This place is beautiful, peaceful and had everything we needed. Plenty of room for all my kiddos and grandkids so we could all stay together. Will definitely be staying again
Stayed here with another family for a softball tournament in nearby Albertville. Overall, great stay. For anyone coming in the future, be aware there is not a hair dryer, so being your own if you need it.
Would have liked some extra blankets available, but that is just a personal preference.
Such a great location! Close to everything and very short drive to City Harbor. Beautiful property with other cabins nearby. They made for great neighbors. Can’t say enough about the cleanliness of the cabin or the great communication with our host, Jess. The front porch accommodated all of us to enjoy the scenery. We will definitely be back.

Guys Golf Trip
The cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a successful trip! Communication was great and check in was a breeze. Beds were comfortable and all amenities were well stocked. This is the third year we have booked this cabin and I don't see us ever staying anywhere else when we're down there! Thanks for an enjoyable getaway!
Connie was very nice. I was able to communicate with her very easily. Evolves team was helpful. This location for my family and I (there were six of us) was just enough. Everything was very cleaned, fully stocked with needed items. It was sad to leave because everything was so nice, we wished we had gone longer. There are three fishing holes on this property that are walking distance also! We will be back again…
We stayed for three nights at the cabin with our seven children ranging from 8-22. The cabin is small, but we had enough beds for everyone. There are two bedrooms, and a bunk room with three large bunk beds. There is a full bathroom in the hall downstairs. The upstairs bathroom is laid out differently. The commode has a room. The shower has a different room, and the sink is in the bunk room. There is no WiFi. We used our cellular service. No washer and dryer. The satellite for the tv did not work. However, we loved the private grounds and the pond. The kids had fun running around outside (there is a play set nearby), and they liked hiking up the hill to see the lake view. During the day, local people come to the property to play frisbee golf. At night, the property is very quiet and feels remote and private. There are two balconies to sit and enjoy the views. You cannot see Lake Guntersville from the cabin, but you can drive (or walk if you feel up to it) up the hill and you will have a great view. There are three eagles nests within a short drive, and we enjoyed looking for them. The local birding photographers are very willing to help you spot the nests. The town nearby has a Walmart and a Publix and places to eat. We had a good time at this property. The booking and checkout process was simple and straight forward.
We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and this was a perfect weekend getaway. The chalet was quaint and well maintained. Easy to check-in and easy to check out. Great communication from the managers. I never had to ask for info it was texted to me prior to my stay including door entry codes.
Please note there is no wireless at the chalet simply because you can't get it there yet. However, phone LTE generally worked fine for surfing and searching restaurants, etc.
There is a small municipal airport located right next door though plane traffic was never an issue. If you are into disc golf the cabins in Kudzu Cove all surround a certified DGA disc golf course which is beautiful and challenging.
Perhaps my favorite part of the location was the access to the top of the mountain. You can drive or hike to the top (I did both). Spectacular lake views await. I went up for sunrise and it did not disappoint.
We ate at two local restaurants one of which was one recommended in the manual at the cabin and picked up from another. Breakfast was at a bait and tackle shop and was delicious. Lunch was at a BBQ joint called "The Hog Leg" I believe. It was also good. We picked up food later for dinner from the "Brick" downtown and this food also did not disappoint.
The TV clarity had something to be desired. though it is understandable considering satellite had to work through the mountains. We had college football games on while we played cards at the table in the kitchen. Overall a wonderful experience and I can see myself returning to this location again.
Note: if you choose this cabin the coffee pot takes cone style not basket style filters. :)

Golf Getaway
The Chalet was a perfect place to unwind after a day on the golf course! There was plenty of room and comfortable beds for all. Everything we needed was there. Communication was great. Connie would have taken care of us if anything had been lacking. Thanks for making our trip so enjoyable!
The Chalet was the perfect place for our group to stay for a 3 day golf trip to the area. Plenty of room for 10 guys. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed.
This place is so beautiful and amazing! From the wraparound porch, walking trails, greenery and ponds, there is so much to do. It is clean and cozy, rustic and spacious-fully stocked wash room also. My family will DEFINITELY be back!
We enjoyed "The Chalet" so much. There was plenty of room inside for us to gather (8 adults). The huge wrap around porch was a pleasure to sit on to observe disc golfers, nature, and sunrises. In the evening, we gathered around the fire pit and shared memories. Highly recommend "The Chalet".
Our stay at this property was absolutely perfect! Not only did the chalet look exactly like the photos, but the grounds were absolutely gorgeous! Side note, you have to watch the sun rise/set from the mountaintop! The property is within 20 minutes of everything!
The owner was very pleasant and helpful to us! We would stay there again anytime!
Great little cozy spot that isnt to far away from everywhere and super close to the lake and boat launches. Owner was super nice and amazing to work with! WOULD FOR SURE STAY AGAIN!
