Great location, close to beach, quiet and relaxing. The cottage had everything we needed plus some little extras (loved the tea). Accommodating hosts. Thank you!

We loved our stay so much we added on another night. Location is perfect, short walk to both beach and main street. Cottage is clean, tidy and has everything you need. Corinne and John were great hosts, answered all queries and made our stay very comfortable. Thanks for having us.
My partner and I had a lovely time in the beautiful town of Port Elliot, made even lovelier by the thoughtful touches and cleanliness of Mohill Cottage. Thank you very much Corinne and John for putting your love and care into this beautiful pocket of the world. Well located too.
We loved our stay. Corinne and John were great with communicating information and promptly responded to questions. The property was as listed and also included some thoughtful touches- wine and chocolate on arrival, a wide selection of teas including locally sold teas, and coffee options.
Our children loved their room and the games and toys.
The property was an easy walk to Horseshoe Bay and located in a very quiet area.
We cannot wait to return.

Thank you Sarah. You were perfect guests and look forward to you coming back :)
Very nice cottage, clean, has everything you could need and very homely.
The location is great. Park your car in the driveway and walk everywhere.
We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful cottage garden drinking our complimentary wine and eating the chocolate. So peaceful listening to the birds chirping. Early morning and late evening when everything is still and quiet you can hear the roar of the ocean. Just amazing.
Corrine and John were very responsive and checked in with us to make sure we were ok. It was nice to meet you both and Merlin. Thank you for recommending De Groot Coffee Co, Factory 9.
It was nice to have good quality loose leaf tea available from Wildflower, a SA product. I was not aware of this tea before and now I can promote this to friends. It was also nice to have wash products that were cruelty free and environmentally friendly. Nice quality extras.
The bed was very comfortable and has electric blankets for cold nights.
Highly recommended this accommodation and will certainly spread the word.

Vera, Anthony and their fur child Leo the pooch was a pleasure to host in our cottage. Vera was very friendly and respectful with their stay leaving the place spotless. Wouldn’t even know anyone had stayed let alone their dog. Would 100% recommend them to any host and hope they return to stay with us at Port Elliot.

We live in Brighton SA and have been lucky enough to have holidayed in Port Elliot for the last 22 years. We hope you love this place as much as we do :)
Why they chose this property
We came across this property by chance one day at an open inspection and after talking to the agent and looking at old titles we saw my husbands great grandfathers name on there back in 1920. We knew we had to buy it after that. We since have learnt we have a strong family history in Port Elliot wit the Fidocks Arriving from Cornwall to settle in Currency Creek. We’ve also now have found the burial sites of our ancestors at the nearby cemetery.
