The interior:
This spacious condo has over 1700 sq ft of living space divided into 3 levels of living.

The upper level features an open/great room floor plan with a brand new kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances, new cabinets and beautiful granite counter tops. There is seating for 6 at the dining table, and seating for 3 more at the kitchen bar. The living area has a large gas burning fire place as well. There is also a ½ bath on this upper level.

The primary bedroom and attached master bathroom are located on the entry level of this property. The master bedroom is very spacious with a king bed, sitting area and has extended cable TV. The master bathroom has new everything, including counter tops, floors, shower and Jacuzzi tub. The primary bathroom also has a very spacious, walk-in closet for all your belongings, including ski gear.

The lower level has 2 additional bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a king size bed with luxurious linens. The other, open bedroom has full over full bunk beds with full trundle. This room also has a seating area, “dry bar” with mini fridge, large cable TV, DVD player and Wii gaming system. The beautifully renovated bathroom has new tile floors, vanity and marble shower.

Lake Village Amenities
Our condo is situated on the edge of the Lake Village Development, backing to the forest, making it quiet and peaceful. You can hike the trails or mountain bike right from our front door. The trails will take you right to Round Hill shopping center, or continue on to Nevada Beach.
Lake Village amenities include community pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts and club house with pool table and ping pong table. The hot tub is open YEAR ROUND until 8:00 pm. Enjoy a snowy soak in the hot tub after a long day of skiing!

Lake Village is conveniently located right off of Hwy 50, minutes from everything!
In the winter, drive less than 5 minutes to the Heavenly Gondola, all the South Tahoe casinos, grocery shopping, restaurants and more.
In the summer, drive less than 5 minutes to Nevada Beach, Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course, Casinos, grocery shopping, restaurants and more.
Heavenly Village is less than a 5 minute drive! This is the center of South Tahoe's day and night life!!

Great location!

We had a wonderful stay in South Lake Tahoe. The condo is as pictured. The location was in close proximity to restaurants and biking trails. Upstairs gets a little warm in the summer but cools down by nighttime. Downstairs stays cool all day. Great stay overall.

Lovely zephyr cove getaway

Lovely place in a convenient location to driving to various parts of Tahoe - close to casinos, beaches and hiking right out the back door.Some things were broken (ice/water machine & disposal) but overall was easy to use.

Good option near Heavenly

Be ready to walk up and down 3 flights of stairs to access all rooms. Lots of space to spread out. Kitchen had everything we needed.

Great stay

The property is clean and functional. Beds are very comfortable and the host allows guests to leave behind condiments. We spent a whole day relaxing at the house during our stay and were very comfortable.

We stayed for 2 nights and worried about the big snow. The property is conveniently located close to state line and 14 minutes drive to Heavenly. The condo is huge and can host 8 and it is clean. We enjoyed out stay and watched the biggest snow fall we had seen so far.

Home away from home in the perfect location

Location is great. Place looks as pictured. Walls pipes floor loud at night making it hard to sleep. 6 adults is comfortable, I wouldn't recommend anymore people than that. Owner is responsive and good to work with.

1 month in Tahoe during Covid

Our Family of four had an incredible 1 month stay even during Covid. We had an awesome time skiing and the condo was great at accommodating all 4 of us working remotely when we had to. Separate spaces to work from and great internet facilitated us working remotely without issue. We loved the huge pines and views from the condo and neighborhood. The condo is nicely and freshly updated in much of the interior. The host was very responsive the few times we had to contact her.

Lovely Stay

The beds are exceptional. We were a party of 5. All beds were very comfortable, bedding & towels were very nice. Upgraded bathrooms & kitchen added to the beauty of the unit. We would be delighted to rent this unit again. Any questions you have are addressed immediately from the owner. We appreciated Yvette being so available to us. We were very happy here.We've been coming to Lake Village for 40 years. The management has done a wonderful job keeping the grounds beautiful. the pool area & spa & game room is very nice.

Stateline Round Hill, Nevada

The owners have done a nice job with having everything you could reasonably expect, And Yvette is great with getting back quickly if you have any questions. 2 miles maximum from Stateline, quiet location, pool, spa, tennis, pickleball, ping pong, basketball and a pool table inside recreation building. The building can get a little warm, but fans are in every room. You will be walking some stairs inside, not the best for someone with mobility issues. For anyone else, I highly recommend the property.

Weekend Wedding Get Away

Our family enjoyed our stay and the positives were that the house was in a quiet area, and centrally located to beaches, literally minutes to downtown, which was very nice. The bathrooms were very clean, with nice upgrades. The beds were all really comfortable. The top floor was very nice, and updated. We did not spend a lot of time in the house as we were out and about for family wedding functions, but the time we were there it was super comfortable. The first and second floors, where the bedrooms were felt a bit dungeon like, as they were pretty dark, and dated but we didn't mind too much. The negatives were that it was really warm at night, and the fact that they had a Kuerig coffee maker, but no coffee for it, was a bit disappointing. Not knowing how old the ground coffee was, we were hesitant to use it. We enjoyed the place overall, and we'd stay here again.

Certain parts of unit signs of hazardous materials laying out in open.

No reply from host when above issue were mentioned place showed signs of hazardous materials behind a curtain, water leaking from water heater into a flower vase, rags laid around vase, along with paint cans near water heater very hazardous in bunk bed area, sour smelling odors in sleeping areas, most of fire alarms laid on counters, food left in refrigerators spoiling. Light switches were not working. Unpleasant stay. Needs inspection ASAP!

I am completely confused and surprised by this review. I do not have any messages from this guest after they checked in regarding any issues with their stay. There is no water leak, vase or rags. No idea what this is referring to. I believe the hazardous material would be paint cans I store under the stairs. (?) My cleaner is instructed to clear out the fridge after each group. It is possible for her to forget. Smoke detectors are mounted to ceiling. Perhaps a CO2 detector was unplugged from a wall. (?) My townhome is inspected annually by the fire department to meet Douglas County regulations for nightly rentals. Please reach out with any further questions regarding this review. Thank you!

Nice place, but a couple issues...

First off, the place was very clean and spacious and looks just as advertised. The host was very accessible and quick to respond. The clubhouse was pretty nice too, with ping pong, pool table and hot tub/sauna. Some issues that arose: The cable wasn't working on the main tv, so that was disappointing. There was a lot of snow in the weeks before our arrival and during it. The walkway to the condo and the stairs hadn't been shoveled in weeks, so there was fresh snow on top of ice/snowpack, which is dangerous. If there were kids were old people w/ me, they wouldn't have been able to get in, or would've had to have been carried. We had to shovel the walk and stairs ourselves. While the host explained her regular shovel guy claimed he hurt his finger and couldn't come out, I think the place should've been shoveled before our arrival. She also mentioned we'd be reimbursed a bit for our shoveling work, but we have not been as of yet. The outside deck was also unusable as it was buried in snow. There's no garage, so our car was also buried. That's not anyone's fault of course, but the neighborhood didn't plow our particular section of street for a day+, so we had to dig ourselves out and have a harrowing drive out of our area. I'd still recommend this place overall, because I think we encountered some bad luck and an oversight that I'm sure will probably not happen again.

Not as nice as expected

The property was very well stocked. We didn't have to buy any basic items, they had plenty of toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, etc. The property is pretty nice, but it is very DARK and there was a bad smell in the bottom floor especially in the bunk room area. and the carpet was a little stained. We opened the window and ran the air purifier which helped with the smell. I let the property manager know. She was great with answering texts but since it was the weekend no one was available to check out the bad smell. Our group of 3 age 60 plus adults found all the stairs a little hard to manage. The condo is a 3 level unit. There are stairs to enter the condo and another flight of stairs up to the living area. The location is convenient with a short drive to town. Really no views here but a nice neighborhood. It would be nice to have usable furniture on the patio. It is a nice spot to enjoy some sunshine.

Beautiful Area

The entire area is indescribable of it’s beauty. The condo is nice and kind of secluded. Good for a relaxing trip. We Didn’t have to worry about too much traffic! The only downside is the lighting is not quite bright enough with all the dark wood in the condo. Yvette was easily accessible by text and answered all our questions in a reasonable time!

Quality control is a big failure in this rental

Be prepared to spend time on annoyances, outreach or doing without if you rent this unit. Outdated paperwork was emailed to me ahead of the trip- Outdated COVID policy and Wrong Wifi. 3 of 4 tvs did not work. The only working tv had Closed Captioning locked in the On position and requires a 4 digit code to unlock. Yvette did not offer to fix these tv issues when we called for help. She simply said, "They should work."...Um, yes, totally agree- TVs in a rental should work. They didn't. Only lamp in the living room has a broken On/Off switch- It was only usable by plugging in and unplugging into the wall itself. Refrigerator light bulb was also out. Clearly, the Property Mgmt rep and Owner never go to check out the rental. Great location but would not rent this again. No AC in the unit. 85-90 degree weather was brutal as the unit retained heat and did not ventilate well. When you rent a place for a 3 day weekend- You expect to be able to have trouble free use of Wi-Fi and tv. In our case, 1 day without Wi-Fi, all days without the use of 3 of 4 tvs. Would not stay here again, nor recommend.

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it once again. Spacious, well-furnished, all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. A little dark throughout - had to keep the lights on during the day, but also kept it relatively cool in the summer heat. Great walking trails right out back, and super close to Zephyr Cove for days at the beach. Could have used some instructions on how to operate the TV, but otherwise they really thought of everything! Thanks for hosting us for a great vacation!

Condo

We stayed here for a week with family. Property was in a great location for beach access and convenience. The condo was not the cleanest as I hoped for which was disappointing and the carpets that were in the living room bedrooms should be deep cleaned or replaced in my opinion. The forest adjacent to the condo was beautiful and great for exploring, hiking and walks. We would definitely stay here again for the price location, convenience and space.

We currently have a vacation rental in WA (VRBO 619404). We've enjoyed the process so much, we decided to open another in a completely different but equally fun location. We look forward to extending our newest get away to you and your families!

Why they chose this property

When searching for our next get away property we wanted something with great amenities (pool, tennis, hot tub, clubhouse) and a location with close proximity to all that South Lake Tahoe has to offer. For us, Lake Village was by far the best, centrally located development in South Tahoe! It's 5 minutes or less from EVERYTHING!

What makes this property unique

We love that our unit backs to the forest with walking/hiking/biking trails.
The property is equal distance to the beaches in the summer and to skiing in the winter!
