We had a great stay! The bed was very comfortable, the only thing I would say is that the A/C in the master bedroom was pretty loud, but once I fell asleep I was fine. A few lizards ran in the house and scared the kids, but what do you expect in the country. We loved the views and the outdoor space.
This was a perfect “get away weekend” location. Close enough to Waco to go in to town and do whatever. But back to the house and you are at a rural retreat. Loved it. Will go back.
It felt like home the minute I arrived. Very clean spacious home - decor was on point. The bed was super comfortable with plump feather pillows. The shower had wonderfully hot water to blast away my stress. The location is private and quiet with cattle near by to keep you company. Deer and rabbits frequent the front of the house and surrounding pastures each morning and evening. The host was very friendly and provided everything I needed for my stay - linens were fresh and fluffy and the hot cocoa was delicious. The full kitchen, washer and dryer were super handy. My favorite part was the lovely porch where I spent each morning sipping coffee and watching the deer. I highly recommended the Dew Drop to those who need to relieve the stress from the hustle and bustle of the city for a breath of fresh air away from it all. If I could give 6 stars I would.
Gorgeous little property in a private setting, yet
close to amenities. House was stocked so well. Decor was adorable. Very comfortable and relaxing. We even had a visit from the cattle while relaxing on the front porch. Our grandsons love the swings, and the popsicles! We recommend, and would definitely stay here again!

Cutest & Coziest in Texas!
We came into town for our daughter’s Baylor graduation. We didn’t want a hotel or to be in town. We chose this little
place tucked away on a cattle/horse ranch. It was so well stocked, and the farmhouse decor was so cute. We had some time out on the porch watching the cattle graze right in front of us. The air conditioning was needed and kept the house very cool. Extra blankets, pillows, bathroom supplies, you name it, they had it. If we come
back to the area, we’ll definitely book again. Highly recommend!

Cozy and Quaint
The ranch farm house was cozy and quaint. We were 3 adults staying. Just a reminder that the second bedroom has bunk beds. I seem to forgotten that. The house is warmed by space heaters. They served their purpose. The house was clean and provide all the kitchen items you need. The setting is pure Texas. On a ranch with cattle. It was simply peaceful and beautiful. The other con was the hot water. It was very limited to one person showering.
The Dew Drop Inn was exactly what our family expected. From the moment we arrived and entered the house we felt right at home. Plenty of room for our family of five. Kitchen was stocked with everything one might need to prepare a meal. Beds were comfy (a little soft for my husband but I slept like a baby) and the window units kept the rooms nice and cool.
The best part was sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee and watching the cows. The evening didn't disappoint either as we were able to see fireflies and listen to the frogs sing.
There was quite a bit of rain during our stay and the road in and out of the property was very muddy. We have four wheel drive so not a big deal at all but it's something to be mindful of if you know it might rain during your stay.
We will definitely keep the little jewel on our favorite list. Hoping we can stay there again when we are in the area.

Look elsewhere- issues with water, bugs, heating, and Evolve customer service
We stayed at this property over Christmas 2022. The property owner informed us the day before that the water was frozen and he was out of town, but may thaw by our arrival the following day. When we arrived, the water had thawed, so we agreed to stay. We left to see family for the remainder of the day and when we returned we quickly realized there was no hot water, the space heaters didn’t adequately heat the house (and were dangerous for our young kids), and there were bugs inside the house (both dead and alive). The following day, the water did not turn on at all so I submitted an inquiry to Evolve. Evolve did not respond to my inquiry for 1.5+ weeks despite multiple follow ups.
We were in town for our niece's wedding. Even in a country setting, this property was nearby so we could come and go throughout the weekend. The home was nice and well stocked. There is even an extra large kitchen sink if you happened to need it.
Absolutely perfect. Quite, clean country cabin. You want be disappointed. Beautiful location with lots of out door space. This cabin has a warm blessed atmosphere. Cute country deco. Comfortable bed soft sheets and a stocked kitchen. Bathroom with tub and shower. Chad is a wonderful host. Recommend a couple restaurants we tried them both. Great food. We will be back.

Nice place!
We enjoyed the front porch, the sweet cows, and the fire pit! The house was really cute, beds were comfy and the house was roomier than I thought! My only complaint was the noisy AC window units, and the very poor reception on the tv. We were trying to watch the Astros in the playoffs, and were unable to watch it either night due to the constant "snow" on the TV. But we absolutely enjoyed the place!
Thank you for hosting us. We enjoyed staying on your property and creating memories. The home was quaint and homey. Everything was well stocked and we enjoyed making s’mores by the campfire. We will definitely be booking again!

Wedding retreat
We booked the property for out of town guest. It was 2 miles from the wedding venue Old Bethany. It was private. The only downfall would have been if it would have rained. The road was a bit bumpy and in need of some gravel. But thankfully the rain held off and all was wonderful.
Easy check in, clean and fully stocked. Good location. Traveling for sons baseball tourney-we enjoyed the yard games & firepit, scenery of a working cattle ranch. Absolutely love that this property doesn’t have Wi-Fi!
Quaint Ranch + Texas Hospitality = the perfect stay!
There’s southern hospitality, and then there’s Texan Hospitality. The owners of this adorable ranch home were amazing and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We loved the quaint surroundings and enjoyed watching the stars by the fire pit each night. The beds were cozy and comfortable, and we slept great. The house had a great rustic vibe with modern amenities. When we come back to visit the area, this home is definitely our first choice.
We had a great time and the morning of leaving we had a chance to see 8 deer’s and a Texas roadrunner you can’t beat that looking forward to coming back
