I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for my little trinkets. Come back and visit Colorado again!
The cabin was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We brought food and made good use of the full kitchen. The wrap-around porch was very nice for reading and watching the mule deer. Very enjoyable.
Everything was perfect. The scenery around the cabin is beautiful, and the cabin had everything we needed. The beds were a little soft for our preferences, but perhaps that’s ideal for someone else.
More than just a place to stay. Our host had everything we needed. Very comfortable and easy and flexible for check-in and out. Quick replies to our questions too.

Came here to recharge and celebrate my dad’s 62nd birthday. Check in and check out was a breeze and we were able to maximize time relaxing in this lovely cabin. This is our second time coming here and love the coziness of this cabin. It feels like home away from home.

We are very glad you were able to enjoy yourself. Our cabin is a special place for our family. Come see us again soon!
We all had a great time in this roomy and comfortable cabin. Everything we needed, from linens to cooking appliances was available. The only negative was that the beds were not real comfortable. Other than that, our time up in Southpark was great!
This place was incredible. Everything you need for a wonderful winter weekend! Gorgeous views and the house is decorated with so much care and love. Will definitely be back! Thank you for a great weekend!!!!

Paul and Pam - I am so thrilled you enjoyed your stay at our cabin! Can't wait for you to come to Colorado again.
Everything as as expected with lots of sleeping space despite the small cabin, toys for the kids, dishes and various kitchen equipment. The electric griddle for pancakes and grilled cheese came in especially handy. It was crazy windy, so we had an issue with the hot water pilot going out, but we got it going. Thanks for letting us enjoy your property Natalie!!
There was a miscomminication with the cleaning crew so the cabin was not cleaned on our arrival. However, my contact on the property quickly resolved the issue and gave us a discount. The cabin is situated in a beautiful area. We snow shoed on the property, enjoyed a fire in the fireplace. The kitchen was well appointed and roomy. Very cozy and relaxing.

Thanks for the review Ann - I apologize again for the mishap, but I am glad we were able to resolve it quickly so you could enjoy your stay. I am glad you were able to enjoy your stay and hope that you come again to stay in the fall to see the beautiful leaves change.
The cabin was very nice. The view was open and wonderful. The location was peaceful. The aspen was blooming. If you want to get away from the crowds the cabin is isolated. There were a few minor annoyances: the furnace ran off and on frequently, under the beautiful large porch was used for clustered storage, and navigating the long drive in wet weather requires aggressive ATV tires. A big plus was the owner was very responsive, helpful, and fair-minded. We had a serious problem and she addressed it quickly. Advice. Check the pricing on holidays. I am not implying that it is too expensive but just to be aware of the premium. The accomodations are wonderful for larger groups.

Thank you for your review Roger. It definitely is difficult keeping that cabin heated when it is chilly outside, so the furnace does run often. I appreciate your honest input and will put some of this into consideration for the future. I know the weather wasn't on your side that weekend, but I hope overall you were able to enjoy your stay. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.
What a great property, and a great location! My friends and I were looking for "guy's retreat"; a place to do some fishing and hang out. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. It is very nicely situated and provides a wonderful location to get away from it all. I will definitely stay here again!
The space is perfect for accessing all of the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. If you would like to make this your "base camp", you can get to EVERY attraction within 1.5 hours (Estes, Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park, Breck, Garden of the Gods etc). I would recommend staying at this rental.
Natalie was a great host. The cabin was incredible, with a great wraparound porch. We saw lots of birds and had a mule deer come right up to the house. This is a great place to de-stress in a tranquil setting.

About the host
Hosted by Natalie Odette-Baxley
My family has owned this property since the '70s and decided to build their dream cabin in 2003 and now I would like to share our dreams with you. We are Colorado residents, we have lived here since 1980. We love to vacation to our home away from home in the mountains, but we also like to take our vacations to the beach. Our children play competitive sports now, making it difficult to get up to the cabin as much as we would like, so we would like to share it with you.
Why they chose this property
Our cabin is located within the aspens in a private setting away from your neighbors and hustle and bustle. My family built this cabin with their own two hands, creating a beautiful place to get away. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into the building own this cabin. The cabin is perfectly located with nearby activities or located for privacy, to just get away and relax. We will ensure to accomodate you as much as we can during your stay, so we are just a phone call away.
What makes this property unique
I have a local property owner that can be there within 20 minutes for emergencies. We are local to Colorado, but are about 1 hour 30 minutes away. You don't find many cabins in the area that are full log cabins, this makes us stand out amongst the rest.
