THE ACCOMMODATION
Detached single-storey house with a private heated pool and a large sun terrace surrounded by a beautiful garden with views of the Ajaches mountains and the Atlantic Ocean.
The house has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, private parking, and is fully furnished and equipped for 6 people.
The house has 2 bedrooms: a main bedroom with a double bed, air conditioning, double built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers, and a full en-suite bathroom; a bedroom with two beds, bedside table and built-in wardrobe; an office with two beds, bedside table and chest of drawers; and a shared full bathroom with bathtub and shower.
The terrace has a covered area with a porch, dining table and 6 chairs, heated pool, large sun terrace with 6 loungers for sunbathing, a barbecue, and is surrounded by a beautiful garden with artificial lighting, with excellent views of the mountains and the sea, where you can enjoy total privacy.
The kitchen is separate, fully equipped (fridge, freezer, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, blender and toaster) and has a closed and covered laundry room equipped with washing machine, ironing centre and clothesline.
The living room is separate and has a dining table and 6 chairs, sofa and two armchairs, air conditioning, ceiling fan, digital TV, satellite TV and DVD, and also has an indoor garden.
And, if necessary, the villa has a cot and high chair for babies.
The house has an alarm system as an additional safety measure.
THE SURROUNDINGS
The house is located in the sought-after area of Las Coloradas (Urbanización La Granja), very well situated and in a very quiet area with total privacy.
The house has magnificent views of the Los Ajaches mountains and the Atlantic Ocean and is very well located, only 600 metres from the beach of Las Coloradas, from where the promenade that runs along the coast begins and along which you can walk to the centre of the village of Playa Blanca, which is 2,500 metres away.
Likewise, the villa is very close to the beaches of Papagayo (1,500 metres), the Marina Rubicón marina (1,500 metres) and Dorada beach (2,000 metres).
The house is also in a very quiet, private and exclusively residential area (Urbanización La Granja), with no bars or shops nearby that cause noise, and 400 metres from a supermarket where guests can buy everything they need during their stay.
The house has an independent entrance and is completely walled, and on the terrace (where the pool and sun terrace are) you can enjoy magnificent views and total privacy.

Lovely quiet place

Great place, quiet but 5 minutes from shops and a 10 minute walk to the Rubicon Marina. Address is a but tricky as the street sign for Calle Cyca4 is missing, there is a notice board on the wall where it should be that has a map showing the property. Overall we had a great stay.

Nice villa, quite remote and could do with some TLC!

Nice property. Air con works well and kitchen is clean etc as are bathrooms. Outside could do with some TLC as it’s quite worn, as are the settees. Pool is well maintained during stay. Owner is super helpful. Amenities are further away than listed, area is quite remote. Definitely recommend a car hire.

Lovely Villa

We had a great stay in the villa. Pool was lovely. Villa clean with everything we needed great views of mountains and sea. It is a little on outskirts of town and some development going on in that area still, but you don't see that once in Villa. Unless you are big walkers you will need a car or think you can get bus down the road. Playa Papagayo and Mujeres are the prettiest on the island

Nicely situated comfortable villa

We spent two very nice weeks in this beautiful and comfortable villa in Playa Blanca. We had high expectations because of the information on internet, and they were fully met!The villa and the terrace are very nicely situated in a quiet neighbourhood at the edge of an urban development. Supermarkets are conveniently nearby. Manuel Iglesias and his team were very helpful by the transfer of the keys and helped us to set up an internet connection. Unfortunately the public telephone infrastructure in Playa Blanca still needs to be improved. We would like very much to return to 'Villa Anna'.

We really enjoyed the house.Exceptional location, great amenities.Very well organized.A huge thanks for the « basis stuffs » we found in the villa as salt, pepper… so much appreciable to have toilet paper and soap when we arrived.Great quality of bed, towels, and nice to have towels for the swimming pool.Perfect temperature of the swimming pool (essential with a kid:-) and air conditioning was very useful.Manuel was very responsive as well.In a nutshell fantastic stay !Nevertheless few points of improvements:- need to change the transat/ not confortable, not cleaned and very old fashioned- we did not find water to clean the terrace; indeed with the Sahara wind there was a lot of dust outside and we were not able to clean the hallways near the swimming pool.- very noisy pump just behind the head of the bed in the master bedroom. Probably noise comes from the neighbours/ their swimming pool pump? But I m quite sure the issue will be fixed swiftly. That was an issue to be honest but we used ear plugs. My family and I felt in Love of Lanzarote and this charming house!!!

Would return in a heartbeat.

Villa was as described. Couple of things missing which was rectified in 10 minutes (couldn’t believe how responsive Miguel and his team were) Pool cleaned often and we were never interrupted. Alarm didn’t work and someone was to come fix it, they never, but I never bothered chasing up as the villa is in a quiet residential area and we felt secure enough not to worry. Villa is a little tired but unless you go expecting 5* accommodation you won’t mind. Sun from morning to night and up there with the best located villa we’ve stayed in at Playa Blanca. Wouldn’t hesitate in returning!

An information book would have been good. And Amenities improved. When we arrived we couldn’t entre as the outside gate was lock. So we had to wait for the lady cleaner to come let us in it until 21.40pm. Then there was a sound of water running which turned out to be the broken family bathroom toilet. That could not be fixed for four days. Then still not fixed properly when we left. This meant we had to all share the en suite therefore we as the couple had no privacy. As our (83 year old friend ) uses the toilet three time in the night. Spoiling our holiday. Their wasn’t even a bottle of drinking water left for us on arrival. Or couple off tea bags or coffee as arrived late. We had to rush to the closing shop just made it. The property had no feel of luxury. Where should I start. The patio door shutters were off the roller and broken. It took the two men in the party to open them. It felt like living in a darkened room. It felt there had not been much maintenance. These are issues that the owner seemed to be aware off accordingly to emails received from him. It would have made our stay much easier If these were acted on before our arrival. What a shame it could be shush a nice house

I am very sorry for the problems you experienced during your stay. The house, as you rightly say, is very nice, but no house is immune to minor breakdowns. It is true that a toilet malfunctioned, but a technician came and fixed it. The track on the door leading to the terrace also broke, but you were able to access the terrace at all times because there is a second door. Everything is now repaired and in perfect working order. We have also changed now the heat pump that heats the pool water with a new, more powerful one. We carry out continuous maintenance on the house, but that doesn't prevent things from occasionally breaking down, as can happen in any other house. Finally, regarding access to the house, the guests arrived in the afternoon. They were given the access code for the lockbox where the keys are kept so they could enter themselves, but at their request, someone came to open the door for them.

We've stayed in Playa Blanca several times now over the summer. This time, we opted to stay for 1 month, and the pricing for this villa was attractive. As other reviewers have noted, describing it as a luxury villa is probably a stretch. It is nice overall, spacious, and has a good outdoor area. Internally, it's a bit tired and not as well equipped as other villas. The location, at least on Vrbo, isn't particularly accurate. It's further away from the coast, though walkable to the marina and to the nearest SuperDino. We had an issue one night with a flood, which was due to a burst pipe. In fairness to the property management company, they had someone with us within 30 minutes, despite it being 2am. The water was shut off in the ensuite bathroom to prevent any further flooding. The following morning, a plumber was on site. So, great credit and we were glad of getting the issue fixed promptly. These things can happen!The pool was well maintained and kept clean throughout the duration. The cleaning service was mostly just a change of towels and bedding, so we did some extra cleaning ourselves.As mentioned, the outdoor area is nice and spacious. It's a pretty quiet location for the most part. The road behind the villa is set back quite a distance and there isn't much traffic on it. There isn't defined parking for the villa and, nearer the end of the stay as summer visitor numbers increased, parking close to the villa became more problematic.

Gaining access was a nightmare,arrived at the villa at 6.30pm got in the villa at about 9.30 pm, i was not given the lockbox code that should have been sent to me before we arrived, so this meant sitting in the dark waiting for for help from the owner or the property manager, finally after many messages the owner emailed me the code for the lock box but not the house alarm so needless to say as we opened the door the alarm went off it was so loud we couldn't stay inside,after it was finally deactivated we went back in. never heard from the manager for the whole of our stay i thought he might be in contact to see if all was good after all the hassle we had the night before but nothing.i wouldn't say this was a luxury villa but it has everything you could need for a pleasant stay.the pool was a lot smaller than the photos show but again it was adequate. the shops are a lot further away than 400m more like 800m or a good 12 minute walk at a steady pace. there is an air con unit on the outside of the main bedroom wall for the villa next door which comes on intermittently through out the night we found it quite loud when going to sleep but once asleep it did not wake us.There is no folder with info as we have had in previous villas i.e., cab numbers, things to do places to go which if you have not been to the area before is very helpful.the fuse board kept tripping at random times very frustrating. Overall we had a lovely holiday despite the hassle on arrival.

What a super little villa. Well equipped with most things you could wish for. We arrived in the dark and as the villa is tucked away up a small alley it wasn’t particularly easy to find. I messaged Manuel and he sent someone to our rescue to show us. The area where the villa is situated is away from the main restaurants and bars and is a good 25 minute walk to the Rubicón Marina. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay, I just wish we could pick the villa up and put it nearer to the shops, restaurants and bars. I say this as an active person who enjoys a good walk. My only criticism of the villa itself is that the sun loungers need replacing, there are no cushions for them and the only cushions on the garden dining furniture are very tired and let things down. Although the property is advertised with a heated pool, if you want it heated you do have to pay extra.

Enjoyed our stay

We were led to believe that this was a luxury villa and although it was very nice certainly not luxury. On arrival there was no one to meet us to tell us the key safe code but went around the back where door was open. There was not enough crockery for 6 people only 3 mugs so we had to go out and purchase more and although we contacted the owner no refund has been given. The hairdryer broke half way through our 10 days and the owner was quick to get us another one. And although we had paid extra for the pool to be heated somedays it was very cold which we did mention to owner and he sent someone out, and although it did improve still not very warm. The villa is in a good location of a walk to the Marina which took about 40 minutes but we think it is essential you have a car. We used the barbecue once but had to clean it before use. It was quite chilly whilst we were there and di not have to use air conditioning at all and we were very grateful of the blankets that were in the cupboard. Also in the garden area there were only 4 sun loungers but maybe they bring more if there are 6 of you. Could have done with some nice soft cushioned sofas to sit on as the garden is quite large.

I am glad to know that you liked the house. The house is continually bieng renoveted. Since your departure, the master bathroom has been renovated, replacing the bathtub with a shower, which we think will be more comfortable for our guests.Before your arrival, you were given the access code that opens the front door of the house. The exterior garden door is left open so the guest can access the front door and enter the house using the access code. Customers are provided with the name and phone number of the person responsible for the home's maintenance. It wasn´t necessary tha you purchased anything, and in any case, you were offered a refund, but you declined. At your request, the person responsible for maintenance came to the house and verified that the pool pump was working and that the pool temperature was adequate (27-28º). Before a new guest arrives, the entire house is cleaned, including the barbecue. On the terrace, the appropriate number of sun loungers is provided for the number of people in each reservation.

We had a lovely holiday at Villa Anna. The villa is well equipped and comfortable.

Villa Anna is clean, well equipped and comfortable. However, if you struggle to walk long distance you will need a car, as villa Anna is located quite some distance from the centre. There is a supermarket and a couple of cafes within walking distance, about 5 minutes and it isn’t too far from the Los Colorados area of Playa Blanca and a bus stop for the local bus (No 30), which you can get to anywhere in the resort for just €1.40. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay and are happy to walk distances or hire a car, villa Anna is ideal. The pool is slightly bigger than those we’ve had in the past and the outside area is plentiful with views of the mountains. There is a table and chairs for outside dining, although these could do with an update, as the chairs are past their best and are beginning to come apart, we were only 4 in our party and were able to pick the better chairs to sit on. The kitchen is well equipped and the utility area is ideal, the living area is quite large, but if 6 adults were staying the seating in the living room would be lacking, with a three seater settee and two armchairs, otherwise it was comfortable. The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. We would recommend villa Anna, but be mindful of distance.

Lovely Stay In Papagayo

Really nice 16 days in the house. Location wise it is situated at the Papagayo end of Playa Blanca so I would advise a car to get around although its a 20 minute walk into Playa Blanca itself. The house has everything you need for your stay, fully equipped kitchen even a washing machine. Good WiFi and air conditioning available however we never used the air conditioning. Plenty of room for everyone with 2 separate bathrooms. Nice comfy lounge with a decent sized TV. Outside the Pool is a good size and was cleaned once a week. Lovely view down to the sea. There is a road at the back but very little traffic can be heard. There is a lot of building work going on in the area but it isn't noisy and didn't affect our stay. There is a Superdino supermarket down the road along with a small bar and cafe. You would need a taxi to go into Playa Blanca or Marina Rubicon in the evening or walk in and use a taxi to get home. Overall a lovely place to stay, could do with a bit of TLC in parts but would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you.

Slightly ‘tired’ property

The general location indicated at the time of booking is slight misleading, as the Villa is slightly further out in an area where you have to walk through unfinished properties and wasteland. Many of these properties have people living in them presumably unofficially - a sign of the times really. The villa itself is ok but the bathrooms are old and everything is a bit jaded. We arrived in an evening to the pool overflowing and no water in the villa. We messaged the manager and he sent someone to rectify it that evening. We had gone out to eat and there was still no water in the villa on our return. It was late but we did create a fuss and to be fair it was sorted out after we went to bed. Low water pressure continued to be an issue throughout our stay. I think a new pump was being installed after we left - someone arrived to do it on our last day but it was very intrusive by the pool so I asked for him to wait until we’d left. A new pool pump/filter was installed while we were there. People did just turn up unannounced to do these jobs - it would have been nice to have warning both for our sake and the poor man who was embarrassed we hadn’t been told. The pool is very nice. The chairs and sun loungers need new seat covers. The view from the villa to the sea is nice. You can walk to the supermarket easily and if you’re happy to walk further then getting over the hill to Papagayo beach is an easy walk up by the hotels near the local beach & the Marina is 20/25 minutes walk.

Obviously not all customers have the same opinion because the three comments to yours were five stars. It is inevitable that a fault may arise in the house, the important thing is that, as has happened in your case, it is fixed as soon as possible. On the island of Lanzarote there is currently a problem of water scarcity that affects the supply of houses with the consequent loss of water pressure, a problem that the authorities are trying to solve. Finally, we are glad to know that you found the pool beautiful and that you also liked the location of the house. Indeed, the location of the house is magnificent, close to the best beaches and the marina, as well as two supermarkets, with a terrace with beautiful views. We hope to see you again in our house soon

We hebben een erg fijn verblijf gehad. Het terras was erg groot. Voldoende mogelijkheid om het bedje zo neer te zetten dat je maximaal van de zon kunt genieten. De meer betaling voor het zwembad is ook meer dan de moeite waard. Het zwembad is hierdoor erg aangenaam. De inloopdouche met gewone douchekop en regendouche is ook fijn. Was voor ons nu niet van toepassing, maar doordat alles gelijkvloers is en door aanwezigheid van inloopdouche is het ook uitermate geschikt voor mensen met een lichamelijke beperking. Vanuit het terras heb je een mooi uitzicht op de bergen en op de zee. Ook is het er lekker rustig. Ook verliep het mailcontact met de eigenaar en Grupo Luma (die de schoonmaak, etc.. in beheer heeft in Playa blanca goed). Tijdens de vakantie paar keer een appje gestuurd en dit werd telkens heel snel opgepakt.
