Villa with Sea and Mountain Views, Private Pool, Games Shack

Thank you so much for leaving a review :) We try to provide top class accommodation and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at our home in sunny Spain. With regard to the Hire Car, we are mean and hire a Fiat Panda (or similar) as do the kids (and now with our grand kids) and we zoom around with ease. It was very hot (40c some days) during stay and if the air conditioning on the car is on full belt it will seriously reduce the available engine power, especially on smaller cars . Just turn off the air conditioning and the power will increase for any steep hills, when you are on the flat, turn it back on again, we know this trick after many years towing large caravans LOL.

Thanks for your review, good or bad, as proud owners they each give us a chance to get things right and learn what could and should do be better. The very first line of the description, Dama De La Sierra, translated is Queen of the Mountain in English. We encourage all our potential guests to ask questions about the villa, to satisfy themselves this is the right place for them. Guest questions are always answered quickly and honestly. If you were expecting a beach, a poor holiday is assured, it's 20 minutes away! The weather was poor for Mid August with some cloudy days and heavy rain. The deluge overwhelmed the drainage system and flooded the pump room, damaging the water pump. We anticipate that things can go wrong, when we send out the welcome email, we include three alternative contact emergency telephone numbers and two email addresses. In the villa (located in the information booklet) we also have a forth, in the event of any emergency any of these are four people will assist. We do this to ensure our guests have a 1 in 4 change of getting the help they need quickly. The pump has dried out and working, we are looking at ways to divert excess water away to avoid flooding in the future. Rain and cloud in August, unusual but it happens:(.

Dear Sylvia Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I was delighted to read that you all had a fab holiday. We all find the local roads a little daunting first time around, but as you found, you soon settle in and then zoom around with ease. I was so pleased too that you enjoyed the stunning walks from right outside the villa gates. It is very difficult to convey in an advert the tranquillity and fantastic views that driving an extra 5 minutes delivers. Plus the villa is beautifully appointed, like your home from home.
