This beautiful, newly refurbished villa has been decorated to the highest standard. https://arrobasagres.com/3d/v66/index.html 5 bedrooms, all en-suite, air con, underfloor heating, satellite TV extensive (south facing) terracing with BBQ area, remote controlled garage.Full touristic rental licence. There is a large heated pool surrounded by security fencing. This is a newly installed safety measure for our younger guests, with 2 gates providing access.
All rooms are south facing. The bedrooms look out over the pool and beautifully planted gardens, with patio doors in all bedrooms leading directly to the large heated swimming pool. The planting in the garden is mature with trees offering shade in the sun if desired and also privacy. There are ample sun loungers by the pool area with shade also from the palm tree in the garden. Outdoor furniture on patio offering a quiet area to read or relax, with other outdoor seating in shaded areas with lovely views of the garden. Housekeeping call twice weekly with daily calls available on request. We take hygiene levels very seriously at the villa, and please be assured that the villa is thoroughly cleaned between guests. All linen supplied. High chair/ stairs safety gate/ travel cot with linens also available on request. Beautiful villa, private with lovely views.

This was our 10th year staying in the same area near Budens and this villa was the best we've stayed in. Incredibly spacious, well furnished and clean. Pool very private, loved the terrace seating area outside the kitchen with built in BBQ. Would highly recommend this villa and booking was very easy and efficient with owner.

We were a party of 7 adults and three kids (12,10 and 4) and we found this to be a lovely villa well positioned close to all the amenities in the area and five minutes from Salema beach which is very suitable for all ages. The pool and garden area were great and very private with a great mix of all day sun and shade for the less sun happy. The well appointed kitchen, outdoor terrace above the pool and lounge/dining area with a good range of TV programmes for all ages made meals and leisure time a pleasure for all. The bedrooms and en suite shower rooms were all very comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at Barbara's villa. The villa was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Small issues were dealt with promptly and efficiently by the local villa manager. The villa is large, with five excellently sized bedrooms and ample outdoor space. The villa sits is a sheltered position which is beneficial as the area can be windy. Bed linen and towels were replaced during our stay which was an additional benefit. All in all a great villa!

Lovely villa and perfect holiday

Lovely villa and facilities. The beds were a little hard which was the only downside to what was a great holiday. The resort is quiet which is to be expected being a good resort which was perfect for us given we wanted a week of R&R. The host was really helpful and we were allowed to extend our checkout time which was really helpful given we had a late flight. All in all a perfect holiday in a beautiful part of Portugal.

Excellent Villa and Service

We stayed in the villa with young children and teenagers. We had a fantastic time, very nice house and very suitable also for young children. The service is excellent and so is the contact with the owner, Barbara. She answered our questions quickly and adequately. Highly recommended.

Really great villa for our large extended family. We were celebrating a family event and all 3 brothers and their wives and 4 children were accommodated comfortably at the villa. Great to have the heated pool and BBQ so we were as happy to stay in as go out!😎😎😎

Lovely villa & host, perfect for kids

The villa is a lovely size with plenty of room. It's a perfect place to take young children as Barbara has set up stair gates where needed and a secure pool guard. Lots of toys in the garage that they were allowed to use which saved us from bringing them over in suitcases! Barbara was very helpful and always replied quickly to any questions we had, before and during the stay. We had a lovely stay and would definitely consider visiting again!

Good place to stay in Ouest Algarve

Good organisation. Nice house, big rooms, nice pool, good kitchen. Only two points to enhance: please leave better knifes since the barbecue is perfect to regularly cook. Second point is please provide more useful informations on the possibilities in the golf area and in the surrounding villages: good addresses to buy food, for surfing, etc... But it is minor reports regarding the location and house. Cheers, Philippe

Good for families of all generations

Bedrooms are comfortable with full amenities. Kitchen well stocked and utility room / drying area a bonus. The garden is secluded and the pool is large - plenty of sun loungers and shade ( for those needing it). Good stock of beach towels and other linens. Service for gardening / pool and linen change is discreet and regular. However there is no other cleaning service unless you arrange separately and pay. Floors are tiled throughout and you do need to keep swept and mopped, and surfaces wiped down to avoid ants. In easy drive of Intermarche and Lidl supermarkets plus Salema beaches. Day trips to Lagos were fun. Great golf course for the golf fans and easy walk to the spike bar for non golfers to meet at the 19th. We were disappointed that the resort Spa and childrens' play area were closed. No restaurants in other than lunchtime spike bar in walking distance. Pizza takeaway from the trattoria by the Intermarche is good. Barbara is very informative helpful throughout the booking process. She recommended some good restaurants, a local taxi service and babysitter. She even arranged for a small shop to be waiting for us to tide us over the first 24 hours. A good villa for a large family gathering - plenty of space and not too pristine - so we felt very comfortable and at ease all the time. Well spread out so it is possible to find some quiet space if you want it. Bedrooms are quiet - we did not hear the grandchildren despite them sleeping in the two adjacent rooms!

Beautiful spacious villa in a fantastic location

We had a great family holiday in this spacious and very comfortable villa. The resort is very well maintained and the golf course views are stunning. Lots of amazing beaches within a short drive. Barbara the owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had.

Family summer holiday

We have just spent a fabulous week in this beautiful villa. It was massive, clean, comfortable and surrounded by stunning gardens. A delight to wake up to a great view and a lovely swimming pool. It had everything you would need and more to have a brilliant holiday. Also the local town of Salema had great restaurants and a beautiful beach. We had a great stay here. Barbara the property owner was very helpful and replied to all my emails immediately. Overall a fantastic week enjoyed by all of us and we look forward to returning.

Perfect family holiday

My extended family and I had a truly great holiday in the villa.The villa is very large and comfortable, with lots of outdoor seating and nooks to relax in the shade too. The BBQ was great and we ate in a lot, but also availed of the many lovely restaurants in the area. The heated pool was a big hit with everyone, and the ladder at the deeper end was a great help to my elder parents getting in and out. The owner was extremely helpful, and always to hand to answer any questions we had and in a very timely manner. 5 stars all round!!! Brian

Beautiful villa, great location

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely spacious Villa. When we arrived the kitchen was stocked with a few essentials which was a nice touch. Having the pool was great, we had it heated but it was still refreshing to have a swim and get out of the heat. The villa itself was perfect for our group of 8, it was spotlessly clean and well maintained. There were lots of beach towels which was great, and the BBQ area got some great use! The owner was very helpful and responded promptly to all of our queries prior to arrival. The beach in Salema was only a five minute drive and we spent some lovely days hanging out on the beach. There are loads of great restaurants for lunch and some good bars for sundowners. We had a day of golf which was thoroughly enjoyable, and the Gym and tennis facilities, as well as the communal pool were all enjoyed by our group. The Villa is located a short drive from Lagos, which is definitely worth a visit. Very historical town, some beautiful beaches nearby including Praia dona Ana. We also went to some fantastic restaurants in Lagos including Artistas, and just outside of Lagos Cachoa. I’m the opposite direction is Sagres, which is also just a short drive and worth a visit. We went to a fabulous restaurant for dinner there called Villa Vhela which I would definitely recommend. Overall very enjoyable holiday, well located spacious Villa, we will definitely be back.

Por poner un pero diría que debería estar mejor equipada en cuanto a cubiertos, vasos, manteles, etc. El lavavajillas no funciono del todo bien. Pero, en resumen estuvimos muy a gusto y todo muy bien!!

Sehr empfehlenswert! Unsere Kinder waren begeistert vom beheizten Pool. Alles war tipptopp gepflegt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war ausgesprochen nett. Es gab vorab sehr viele nützliche Informationen von Mrs Murphy.

Stunning villa, fabulous location

This is a stunning villa! It is spacious, comfortable and luxurious and the facilities are second to none! The pool area is spectacular with plenty of loungers available for relaxing in great comfort! The dining area outside, with veranda and built-in barbecue were central to our holiday. The kids and adults alike loved the villa with golf, tennis, restaurants, 'blue lagoon' swimming pool and playground at hand as well as local beaches and plenty of shopping in local villages and towns. Clean, comfortable, accessible and very luxurious! A superb place to stay.

Great family holiday

Fantastic family holiday location. Plenty of sports / recreational facilities nearby. BBQ'd occasionally but mainly ate in local restaurants which had magnificent seafood at very reasonable prices. Property was beautifully maintained and house manager / staff very helpful and friendly. Villa very private and had breathtaking panoramic views. Lazed around the house a few days and remaining days on beaches, water parks and exploration / shopping trips locally. Kids loved it. We would thoroughly recommend this villa.

Why they chose this property

We purchased the villa in 2000. Our 3 children were quite young at that point and we have enjoyed many happy holidays in the resort both in the summertime and over Christmas and Easter. As we live in the countryside in Ireland and had to drive our children everywhere, it was a great novelty for our children over the years to be able to walk to tennis/golf/ pools etc! The resort has lots of attractions for children of all ages with my now adult children still maintaining friendships with people they met over the years. As our children are adults now they don't use the villa as much as they would like due to college/work commitments , and as a result we rent for part of the summer enabling other families to get as much pleasure both from the villa and the resort as we have enjoyed over the years.

What makes this property unique

One of the reasons we bought this villa in particular was all bedrooms opened to the pool terrace and the garden. As all bedrooms are south facing the view of the beautiful flowers and trees in the garden bathed in beautiful sunshine in the morning was really lovely to see! We stayed in the villa for a few days prior to purchasing it which allowed us to get a real feel for the property, and it was factors such as I have mentioned earlier which swayed us in our final decision making.
