Very smart luxury villa with access to the best heated pool a few yards of front door, luxury in exclusive Parque da Floresta, now Golf San Antonio, Resort. The house has three terraces, sun loungers, BBQ, UK and European TV via sat dishes, fast Internet and all amenities. It is close to some of the best beaches in the world and great local restaurants. The resort offers a children's club, spa and tennis courts, great for families, golfers and non golfers. There are many diverse activities for non-golfers and families with children. A comprehensive info pack will be sent to you on booking.

A few minutes drive to superb Salema beach, many other unspoilt beaches in secluded coves, great beach and traditional restaurants. Short drives to historical Lagos with typical cobbled streets and lovely boutiques, ancient harbour of Sagres, walks in Cape San Vincente National Park and wild Atlantic beaches. Great surfing on the Atlantic coast.

Our excellent house manager will prepare the house for your arrival and exit clean is included, further cleaning is available on request. We can arrange a welcome pack at cost, cot and high chair as well as internet connection. She will ensure all your needs are met during your stay. We can put you in touch with our favourite best value car hire. We will also send you our latest restaurant list. The local supermarket in Budens is less than 10 minutes walk and less than 5 mins drive, open all week inc sundays till 8pm, and caters for all needs.
For golfers,as well as the San Antonio golf course, there is a great choice of golf courses in the area which gives our guests a lot of variety. The ideal time for golfers is throughout the year, a fantastic way to escape winter for the sunny climes of the Algarve. In hot summer, best to play early morning.

Great location and very well equipped

Very good level of equipment, furnishings and facilities, clean and well maintained. The pool is only a step away, a decent size and a quietly relaxing place to read and chill.

Well appointed villa with great views to the golf course and hillsides. Close to numerous small beach towns and beaches and hiking trails - great for exploring the western Algarve. Beds could be more comfortable/ updated, but the villa is in general a great stay.

The property is in a perfect location not far from Salema with a wonderful beach and great restaurants. The house has all the amenities you would ever need and a lively balcony with barbecue overlooking the golf course. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Another fabulous stay at this gorgeous villa!

This was my second time staying at this villa. My parents came with us this time, and they fell in love with it. The villa is light and bright throughout, and is kept very clean. The villa is well stocked with kitchen appliances and utensils, has a hairdryer and bath and beach towels for those who like to pack light. The villa has access to a gorgeous, communal pool which we had to ourselves for the majority of our stay. The grounds are also very well maintained on the complex. Checking in and out is easy, and communication is very good leading up to the stay and during the stay. The hosts went above and beyond for us and we will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for another fabulous stay :-)

3 level condo in a lovely golf and spa complex between Lagos and Sagres

Everything about our stay was great. The kitchen is really well stocked for food prep. I most appreciate the two sharp knives! I usually bring one of my own because VRBO rentals don't often have them. We were a little perplexed operating the washer and other appliances. It was immensely helpful to have the manuals available. We also appreciated having coffee in the place when we arrived, as we forgot to pick it up while at the Intermarche on the way in. The bed was really comfortable, the shower lovely and all the rest just right. I appreciate that all the staff at the resort were friendly and helpful to us even though we were not owners. We played two rounds of twilight golf, renting clubs and buggies, etc., and it all worked out well. Quite a funny and challenging course! We managed to get over to Sagres and ate lunch at Telheiro do Infante, walked the beach at Cabanas another day and stopped at that cafe for a bite. Took the Bom Dia sailing tour out of Lagos to the coastal caves, which was jawdropping and fun, and did a private boat charter out of Faro to the islands in the Ria Famosa. That was lovely too. We really enjoyed the area and this rental site.

A lovely villa located in a lovely tranquil place

We stayed at this beautiful villa for 8 nights during August 2023. Where to start?! Firstly the communication from the owners and manager was outstanding and they were happy to accommodate any requests we had. On arrival the villa exceeded our expectations, the photos did not do it justice! The Villa was clean and fresh, and bright with natural light throughout. The two bedrooms were spacious, both had air con too which was needed during our stay. Both bedroom also have blackout curtains. The kitchen was well equipped, but my favourite thing was having a washing machine on hand. There is also air con in the dining/living room. The Villa had a sun terrace and a balcony off the dining room. Both of these had spectacular views of the golf course. There is also a terrace off both bedrooms which was another bonus. The area is a very peaceful place. The grounds are well maintained. We rented a car so the nearest beach was about 7 mins in the car. If you wanted a taxi it was around 7-12 euros depending on where you were going. The supermarket is also only a 5 min drive away. On site there is a club house, serving food and drinks at reasonable prices. The pool was great. It was very quiet and more often than not we were lucky to have it to ourselves . We would highly recommend this villa, and we cannot wait to return next year!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in Budens. Unkomplizierte und freundliche Kommunikation. Alles war vorhanden, bestens ausgestattet und sauber. Der schöne Pool war ganz in der Nähe. Die Lage ist prima, die tollen Strände von Salema, Sagres und Vila do Bispo nicht weit entfernt. Gerne kommen wir bei unserem nächsten Portugal-Urlaub wieder.

Descrição do apartamento correspondente à realidade. Bom enquadramento com a paisagem envolvente, vista desafogada e sobre o campo de golfe. O apartamento estava impecavelmente limpo e muito bem equipado, os colchões e almofadas são bons. Uma máquina Nespresso seria um must.Wi-Fi ilimitado valoriza a casa para quem tem filhos adolescentes. Estacionamento fácil, em suma uma boa opção com boa relação qualidade/preço.

Family holiday

We had a fantastic holiday for nearly 2 week with our two buys (9 & 11). The apartment was spotless and very modern with everything you needed. Its layout worked really well spilt over two floors. We had many BBQ's on the terrace overlooking the golf course in the evenings. The swimming pool was excellent - very clean and quiet most of the time. This is a lovely quiet resort in walking distance to the village which has an amazing restaurant, traditional bakery and a supermarket. The surrounding area is beautiful and the beaches amazing. This is rural Portugal and we will come back again!!

The house is fully equipped and extremely comfortable for 4 people.

The owner was extremely helpful and followed up on our emails quickly. She has a good house manager who helped is during our stay, no question was too small. We spent 2 weeks here and are reluctant to leave.

A lovely house in an ideal location.

The house afforded us everything we needed for a comfortable stay and we enjoyed it very much. We especially loved the bedroom proportions and the layout upstairs with the balcony. Everything was in working order and the information we received was very good. When we did have a problem with the balcony chairs it was resolved the very same day with no fuss. We made great use of the juicer with the lovely oranges available and we were able to enjoy the Olympic Games as we had access to BBC TV. If we could suggest some improvements, these would be having cushions and an occasional table on the roof terrace and also a modest table and chairs on the ground floor terrace. Also, the double bed was very creaky and needs attention. (screws tightening?) Restaurant wise, we loved O Tiago in Budens but had a poor experience at the resort Pizzeria, Vincentes. We had great meals at Zavial, Castelejo, Adega de la Marina in Lagos, and a poor meal at Atlantico in Salema. Agua na Boca was very good in Salema though.

We are a professional semi-retired and active couple who like travelling and exploring places. We now have a baby grand-daughter in New York so less time for our visits to Portugal, ie more time for guests! In England we live in West London and are always happy to chat with people and give them as much information as we can so they can look forward to a great holiday.

Why they chose this property

At first we were very taken by the Portuguese people and culture during a visit to Lisbon. Then we fell in love with this still quite wild area of the Algarve, its wonderful unspoilt beaches, welcoming beach restaurants, fabulous fresh fish and lovely wines at quite reasonable prices. We love relaxing in the warm sunshine, a great escape from our busy lives. The resort and its landscape makes it a very pleasant and quiet surrounding. We particularly enjoy the swimming pools close to our house which are always clean and heated, as well as all the facilities of the resort. Meanwhile all this is so close to UK, we can travel door to door in a very short time, with our rented car waiting for us in the Faro car park! Will let you have the details when you contact us!

What makes this property unique

Most of our guests have described our house as a home away from home - with all the facilities and ease of use that any one could expect for most age groups (though not for wheel chairs due to stairs). The well supplied local supermarket is less than 5 minutes away by car and open most days until 8pm and you can easily walk to resort bars, restaurants, golf, tennis, and children's club. In the house, you will find stylish furniture, crisp and fresh bedding and towels, all the mod cons, UK and European TV, high speed WiFi, a very private roof terrace with sun loungers, great location with golf views, private bedrooms opening onto terraces well elevated above ground level, a very quiet area and a great place to enjoy your sunset glass of wine!
