Wonderful older historical building on the edge of laurium, a great location for any interests. The building has been updated to accommodate modern needs but still feels like an “old house” so cool!Our hosts were very helpful and just nice down-home people, hard to find! I am not sure why this place received positive reviews. The porches and floors lean considerably. The outer door did not even open fully. The TV was so cheap it kept dropping connections. It was not the Internet access since I was able to watch on my laptop. In order to get to the second bedroom you have to walk through the bathroom or other bedroom. You could get trapped into the corner bedroom. That is a problem because there is only one bathroom at the top of some steep small stairs.

Hello, I wish you wo have let me know about the internet and concern about the door lock and i would have addressed that for you. The cabin is 120 years old and has some charactoristics that show the age. The front d do op fully howe it do open wide and people bring in equipment Without problems. If it did open up all the way I would have to put a door stop block so it won’t hit the table and chairs behind it. I dont understand why you didnt address your concerns until you left and I sent you a bill for the balance of what you owe for having Extra guests. Then you threatened me w a bad review if I didn’t wave your balalance due. That is no way to handle things. Best wishes

Theresa the host was most helpful and accommodating. We were in Larium for our annual ski trip to Mt. Bohemia and on our second day the area was hit with a blizzard that dropped 18 inches of snow. Theresa had the parking area timely plowed which allowed us to travel. The home itself was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. We recommend this place as a central home base to enjoy the Keweenaw

It was an absolute joy to stay at Theresa's place! We felt right at home. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make many meals there. The area is beautiful and the house itself is on a quiet road. I would stay here again!

We came for a 3 day snowboarding trip. Terese was wonderful, very responsive and friendly. Check in process was easy and the house was beautiful with super unique and fun decor.
