Luxury accommodation situated on Tortuga Beach Resort and Spa, we are second line villa with panoramic sea views. Only steps from the stunning Ponta Preta and Bikini Beach on the Island of Sal. Our luxurious 3 bedroom/3 bathroom villa offers superb accommodation. Your every wish for a holiday villa has been carefully thought out to ensure the most relaxing stay at this beautiful home. The villa is on two levels and has air-conditioning in Master bedroom and Lounge area. The pool and sun terrace are surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and exotic flowers. Also our sister Resort Dunas, (in walking distance) has facilities that can be used.

Great villa and location

Excellent Villa, spacious and clean with ocean views. Owners were extremely helpful and replied to concerns quickly. Great local choice of varied restaurants in the adjoining complexes. Everyone very friendly and helpful.

Great location great property

The villa was well located being one row back from the beach which meant it was not busy and quiet from beach noise. The villa was clean and well equipped. The hotel facilities were very good. Overal good value for money

Villa with sea view

Great place to stay. Clean and tidy on arrival. Darren was very easy to get hold of for information of villa and amenities. Would recommend purchasing a VIP all inclusive pass as this opens up the other three hotels bars restaurants and gyms. We rented a 4g router for our stay as the Tortuga broadband has issues. Would stay again

Beautiful property

Check-in was easy. Villa is in a great location near the beach with fantastic sea views upstairs. Very spacious and modern. In need of a bit of work in places so not 5* like Dubai but this is Africa and if you are not too fussy then you will really enjoy this villa which is great value for money.

Lovely and relaxing

Villa was fantastic. Steps from the beach which was clean and not busy. Cocktails from the resort beach bar were delicious! Only downside was the garden area, the table and chairs were filthy and falling apart. The grass was sparse and very overlooked by neighbouring villas. This did not ruin our holiday though, we still highly recommend! Thank you.

Lovely stay April 2022

Villa is private and has everything you need. The Torgtuga Resort facilities are currently closed but there are still gardening and security staff there. You have access to restaurants and larger pools at the Melia Dunas hotel a few minutes walk away. The area is very safe and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The beach was great, plenty of sunbeds etc. Our preferred supermarket was in Vila Verde (large resort opposite over the road). We hired a car for two weeks but would probably just use taxis in the future as they are plentiful and cheaper. Owner was very helpful and responded promptly to all enquiries. Thank you for a lovely stay, we plan to return !

Nice villa on nice hotel complex

Nice views of the sea from the front terrace for sun all afternoon and sunsets, very close to beach access. There is a nice bar very close on the beach. The cleaners were very nice and helpful. A couple of small issues with property that were not major but could do with rectifying, the rear terrace couldn’t be accessed easily as the door frame has moved so we didn’t use it incase we couldn’t close it again, en-suite sink doesn’t drain fully and en-suite toilet flush stopped working in our second week, it wasn’t an issue as there are 3 bathrooms, we couldn’t get the tvs to work but again we’re on holiday so it didn’t matter.some of the outside furniture needs replacing. But saying all that we had a good time none of it affected our holiday, the hotel complex is nice, it’s a long walk to Santamaría if you like walking you will be fine or get a taxi they are not expensive.

Great well equipped villa

Honesty warning - both good and not so good! The villa is lovely, well equipped and spacious, there were new curtains in most rooms although in my opinion blinds in the bathrooms would be good, as only distorted glass at the moment. The mattress in the Principal bedroom is really comfortable and there is air conditioning in this bedroom and the living room too. The few issues are outside, as the villa's rear garden is overlooked from both sides and from the villa at the rear, which is fine if you don't mind this, but we value our privacy. The private pool is small which is fine and expected but it really could do with a heater. As other people have mentioned the sounds from the Bikini beach bar can be heard from the villa especially the bass sounds , we mostly noticed this,Thursday to Sunday - with Sunday being all day. Again if this doesn't bother you or you like this, then you will be fine. The complex itself was well maintained. When you rent this villa you can also use the restaurants on site, either paying for an all inclusive wrist band for a day or a week at a time or you can pay as you go. The latter is what we did and we had two meals at the Fusion a la carte Restaurant during our 11 day stay, therefore just paying for the meals and drinks that we had. There is supermarket a short walk across the road in Villa Verde which stocks the basics. There is entertainment each night outside the foyer, roughly between 9 and 10 some of these were really very good.

Perfekter Aufenthalt auf SAL

Die Lage der Villa ist ausgezeichnet: 2. Reihe mit Blick auf den Ozean von Zimmer und Balkon auf der 1.Etage. 2 Balkons und ein kleiner Garten mit Pool garantieren einen entspannten Aufenthalt. Alles gepflegt und wird regelmässig gereinigt. Alle Zimmer sind gepflegt und sauber. Die Ausstattung in der Küche erlaubt unabhängige Selbstverpflegung. Herd, Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher. Geschirr und Besteck ausreichend vorhanden. Handtücher und Bettwäsche sauber und in Ordnung. Alle Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels können benutzt werden, was wir aber nicht getan haben.

Nicht so erfreulich wie im letzten Jahr

Im Vergleich zu unserem letzten Aufenthalt in diesem Haus wirkte es abgewohnt und renovierungsbedürftig.Der während unseres Aufenthaltes ausgetauschte Warmwasserboiler funktionierte nicht einwandfrei.Vermieter reagierte nicht auf unsere kritischen Bemerkungen.Es wurde keine Entschädigung für unsere Einschränkungen bezüglich Warmeasserversorgung angeboten.

Nice stay

Het huisje staat op het terrein van een all-inclusive resort, je kan gebruik maken van de faciliteiten, maar is self-catering. Je kan er ook wel eten tegen betaling. Zelf zijn wij meestal naar Santa Maria gegaan 's avonds, taxi telkens €5. Het huisje zelf is zoals in de beschrijving en viel goed mee. Behalve maar warm water in één van de drie douches, en de douche beneden lekt heel erg, waardoor je telkens moet dweilen nadien. Het privé zwembad is klein maar leuk, en heeft een tegenstroom, zodat je toch lekker kan zwemmen. Wij waren, behalve de kleine opmerkingen, heel tevreden!

Even helemaal niets....

Wij hebben 10 dagen optimaal genoten van alles dat het huis van Darren te bieden had. Voordat we aankwamen waren we door het lezen van sommige reviews wat ongerust, maar.... het was fantastisch. Het huis was zeer ruim, schoon en praktisch. Alles was zoals we hoopten. Je kunt natuurlijk altijd moeilijk doen over kleine dingen, maar daar was geen enkele reden toe! Een absolute aanrader en zeurende mensen kunnen beter thuis blijven, want daar lijkt alles beter!

Bon séjour

Bon séjour mis à par la terrasse avec piscine pas profiter table délabrée sale pas envie de manger dessus pelouse pas entretenue donc pas envie de marcher dessus pour accéder à la piscine transats en plastique blanc bof sans coussin piscine exposée à l’ombre climatisation ds la chambre bruyante Concernant les restaurants de l hôtel mais ça ne concerne pas la villa mais très moyen heureusement QI ont a pas pris le all exclusive !! Ont a mangé à l extérieur cela nous a permis de visiter les alentours et aussi moins chère

A really good holiday in spite of closure of hotel facilities

The property is well situated - close to the beach and site swimming pools.(when open). Snorkelling off Bikini beach by the clubhouse is surprisingly good. It was clean, well equipped and with a small but good pool. It has two balconies one catching the morning, and the other the evening sun. The only drawback was that the Tortugua beach complex was closed, and the alternative Dunas resort was almost 1km away. Additionally the management at Dunas Beach were singularly unhelpful - reflected in score on check in. Given the distance to Dunas, and that my wife has limited mobility we hired a car. This was an unplanned expense, but made a huge difference, giving us the freedom to go where we liked, when we liked. Visits to Blue Eye and Shark's Bay were really good, but the off road driving was hairy and stressful. Dining in Santa Maria is very good. Lots of places, some at UK prices, some really good value. Fresh fish from the pier is both good, reasonably priced and great fun A really good holiday in spite of closure of hotel facilities

Spacious, back of the beach, villa

On an all inclusive resort second line from the beach. This modern, well equipped villa was a perfect holiday home. We adored the town of Santa Maria and the beach was quiet with good swimming in a harbour area. The cushions for outdoor seating need to be replaced. But the pool was cleaned daily and it was in a perfect location to enjoy town and beach.

Fijne relax vakantie gehad !

Groot huis, mooi en beschut gelegen vlakbij het strand. Goede inrichting maar zeker niet 'brand new'. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf de slaapkamer en terras op 1e verdieping. Heel kleine douches.

Very clean and comfortable

Property is located in resort 1 min walk to beach front so is ideally located. It is very clean and comfortable. The only downside to property is the toilets are constantly running which needs to be looked at but not a major issue. There is wifi in the villa in ground floor which is slow but useable - bring a booster if u want to extend signal. All utensils/linen provided but you need your own basics - tea/salt/oil etc. We did get bitten by mosquitos so rem. to bring some repellent. The resort is good and majority of staff are very friendly and helpful. We often ate breakfast and used various restaurants - children under 6 eat free - bonus. We used the spa facility where you get 50% off any treatment if you have more than one. Taxis are plentiful and a ride into santa maria town centre for food/shopping is 3/4 euros. There are options of excursions and water sports. Personally i would avoid Tui, Tui do not employ locals i believe and the local companies are just as good if not better not to mention cheaper. The locals rely on tourism as only source of income so they are not well off but they are friendly so rem. to tip when you can if possible.

Wonderful place!

We stayed for 19 days and were looking for peace and quiet and sunshine and that’s exactly what we got! The villa was extremely comfortable and had everything you could possibly need and more. The views of the beach from the front balcony are stunning! Thank you to Darren, Warren and Ali they couldn’t have been more helpful and prompt with questions and correspondence.

Wonderful Villa - everything you need!!

This Villa has an amazing location with spectacular views... couldn’t be better. It has everything you could need for self catering and on a wonderful resort with great facilities. The owners gave us a great deal of information prior to our arrival which assisted us greatly. One word for the Villa, the island and the experience... FABULOUS!!!
