Luxury Holiday Home in York - near award winning "Bishy Road" - with parking!!

Welcome to our beautiful holiday home - the perfect place to explore York and it's surrounding areas.

The holiday home has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (TV in the bath!), a stylish open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area and parking for 2 cars. Free Wi-Fi and smart tv including Netflix. We have furnished our home to the highest standard and added lots of extra touches in order to provide our guests with a place they will want to come back to again and again. We are sure you will feel perfectly at home here. 

**Recently added** Fibre 150 broadband which is the fastest broadband package currently on the market. Perfect for if you're visiting and have multiple devices!

Situated in a quiet residential area just 8-10 minutes walk away (we have timed it!) from the historic city of York, the house could not be in a better location. From just round the corner of the house you can take a walk by the river Ouse, over Skeldergate bridge and you will be in the city in no time at all. The beauty of this location is that it offers you easy access to all of the city's attractions as well as having a quiet retreat to return to at the end of the day. Being slightly away from the city centre, there is no passing traffic near the house so we can guarantee you a good nights sleep during your stay so you can recharge your batteries for the following day! 

Bishopthorpe Road is just at the top of the street - winner of "The Best British High Street 2015" award. On this charming street you will find pubs serving traditional ales, coffee shops, restaurants, bakers, grocery stores, deli's and takeaways as well as specialist shops. 

If you are travelling as a family you will appreciate beautiful Rowntree Park which is only a 5 minute walk away. Here you will find plenty to keep the children entertained  including 2 play areas, basketball courts, duck pond, skate park, tennis courts and the lovely Rowntree Park Reading Café.

Please use black wheelie bin behind the house for rubbish.
For recycling please use the two boxes next to the wheelie bin. One box is for paper and card and the other is for everything else such as tins, plastic bottles, glass bottles and jars.
Please remove any left over food from the fridge.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
The house is situated in a quiet residential area so we kindly ask our guests to respect our neighbours at all times during their stay.

Fabulous accommodation!

The house is beautifully presented, immaculately clean and has a very welcome chilled bottle of wine waiting for the guests in the fridge ( along with 2 pints of milk which is always handy). Being so close to the city centre and with free parking is a huge asset.

Family Trip

This property is amazing and for anyone visiting York a perfect base. Right from the start of booking the owner was extremely helpful and flexible. The location is best of both worlds, Close to the centre but Bishy Road is a gem in itself you wouldnt necessarily come across. The house itself was beautiful with lots of lovely touches and very well stocked. We had an amazing time in this property and will definitely be visiting again. I couldnt recommend more!

We are a family with two children aged 13 and 11. We have had the absolute pleasure of spending many weekends in York between 2015 and 2017 and we are delighted to be offering our much loved home to guests looking for a break in this wonderful city.

Why they chose this property

Our home is suited to families or couples who like a quiet location within easy reach of all the main attractions. We have Bishopthorpe Road just a moments walk away, Rowntree Park and the river Ouse just around the corner and York city centre 8-10 minutes walk away. We just adore this location and we are sure our guests will too!

Quiet, but close to all that York has to offer - It's all about location, location, location! (and parking!! Not easy to find in York!)
