Les Vents Bleus is a pretty whitewashed Breton villa with an enclosed garden. It occupies a truly outstanding location, with uninterrupted views of the sea, and is just two minutes walk from a sheltered beach with rock pools and sand at low tide. The villa is on the outskirts of the village of Roscanvel on the beautiful Crozon peninsula, Parc Regional d’Armorique, and is situated on a quiet road which leads to the viewpoint of the famous Pointe des Espagnols. Many spectacular sandy beaches can be reached in just 10 minute's drive. Various shops and quayside restaurants can be found in the picturesque seaside towns of Morgat and Camaret-sur-Mer, both just 15 minutes drive away. If you enjoy the sea, excellent beaches and the French way of life, Les Vents Bleus will provide you with the perfect get-away.

Wunderbarer Blick aufs Meer

Wir haben die Zeit in diesem Haus sehr genossen. Der Verkehr auf der Straße vor dem Haus ist uns nicht negativ aufgefallen, und die paar Leute, die auf dem kleinen Weg hinter dem Haus zum Strand laufen, konnten uns auch nicht stören. Insgesamt viel Platz, eine gute und große Küche, das Badezimmer mit Dusche ist nicht das schönste, aber es ist in Ordnung. Die Gartenterrasse haben wir täglich vom Frühstück bis zum abendlichen Grillen genutz. Man sollte nicht vergessen, am Montag Abend die Mülltonnen rauszustellen, sonst haben die Nachmieter ein großes Problem (so ist es uns ergangen). Der Blick auf die Bucht, in der es ständig was zum sehen gibt, und dazu die Sonne, die auf die Terasse und durch die Fenster scheint, sind für uns Grund genug, beim nächsten mal wieder dieses Haus zu wählen. Dazu kommt der kurze Fußweg an den Strand, der durch den großen Gezeitenunterschied jedes mal anders aussieht. Und zu guter letzt ist die Lage sehr gut, da man mit dem Auto innerhalb von 20 Minuten mehrere schöne kleine Städtchen und drei große schöne Strände erreichen kann. Auch Wanderungen mit fantastischem Blick und Besuch vieler Festungsanlagen sind vom Haus aus möglich. Nur unsere Fahrräder (keine E-Bikes) hätten wir zuhause lassen können. Für die vielen Steigungen waren wir dann doch zu unsportlich. Insgesamt volle Punktzahl!

... die inserierten Fotos schienen diesbezüglich alle Urlaubstraeume zu erfuellen... Jedoch liegt die Sitzecke (mit Blick aufs Meer) ohne nennenswerten Sichtschutz an der Straße, die zu einem bekannten Aussichtspunkt führt. Balkon-seitig verläuft der m. W. einzige Fahrweg zum Strand des Ortes. Lässt man den Blick auf ein wenig attraktives Nachbargrundstueck und die Militär- Anlage am gegenüber liegenden Ufer ausser acht, ist der Meerblick tatsächlich wie auf dem Foto. Der Garten ist zum Verweilen wenig attraktiv. Die sanitären Anlagen sind bzgl. Lage und Ausstattung recht individuell. Bettwäsche kann man mieten, Badehandtuecher nicht. Auch gegen Aufpreis wird (wie andernorts üblich) keine Endreinigung angeboten. Also macht man den Gast quasi zu seiner "femme de menage".

Proche des sites à voir tout en étant tranquille avec une vue sur la rade de Brest. Nous avons fait un très bon séjour. Petits points négatifs La maison est très humide en bas (chambre), elle mériterait un entretien plus approfondi (avec le jardin). Très bonne réactivité du "concierge" : il manquait les serviettes de toilette que nous avons réclamées, elles ont été apportées très rapidemment.

Bon séjour, maison bien équipée, agréable sauf pour la salle de bains et la douche. Il n’y a pas assez de petites cuillères. La gouttière au-dessus du balcon et la porte au rez-de-jardin doivent être réparées. Le livret d’accueil est uniquement en anglais.

Vue mer incroyable et calme assuré

Nous avons pu profiter d'une vue magnifique tout en étant à quelques pas d'une petite plage (galets) non touristique et à proximité de sites à visiter. La maison est bien équipée, facile d'accès, spacieuse et nous avons bénéficier d'une attention de bienvenue très apprécié, merci Annabel. Néanmoins, grande déception quant à la clôture qui est, pour une partie très basse et naturelle. (peut être à préciser dans l'annonce). Elle n'est pas adaptée aux chiens. Nous n'avons pas pu laisser notre chienne en liberté dans le jardin même en notre présence, ce qui fut une contrainte malheureusement durant notre séjour.

des choses à rectifier

maison moyennement propre à l'arrivée, sentant le renfermé. divers ampoules ou lampes HS. jardin sans entretien. le jardin était annoncé comme clos (c'etait un de nos critères) en fait le grillage (de 50cm) était défoncé de partouit et meme dangereux par endroit. trou dans la gouttière juste au dessus de l'entrée (en Bretagne c'est désagréable). les escaliers sont très raides.

I am married with two sets of twins and live in Surrey. I have always loved France and our holiday villa, Les Vents Bleus, has given me an excuse to brush up on my French.

I am always happy to advise our holidaymakers on the house and how things work and to recommend interesting places to visit and things to do on the beautiful Presqu'ile de Crozon.

We spend a lot of time making sure the house has everything a holidaymaker might need and always review our visitor books for comments and suggestions. It's hugely satisfying to know people have enjoyed staying in our house and the high number of repeat bookings is proof of its enduring appeal.

Why they chose this property

Two minute walk to a quiet, protected beach. During our first holiday to Roscanvel we fell in love with the area and decided to buy a holiday house there. With our two sets of twins being only aged 4 and 2 at the time, we wanted a house with all the modern conveniences and with the potential for fun packed holidays, then and in the future.
When we saw Les Vents Bleus we fell in love with the spectacular sea views, tranquillity and the close proximity of a pretty cove , which is perfect for swimming. There are many beautiful sandy beaches in the local area, whether you want to body board, surf, snorkel or rock pool and plenty of walks across rugged cliff tops, past forts and landmarks. Nearby Camaret and Morgat are picturesque small seaside towns with many excellent restaurants and shops.

What makes this property unique

The view from the balcony of Les Vents Bleus is truly spectacular, and there is nothing nicer than sitting with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, watching the boats and the occasional submarine!
Les Vents Bleus is ideally located for exploring the Presqu'ile de Crozon, a protected area of natural beauty. It is perfect for a family holiday or for a relaxing break to 'get away from it all.'
The house is very well equipped, with a high standard of furnishings, décor and modern conveniences. We also have a number of original artworks on the walls.
Our kayak is available for hire and many of our guests have enjoyed using this on the local beach.
The house is a 50-minute drive from Brest airport, 1 hour 45 from Roscoff, 3 hours from St Malo and 5 hours from Caen or Cherbourg.
