Set in an exclusive all year round location our beautiful villa with home comforts at Lacanau Ocean is generously furnished for your holiday and fully equipped with large sofas, upstairs carpeting and comfy beds. It has two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two singles. Both have carpets and are cosily furnished.

The setting places you within the unique environment of the wooded park surrounding the Garden Golf, amongst the scented pines. You are perfectly situated for the beaches, lakes, forest paths and, of course, the golf. For couples seeking a peaceful relaxing get away from it all this is an ideal location where pretty much anything you like to do on holiday is available. If you are a golfer we are moments walk from the first tee, but if you aren't a golfer the beautiful golf course location is select and peaceful. The scent of the pines and the sound of the ocean immediately captivates you when you arrive. Then you can enjoy the seaside, the golfing, surfing, lakes, sandy lake beaches, pool, cycling, walking, tennis, riding, casino, wine tours. We are situated only forty minutes drive from Bordeaux Merignac airport. just to tell you a little more about our premium golf course setting, moments walk to the first tee, club house and hotel of Golfing D'Ardilouse (open to all, you don't need to be a golfer) one of France's top class golf courses. Three courses to choose from, a challenging 18 hole, full length 9 hole plus par 3 courses. Golf school and two driving ranges and practice areas (one is just a few steps from our house). Shared pool open June to September. Easy access to many other sporting facilities including stunning lakeside beaches, surfing, body boarding, canoeing, kayaking, horse riding. Use vast network of cycle paths or walk through scented pines to reach beaches and the picturesque surfing seaside resort of Lacanau ocean with its pavement cafes, weekly market, patisserie, oyster bars, artisan shops and bars. Half an hour drive to Bordeaux's vineyards. Visit beautiful historic Bordeaux, take an outing to visit the traditional oyster villages of the Bassin D'Arcachon and climb the Pilat Dune, the highest dune in Europe. You will find activities to suit every taste and every age all close by. Please ask about extra such as body boards, bikes and golf clubs available to borrow at no additional cost.

Wohnen unter Pinien

Ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, in dem wir uns sofort zu Hause gefühlt haben. Liegen auf der Terrasse, Fahrräder und Boards zum Wellenreiten vorhanden. In 10 Minuten per Fahrrad durch duftende Pinienwälder zum Strand und der sehr einladenden Restaurant- und Shoppingmeile. Es war ein rundum wundervolles Ferienerlebnis, inklusive Ausflügen nach Bordeaux und Ile d'Oleron. Guter Kontakt zu den Gastgebern. Wir wollen unbedingt wieder hin.

Schönes Häuschen zwischen Meer uns Seeen.

Wir hatten tolle Tage in dem liebevoll eingerichteten Haus von Carolyn. Ab der ersten Minute fühlten wir uns wohl und konnten unseren Urlaub sehr genießen. Mit dem Fahrrad kurz zum Bäcker, ans Meer oder an den See. Das Haus steht in einer schönen Gegend von Lacanau-Ocean. Im Haus fehlt es an NICHTS. Zu unserer Urlaubsausrüstung für Ferienhäuser gehören immer große Gläser und Tassen, scharfe Messer und ein Mixer. Das alles war diesmal vorhanden :-) Auch die Terrassenmöbel sind sehr bequem. Vielen Dank für einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Lacanau in der Nähe des Golfplatz

Das Haus liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Golfplatz im Pinienwald, es ist sehr schön eingerichtet mit 2 Schlafzimmern, Wohnzimmer, Küche, Bad und eine kleine Terrasse. Es ist alles da, was man üblicherweise benötigt. Toll auch die mögliche Benutzung von den Fahrrädern, Bodyboards und Golfschlägern ( sogar für Linkshänder !). Der Gemeinschaftspool ist erfrischend und lädt zum Schwimmen ein. Lacanau Ocean ist in 7 min mit dem Fahrrad leicht zu erreichen. Man kann in der Umgebung sämtliche Sportarten betreiben, insbesondere Surfen, Fahrrad fahren, Schwimmen im Pool oder Meer, Kanu fahren oder Kytesurfen, Paddeln, Reiten und noch vieles mehr. Auch der nahegelegenen See bietet dabei viel Möglichkeiten. Wir sind zum wiederholten Mal in Lacanau und genießen es jedes Mal aufs Neue . Herzlichen Dank an Carolyn für die schöne Zeit und den besonders netten Kontakt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war sehr gut und freundlich. Das Haus ist bis auf die Beleuchtung gut eingerichtet, es fehlten jedoch vernünftige Leselampen. Die Einrichtung insgesamt ist in Ordnung, etwas altmodisch. Das Fahrrad könnte eine Beleuchtung und einen Fahrradständer haben. Der Urlaub hat mir gut gefallen. Vielen Dank!

My husband Steve and I bought the house in Lacanau Ocean in 2005 It just happened that we got the keys on our silver wedding anniversary so it has always been a very special place to us. Since then we have had so many wonderful holidays there, at least five trips a year, often enjoyed with family and friends. We lived in south west London for thirty years and have a grown up daughter and son. We have come to love France so much that in 2012 we took the plunge to move here permanently and now live just under two hours drive from Lacanau Ocean. We look after the house ourselves and, although we often don't actually meet our guests from Owners direct, we find it so rewarding. We love hearing about people's holidays in Lacanau.

Why they chose this property

We chose our holiday home because we wanted to be very close to the sea and we also love the close proximity of the stunning string of lakes and the fact that you can do pretty much anything you like to do on vacation in this amazing holiday location. The exclusive setting in the scented pine forests gives that sense of coming away into a completely separate world. We also love the freedom of using the cycle paths to get around. On a bike you can ride down the path at the back of the house and be on the beach in around ten minutes (depending on how fast you ride). It's walkable too, around forty minutes stroll through pine shaded paths. In the other direction you have a string of stunning lakes, with sandy beaches for gentle swimming. Our son is a surfer and Lacanau ocean hosts an annual surf competition.

What makes this property unique

We bought the house when it was just in the early construction stage because we fell in love with the beautiful and unique setting. This is a modern, open plan holiday home set in a mature, pine forest location It is an easy to live in, comfortable, relaxing home from home furnished stylishly and generously. Easy access to beaches, lakes, and forest cycle paths You will love the shared pool only a few steps from the house. Outdoors there is a small garden at the front and sliding doors from your living room lead to terrace and garden at the back.
If you should happen to be a golfer you can walk from the house to the free golf practice range. Golfers will find three beautiful courses, the "Golfing d'Ardilouse is one of the top sixty rated french courses. The club house and hotel are close to the house and have good restaurants. It is a challenging course but you can also choose to play the full length separate nine hole course, or there is a pitch and putt with a golf school. No need for a car for any golfing.
