Excellent location, beautiful large property with great amenities!

A really great property, huge spaces and great location and views from the roofs. The welcome pack was a lovely touch especially as we arrived very late at night. Provision of towels for the beach also great and cut down on our packing! The internal stairs are quite steep, the 6 year old with us coped fine but those with younger children should be aware its something to consider. Definitely will stay again!

Old Town Kalkan

We have returned from our stay at Eskı Koy Evı, Old Town, Kalkan. We were a group of 4 adults and we had plenty of room at the property. It is ideally situated for getting out and about on the old town and down to the harbour. The roof terrace and pool were very useful and the views at sunset amazing. Although in the Old town we were not bothered by any noise from music or the many roof restaurants that were nearby. All the facilities were in great condition and the property manager was very helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Luxury and Location

This is the perfect combination of an old building in the old town, but with a modern interior which the owners have obviously spent a lot of time getting right. It's very comfortable and also unbelievably quiet for somewhere right slap bank in the middle of everything. To get to one of the beach clubs we would just walk four minutes down to the harbour and ask the water taxi to take us. To get to the restaurants took us all of about two minutes. Again, great location and great comfort.

A home from home in the sun...

What a fantastic holiday. Our thanks go to Julia and Brian Tant for letting us stay in their beautiful house. We were only a short walk down the lane to the beach and 2 minutes from the restaurants and shops in the Old Town, but in a very quiet, peaceful location, could not have been better. The house itself is spacious and comfortable and is fully air conditioned, if felt like home from home. The views from the 2 roof terraces looking out to sea and the harbour are spectacular, one with comfortable seating, umbrellas and plunge pool. The other has sunbeds, barbecue, dining table and chairs. We took full advantage of the terraces in the evening enjoying a relaxing drink watching the sun go down. The bedrooms are all ensuite with very comfortable beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, dishwasher, microwave and large fridge plus a dining table which seats 8. The sitting room is very comfortable with two 3 seater sofas and 2 armchairs, TV and DVD. They really have thought of everything. Thanks once again for letting us share your wonderful home in beautiful Kalkan, can't wait to go back.

perfect!!

We’ve just returned from a lovely week long holiday in kalkan and we miss it already! What a relaxing week and Where do you start with this property! It has everything you need to have a holiday that’s a home from home. Great comfortable bedrooms, a wonderful kitchen that has everything you need, a lovely lounge perfect to relax in after a busy day, beautiful views from the rooftop that are just perfect for an evening tipple or pre dinner get together and even a fridge on the roof so you don’t need to traipse downstairs to refill your glass!!! Having air conditioning in the rooms is a god send and the downstairs courtyard is a wonderful spot to escape the sunshine and watch the world go by. The rooftop plunge pool was just the icing on an already pretty spectacular cake. With the town on your doorstep you are only ever a stones throw from a fantastic restaurant or cocktail bar. So much choice and so many varieties of food to choose from. We ate out most evenings and were never disappointed. there are some lovely restaurants and coffee shops that have popped up in the streets behind the house which are certainly worth a try, The people could not have been more welcoming and my daughter was in her element with all the fuss and attention she received :) We can’t wait to go back and experience all over again everything that kalkan and this beautiful house have to offer.

Fantastic house in central location

From my initial enquiry to leaving after my holiday , Emma was great with dealing with any questions . The house itself is literally 60 seconds walk to all the amazing restaurants in Kalkan town . The photos don’t do it justice . It’s very spacious and surprisingly quiet even though it’s right in centre of town . The roof terrace is very big and ideal for sunbathing . I would not hesitate to stay in this property again , I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and can’t wait to return !

Great house great location

Eski koy evi is a real gem in the heart of the old town. The house is tastefully decorated throughout, well equipped and provides very generous accommodation for a large group. On our arrival there was a small selection of breakfast items which saved us a shopping trip after a long drive. The upper terrace and plunge pool are the real highlight, where we spent most of our evenings sipping wine and watching the beautiful sunset. We will definitely return!

A fantastic town house in the old town. Perfectly situated within walking distance of the restaurants, bars, beachfront but in a quiet backstreet location. The property was perfect for our family and tastefully decorated throughout. The highlight was the roof terrace and plunge pool. Perfect spot for sundowners! We will definitely be back!

Perfect house in perfect location

We absolutely LOVED staying at Eski Koy Evi! The house met all our needs and more. It's in a wonderful easy location close to all Kalkan has to offer but tucked away in a quiet little street. We were really looked after and nothing was too much trouble for the owners and Zeki who looked after us whilst we were there. Couldn't recommend this house enough! Thank you! Can't wait to return!

A wonderfully luxurious fortnight.

Eski Koy Evi was everything we could have wished for. It is very well equipped and immaculately cleaned and maintained. Evenings on the roof terraces with wonderful views of the bay were a real highlight. Even with 8 souls (us oldies and our children (23, 21 and 19) with friends) there was plenty of space and nobody got under each others feet. The location is perfect too. A very short walk from the bustling town, but tucked away enough to be peaceful. BTW, Kalkan is the perfect holiday location - wonderful beach resorts, boats trips, great restaurants and bars - dreamy. A week after we go back we booked Eski Koy Evi again for next year.

Beautiful house in a great central location.

We stayed in this beautiful house for a week starting 13th June 2016. It was our fifth year in Kalkan, we have stayed in villas either side of the bay, but preffered this central location. The weather was very hot so the plunge pool was very welcome. To anyone who hasn't stayed in Kalkan before don't be put off by the location of this house as it's very quiet, and great to be able to walk to the fantastic restaurants and bars, literally minutes away. Wonderful home away from home

We had the most wonderful holiday. The house and location was fantastic, close to restaurants, shops and the beach. You could not ask for a better place to stay. The house had everything needed to make the holiday even better it was comfortable, luxurious and clean. Sitting on the roof terrace and watching the sunset over the mountains and having a view of the ocean was certainly a highlight for us. Hi Emma Glad you gave us the opportunity to stay in your house, the description of the layout,and all the facilities was very accurate. We found when we arrived the property was very clean and well maintained. We would recommend this property to any of our friends and family,and the management provided an excellent customer service. This was to be a very relaxing holiday for us,so did not do many activities just went to Patara beach on two occasions. Our favourite restaurants are the Salonika, Beorginvile and the Nar,we also go in the Merket ,Mini Bar and Botanical Garden. Very impressive and superbly furnished Town House

We had a lovely week in the Old Town and enjoyed excellent weather. We have been to Kalkan several years now so enjoyed most of our favourite restaurants all on our doorstep. We liked being so close for the amenities and could not fault the accommodation, we did find the closeness of some of the nearby rooftops a little off putting when sunbathing on the roof terrace but overall had a superb week. Nothing not to like about this fabulous house

There is nothing not to like about Eski Köy Evi. The property itself is fantastic and truly is a home from home with everything you could possibly need. Many a time I have been to a holiday home and there have been basics missing, such as oven gloves or a bottle opener but not this time. Everything has been thought of to ensure you don't have to! The renovations are amazing and the glass roof in the sitting room is a fabulous addition to the property and gives you a little bit of outside inside. Whoever thought of putting a fridge on the roof terrace is a genius as there would be nothing worse than having to go back down the stairs to top up your G&T! The outside areas have something for everyone with the downstairs court yard being mostly in the shade and the roof top terrace being a perfect sun trap with the added bonus of a plunge pool to cool off. The house is in a brilliant location in Kalkan and everything is only a short walk away. We found some lovely cocktail bars, Black and Gold being one, and had an amazing dinner in Gourmet which you can actually see from the roof top! The beach club Indigo was great, although our visit there was cut short by bad weather unfortunately. There are a lot of steps and hills around Kalkan so my legs got a good work out but that was probably just as well with all the yummy restaurants and cafes so close by! I have already told everyone back home what a fantastic house this is and what a great area Kalkan is. I hope to be back :)

A holiday to remember

We have just spent an amazing week in this beautiful house in a quiet backstreet. It is centrally positioned in the old town - ideal for eating, drinking, shopping and swimming- everything is on your doorstep. The house has been thoughtfully and successfully renovated to a very high standard of comfort as have the sunny roof terraces and shady garden patio. We have no hesitation in recommending this lovely holiday property. Many thanks to the owners for a happy and memorable holiday.

Sun, sun, sun ... fun !

Having been to Kalkan several times, we are fans ! This house is a winner on all counts - firstly, it's a beautiful house ; then, it's in a perfect spot and enjoys a lovely, central atmosphere. We will be going again and would thoroughly recommend it. We did not see a cloud for 16 days ... and had a wonderful time.

Perfect Location for Kalkan

We had a wonderful stay at Eski Koy Evi. We had visited Kalkan before and stayed near the old town, but further up the big hill! We loved being in the old part of town, very handy for all the shops and restaurants, and Eski Koy Evi was as well positioned for this as could be, and yet quiet in the pedestrian only area. The views over the surrounding restaurants and habour from the roof terrace was very special. The house was lovely and well provided for. The roof terraces were great - it was good to have such a variety of places to sit and lie. The plunge pool was most welcome (but do note it is not a swimming pool). Dealing with Emma when booking was very reassuring and she was very helpful at every step of the way, including putting us in touch with friendly car hire people for airport collection and drop-off which couldn't have been more convenient. We only saw Sharon and Rambo at the beginning of our stay. They seemed very happy to help. We would definitely go back to Kalkan and to this house. Thank you.

I was one of 7 friends who visited this wonderful property in the best of best locations in Kalkan old town - half way between the harbour and the Main Street. It is a wonderfully equipped place where 8 people can have plenty of personal space, have a 'home from home' with top quality accommodation and equipment. This property has a wonderfully felt and real sense of space and comfort and peace.

Eski Koy Evi in Kalkan

This was our second stay at Eski Koy Evi and standards had not dropped. In fact, there were even more facilities at this beautiful house, with an excellent location, walkable to the 100 or more restaurants in Kalkan. The owners have thought of everything and are updating and renewing all the time, it seems. Lots of stairs and hills to climb, so not perfect for very young children or anyone infirm, but perfect for most others ! House was serviced three times in our 2.5 week stay and maintenance company were very efficient and helpful. We used the local (walkable to) beach and the superb beach at Patara (about 15 mins by taxi), aswell as the very local Beach Club Indigo, where the local people were so friendly and welcoming. We had a great holiday (6 of us) and would thoroughly recommend this gorgeous house in the unspoiled town of Kalkan - long may it continue ................

We are a family of five and stayed here late in August. All of our three daughters had been in less than a few minutes before various pictures of the house were viral on their various social media with comments such as "amazing" and "paradise". Their first impressions sum up our opinion of this house ! Fabulously located, beautifully decorated and superbly equipped, everything is of a very high standard and this all made for a lovely stay in a beautiful little town with a stunning bay, with great days out and fun evenings on the terraces. We would recommend this house to anybody who asked and are likely to return ourselves. We hope that you decide to visit and then enjoy it as much as we did. Ian, Jo and girls

Absolutely Fabulous

The Old Village House is truly a gem. 50 yards from Kalkan Old Town's Main Street but a haven of tranquility. It has been lovingly restored by the owners and is beautifully presented with all mod cons. We have visited Kalkan many times and have never stayed in a nicer property. I would not hesitate to recommend it. Emma, the owners' daughter handled our transfers very efficiently and was extremely helpful and quick to respond to email correspondence.

A fantastic place to stay!

I would wholeheartedly recommend this house for a holiday. It is a very well furnished large house and feels very comfortable. Full air conditioning throughout with beautiful decor. The outside relaxing or dining possibilities are numerous with 3 terraces to choose from. The location is absolutely ideal with just a short walk to the sea front and harbour. The old town is right on the doorstep and there are numerous restaurants to choose from! We loved 'The Fish Terrace and Meze' restaurants. Also 'The Small House' restaurant looked fabulous but was needing to be booked a month in advance to have the unique balcony experience and even indoors was booked a week in advance so best to take a chance and prebook before you go! The house was close enough to be accessible to everything but was quiet at night as a little way from the centre which was just ideal. The house is looked after by Sharon and Rami and they were lovely people who were really helpful when we needed them but did not intrude in our privacy at all. Kalkan is a great place and this house is a superb place to enjoy it. (Probably not ideal for very young children or if accessibility is an issue due to the steps)
