Booking process was excellent with Ray the owner coming back very efficiently. Melanie the property manager wasn’t available on arrival to greet us but was able to take our calls when required. Unfortunately the key to an outside gate broke and we were made pay for the replacement even though it was obvious there was issues with the lock prior. The accommodation itself was very comfortable but a long walk (approx 2km) to the complex centre. The nearby pool was comfortable and large, enjoyed by all.

Mooi huis, wel een paar tegenvallers

Wij hadden de woning voor 10 dagen geboekt. Prima woning alleen aan de rand van het resort, waardoor je voor alles de auto nodig had. Aangezien er geen ligbedden bij de zwembaden zijn en luchtbedden enz niet toegestaan zijn, moest je alles steeds meenemen waardoor je wel met de auto moest gaan. Bedden waren prima, schoonmaak liet te wensen over. Ik heb 1 keer gekookt en toen viel het vet van de afzuigkap in het eten, waardoor ik weer opnieuw kon beginnen. De airco in 1 van de slaapkamers werkte niet baar behoren, verder waren er veel vliegen in de omgeving. Resort op zich was wel heel mooi maar echt te afgelegen. Uiteindelijk zijn wij na 5 dagen weggegaan.

A great villa in which to relax whilst exploring the local areas and beaches

The whole process to enquire, book and arrive was completely transparent and well managed by Ray. This villa is well positioned on the resort and easily accessed once you understand the layout of the resort and the various roads. Better to come in via the back gate of the resort. Inside is very well equipped and the TV system is second to none for television and movies. Great kitchen and equipment. The outdoor space is good and you can dodge the sun given the availability of the gazebo. The nearest swimming pool is five minutes walk or 2 in the car!! Used the car due to sun. Since it was only my wife and I staying; we had a huge amount of space and even if there was to be 4 adults staying there is enough room for private time etc Travelling around is very easy and the best beach at Torre de la Horadada is only 25 mins away. Murcia and Cartagena are easy drives for a fuller day out. Shop and restaurants on site are good and well used which speaks volumes. We do not play golf so cannot comment on the course -- appeared well used. The new Murcia Airport opening in in 2019 will be 15 mins away so a real bonus. We would have no hesitation in recommending the villa and the support and communications from Ray.

Toller Familienurlaub

Wir hatten einen wirklich tollen Urlaub mit unseren zwei Kindern in dieser Golf-Anlage. Das Haus hält, was die Fotos versprechen. Zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer, ein edles Wohnzimmer, Klimaanlage, moderne Küche mit Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle und zwei Bäder. Aber das beste ist die überdachte Terrasse mit dem Garten. Selbst an heißesten Tagen konnten wir dort unsere Zeit verbringen, wenn wir nicht gerade an einem der zahlreichen Pools oder am Strand waren. Die Dachterrasse ist leider nicht überdacht, weswegen wir sie nie benutzt haben. Die Pools sind sehr unterschiedlich gebaut und haben verschiedene Wassertiefen, daher ist es sinnvoll zu testen, welcher am besten zu den eigenen Bedürfnissen passt. Die Strände bei "Torre de la Horarda" sind alle hell und feinsandig und das Meer fällt flach ab. Strandkioske und Sanitäranlagen sind vorhanden, nur Duschen fehlen leider. Erstaunlicherweise gibt es keine Strandpromenade, quasi keine Touristen-Shops und auch Restaurants fehlen in Strandnähe gänzlich. Murcia und Cartagena sind definitiv jeweils einen Tagesausflug wert - vielleicht sogar zwei! Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in dem Haus und können dieses uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Great property would benifit from a pool.

Enjoyed the area ideal for going up and down the costa blanca from here, the clubhouse with restaurant and shop were very handy, if you play golf its ideal. The house has all the amenities you need and a nice rear garden to relax in. We had a problem with the boiler although this repaired by the contact person on site. Would recommend this property for a holiday, suit families.

Super villa!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely, well equipped villa. Everything about it was as described and it was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The rooms were spacious and we much appreciated the super outdoor area. The wifi and tv were excellent. The resort itself was clean and well maintained and the large pool was around 6 mins walk from the villa which was much needed because of the scorching heat! You definitely need a car to visit the main towns of Murcia and Cartahenga and the coast at Los Alcazares, but everything is within around a 15 -30 min drive away so it's really no hassle. The shopping mall at San Javier was also great and a welcome relief from the heat. Thanks to Ray and Melanie who made us very welcome and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Very nice villa with all comfort

It is a very nice villa with all comfort. Well equipped with a very good taste. There is everything in the kitchen to have a great holiday. We did walks around the golf courses. There are 2 tennis courts that you can use as you wish. The pool is very large and not crowded. We had a great family holiday with memories. Thank you so much ray

Nice house, quality furniture and kitchen. Nice pool on resort, quiet. Unfortunately was the bedroom on photo's with television closed because of privacy. Understandable but don't put pictures on website if people cannot use the room

Comfortable, clean and spacious

This is a very well equipped villa. Comfortable beds, comfortable seating indoors and outdoors make it a great place for just hanging around or for coming back to. It is exactly how it is portrayed online. There are two bathrooms, one with a large walk in shower, and one is en-suite to the main bedroom. Hairdryer provided. Both bedrooms overlook the back garden and are therefore quiet. There is both central heating and air conditioning throughout, depending on the season. The kitchen is great, with a gas hob (my preference) and which is unusual to find. The kitchen is stylish and has everything you could possibly need. It was nice to start our stay with dish-washer tablets and then replenish them,rather than to have to begin from scratch. Getting rid of the suitcases in an under-the-stairs storage facility cut down on personal clutter. Two large built in wardrobes in each bedroom with plenty of hangers also contributed to this. Television with English channels and wifi are freely available which was nice. Do remember your adaptors! There is parking directly in front of the house on an off road drive-way and there's plenty of parking on the street and nearby. Location is close to the back gate of La Torre and therefore is close to some restaurants in Roldan and Balsicas. Note that the Jaipur Indian restaurant has a shuttle bus into La Torre if you don't want to drive. One of the many large swimming pools is about 5 minutes on foot as is a tennis court. The Spar supermarket on site is either a short cycle ride or five minutes in the car. I thought that Ray was very straightforward and easy to deal with and his key-holder Melanie met us at the front gate and showed us in. I would highly recommend Ray's property and La Torre. The clubhouse serves food until 6pm and the Italian restaurant opens at 7pm. Then there's Pino's bar and the Irish bar as well. If you play golf - that's a bonus!!

Murcia is a largely unspoiled region with a wonderful climate and the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor.
The area contains many lively market towns with great local produce, as well as the historic cities of Cartegena and Murcia with their shopping, and plentiful tapas bars and restaurants.
Inland there is the great walking and trekking area of Sierra Espuna National Park.

What makes this property unique

The property is in a peaceful part of the La Torre Golf Resort, but conveniently located close to a large shared pool and tennis courts and the site supermarket, bank, shops, bars and restaurants.
The villa is large and spacious and offers a private garden and wonderful outdoor living area, including covered gazebo.
