Check in was fast and easy, the front desk was very helpful. The room is small and could use a little updating for some people. We, just myself and husband, were fine with it, we just wanted somewhere to sleep while in Hawaii. It was clean and all the appliances we used worked. The building was quiet. The portable air conditioner in the room was a little loud but kept the room cool. We would definitely stay here again!
This was a beautiful place to stay, clean and very close to everything. We can’t wait to comeback next year. Would like to have talked to a actual person more but other than that it was awesome!! 5star service!!!
Convenient location on the edge of the city chaos, simple studio, quiet, with easy access to the University, and one block from the beach. Mark was responsive and easy to work with. Exactly what we needed! Thanks!!
The property has a great location, was clean, and great communication! The only downside, it desperately needs blackout curtains! The window looks out to other rooms that are accessed from outdoor hallways, so the light from there just beams into the room. There are vertical blinds, but they don’t help much. Even with the blinds closed light illuminates the room through the gaps and from behind. If you plan to stay here, DO NOT forget an eye mask for sleeping.
Although we still don't understand how the entire system of renting accommodation in Honolulu works, this does not diminish the fact that the accommodation more than met our expectations. We knew that our accommodation didn't have a view of the ocean, which actually didn't matter to us because it was only for sleeping, but the service itself was top notch. From the reception, to communication, and individual suggestions of what to visit. The accommodation is terribly clean, some defects that we read that the accommodation has, have been fixed. One of the best things about us is definitely the terrace with a view of Diamond Head, while you will find absolutely everything nearby and everything is at your fingertips. Just words of praise and recommendations!

Location of property was great. Close to the beach and within walking distance to anything you could possibly need. Check in was super quick and easy. The unit had everything you needed for your stay including beach chairs and umbrellas. The room however could use improvements. The room itself was small which you could see from the pictures on the listing. What you couldn’t see was the condition the room was in. Everything was fixed with caulking. It was hard to tell if the room was actually clean due to the quality of the repairs done in the room. The areas with caulking looked dirty but it could have been discolouration of the caulking. There were dust bunnies hanging from the ceiling, the bathroom door was pretty sketchy and the shower was not great. The shower head was so low my husband had to duck down in order to wash his hair. Overall we were disappointed with the room and would have stayed elsewhere if we could have received a refund. We were not expecting a 5 star place, we knew we booked a simple accommodation. The room however did not even reach simple standards.

Fantastic Location For The Price
Again, fantastic location for the price. The apartment was extremely dated and run down. Cupboards falling apart, panels missing from the blinds (causing it to seem like its daylight throughout the night because of exterior lights). Bed was comfy, pillows not at all. The Host was very helpful and accommodating. I would stay there again for the location and price.
Bring an eye mask! Many sections of the vertical blinds are missing, and the outside lights are so bright it feels like 2pm at 2am.
Location, front desk agents as well as the 10th floor patio are the best part of this unit!
We stayed for 2 weeks and could have used a couple basic cleaning tools to help keep the unit clean. Broom and dustpan would be appreciated. As well TV placement makes it impossible to eat at the table without moving table and chairs each time. Very small things, we would stay in this building again. You are in Hawaii- not too many things can make the holiday that bad.
Everything was wonderful. Just a couple of comments. Bathroom cabinet was broken. Very few dishes. Only one coffee mug and it was chipped. Could use better window coverings.

Location is great! View from the deck is amazing. Room is simple, but cute and well equipped. Would come back
This is very centrally located with a great upper balcony for views. The unit is pretty small but we hardly spent any time there anyways! Would definitely stay here again.
Generally happy with the unit. Definitely needs new blockout curtains. Hot water was average. Kitchen was great. Love the location. Will always return to the Waikiki Grand.

Nice enough
Great location. Convenient. Super close to beach, restaurants, stores, public transportation. Had everything we needed. But.....room was very small. AC was kind of loud and ran all day/night and would only cool the place to 72 which didn't feel real cool. And the curtains were sheer which let in all the night parking lot lights and morning sunlight.
But for the price and location and overall it's worth it

Great!
We enjoyed our vacation with my husband. The apartment is in a good condition, it has everything we needed for our stay, we never had any problems while staying there. And location is wonderful! We could walk everywhere we wanted, even "Diamond head"! Beaches, mountains, shopping centers, restaurants, whatever you want is so close! We would like to visit Honolulu again. Thank you Mark!

Clean, comfortable apartment in great location
I stayed here for 6 weeks and really enjoyed the apartment. It is a nice size and well-maintained. Mark was easy to contact and quick to respond to questions. The location is close to restaurants, shopping, and the beach, and the bus runs very often and stops right by the Waikiki Grand. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend it.
