EMERALD SKYE - BEAUTIFUL GULF FRONT CONDO & CLOSE TO EVERYTHING IN ORANGE BEACH!

YOU WON'T FIND A MORE BEAUTIFUL VIEW IN ORANGE BEACH!
Our condo is located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is only a few steps behind the condo. Emerald Skye is a low density building ( 37 units). Even in the summer the beach is not crowded like the big high rises. The condo is conveniently located in the heart of Orange Beach and within walking distance on the beach to Coastal restaurant and shops. Cotton's Restaurant, an Orange Beach tradition, is just across the street.
Additionally, it is less than 1/2 mile from three grocery stores and two pharmacies.
'Our Little Get-A-Way' is perfect for a couple or small family to get away for a few days or few weeks! Our condo is on the second floor, so you will not have to wait for an elevator. Enjoy the panoramic views of the Gulf from the living area and large private balcony.

From the moment you open the door you will know this is not an ordinary rental unit. We love the condo and consider it our second home. The large balcony is comfortably furnished for relaxing and enjoying the view. We even have a table for two for romantic evening dinners!

The condominium is very nicely furnished and decorated. The living area is very comfortable and has a 50 inch screen TV and DVD player.

The kitchen is fully equiped with custom cabinetry and stainless steel applicances (electric stove, refridgerator, dishwasher, and over the counter microwave. It is very well stocked with nice cookware, dishes, and cutlery.

The bedroom is private from the rest of the condo. It has a very comfortable king-size bed, dresser, two night stands with lamps for reading, a 32 inch flat screen TV, and DVD player.

Emerald Skye has a heated pool (March - November), picnic area with charcoal grills, and a nice beach side lounge area to sit and read or enjoy the beautiful view. As a bonus to our guests, we provide access to our ground floor store room, which contains two very nice beach chairs and umbrella.

A fitness room is located on the ground floor. It is equipped with treadmill, elliptical machine, and stationary bicycle. A full range of hand weights and bench is also available.

This unit is non-smoking except on the balcony. Sorry, no pets permitted.

Parking is limited to one car.

This condo was an excellent choice to stay in Orange Beach. The condo was clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, and the unit was nicely decorated. The best part though, was the balcony overlooking the ocean. The furniture was very nice, and it made it so easy to just want to sit there all day. The ocean is so close and the walk to the beach out front is literally just a minute away. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect spot for a beach getaway.

Great condo great beach, great area. It’s the closest to a paradise we have found. Owner was easy to communicate with. Short of a dodgy elevator, it was perfect.

There's no place better

Rick is an excellent owner/host....this property is second to none in this area and price point. We have stayed at a couple of other condos at Emerald Skye when this one was not available...and they did not hold a candle to this place. Its clean, modern, easily accessible, and as i stated previously, Rick is an excellent and responsive host.

Great Stay

We had a very relaxing albeit short trip to the beach for spring break. The condo was exactly as described. Bed was very comfortable and kitchen was fully stocked for our needs. Squishy cushions on the deck made it absolutely cozy to sit and watch the ocean waves and people watch. The owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed before and after check in. He communicated with us and we were able to avoid any hiccups that occurred on the trip. We will be renting this condo again if we come back to this area.

Honeymoon 3.0

Perfection! Quiet, smaller building with view of beach and gulf off of balcony. So clean and updated. We didn’t want the glitz and shine from a huge place, but still felt we had the same treatment! The beach chairs and umbrella were ideal and so easy to get to!! The powdery white sand is gorgeous and we loved watching and hearing the waves from our balcony. We would recommend this VRBO and are so thankful we found it!! Would definitely come back!!

COULDN'T BE BETTER!

My husband and I recently spent a few days here, and we are convinced we will have to come back. The size of the condo is perfect for a couple, though there is room for two children, if needed. The kitchen is beautiful, and fully stocked! As others have mentioned, the best part is the beautiful view of the beach, and the pier, that is lit up at night. We also appreciated the reliable elevator, and had no problem with parking. This place is right in the middle of everything! Though we didn’t get to meet Richard, he texted us shortly after we arrived to let us know that we could contact him if we needed anything. But we didn’t! It was all perfect!

Clean and quiet!

This was a great condo for us to getaway and enjoy the beach, the views, and excellent seafood in the area. The owners were kind and easy to work with, communicated well, and made sure we had what we needed. The condo was just the right size for the two of us, comfortable and pretty furniture, great kitchen set-up, and super clean! Since it is on the second floor, we could use the stairs instead of waiting for the elevator which can sometimes be slow. I loved that they had plenty of hangers in the closet because I always forget to pack those. Also, they didn't have a lot of knick-knacks sitting around that we worried about breaking or getting in the way. They had just the right amount to make it feel like a home. Loved that! Balcony furniture was really nice, and we enjoyed sitting out there often. Sometimes the AC was a little noisy when we were sitting outside, but I expect that's true everywhere. We just learned to turn it off when we planned to be outside. No problem! Highly recommend this property if you want a clean and quiet spot for your next vacation with kind owners to walk you through everything.

We are a mature couple and stayed four nights. Rick’s place is exactly as described and is a perfect fit for us. It is on 2nd floor which gives us option of stairs or elevator. It is very clean, bed comfortable, well appointed, quiet, balcony is perfect. Once we closed the front door, all we could see was beach and ocean. Beach is very clean and not overcrowded. In fact, we have already booked a longer stay in spring 2026.

My wife and I have loved the beach our entire married life. Each summer our vacation was taking our two son's to the beach for a week. In 1995 we bought 'Our Little Get-A-Way'. We have enjoyed many happy days at our condo and Orange Beach. Our condo is furnished like a vacation home, not a rental unit.

Why they chose this property

Orange Beach/Gulf Shores is a perfect family beach destination. The Alabama beaches are some of the most beautiful in the world. The area is family oriented with every thing you want to do just a few minutes drive away. The condo is located very close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants, but not in the middle of wall to wall condos.

What makes this property unique

The condo next door has a lighted pier. The soft lights reflecting the gulf make a beautiful view at night. The condo is low density and the beach is never over crowded like the "high rise" condos.
