Canada is situated on the edge of Cabanas village, with the village of Conceicao and Benamor golf course a 5 minute walk inland. The air-conditioned top floor apartment has a bedroom (2 persons), a large living/dining room with a double sofa bed (2 persons), a sun terrace and secure parking. Cabanas is a fishing village and beach resort in the unspoilt Eastern Algarve just 4kms from the historic town of Tavira. The area boasts numerous blue flag beaches which are accessed via water taxi, ferry or land train (Cabanas included), all have white sand clear water and plenty of space. The village has numerous restaurants and snack bars together with all the amenities you would expect: supermarkets, ATMs etc. Transport links are excellent with the train station and bus stops just a 2 minute walk. There are a further 4 golf courses within 20mins drive. Part of Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, the area is of interest to walkers, birdwatchers etc.

Natalie & Phillip were lovely hosts and met us when we checked in. Their condo was very clean with a well stocked kitchen. There were two large balconies that worked great for having coffee in the morning and then watching the sunset on the other one. It’s a 15 min walk down to the water which has a great boardwalk and many restaurants.

The whole experience was brilliant. Absolutely loved the apartment, especially the outdoor space. Cabanas is beautiful. The host meeted and greeted us upon arrival and the communication was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great property

Really enjoyed our stay in Cabanas. The apartment was easy to find and Nathalie met us with the keys and showed us around the apartment. The only downside were the stairs up to the property but once up there the apartment and outdoor space was great. The area was very peaceful but found a bar and restaurant a few minutes walk away and plenty more in the village.

Everything about the unit was great! An easy walk to the centre of Tavira Cabanas and a short train ride to Tavira. Our host Nathalie was very attentive and helpful with all of our questions. Great outdoor balconies and a wonderful sunset view!

We LOVED our Cabanas/Tavira apartment. 2 big balconies and a smaller one off the kitchen. 4 sliding doors to the balconies allowed for lots of great fresh air. It had everything we needed and more!! Our host, Nathalie was wonderful and a great communicator. We enjoyed the area including Cabanas, Tavira, Ihla de Tavira, and Ste(?) Luzia where we had a fantastic grilled Octopus lunch-so delicious.

Fantastic Apartment

Communication with the owner very good before and during our stay. Owners son met us and was very polite, friendly and helpful. The apartment is superb - spacious, light, well-equipped and in a quiet location. By moving balconies you can have sun all day long. Good strong outdoor furniture. Easy walk to and from bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Highly recommended 👌

Lovely apartment

Brilliant apartment in a quiet and peaceful location. Sspacious, light and well equipped with everything you need. Great outside areas to soak up the sun or sit in the shade all day long. Short walks to bars and restaurants, would recommend the Hippo Cocktail bar for a few beers. Thank you Nathalie,this is now our preferred apartment and will be back! 🙂

Perfect break

Natalie met us on our very late arrival! The apartment is wonderful- a real home from home with everything you could need which makes your holiday so much easier. Cabanas is a lovely small town and very clean! You need a car to get about unless you really do want to chill in the sun for a week - either taking the boat over to the beach or on the apartment balconies. We walked to Tavira - about 3km in to the town on an easy path. Drive to Alcoutim, Vila Real, Loulé and Faro. A very good holiday.

Amazing spacious comfortable apartment with terraces galore. Kitchen was well equipped. Loved the location. There is a field catty corner from the apartment with horses, so the apartment is not surrounded by other structures. Communication with the host was seamless and there was easy parking. We would most definitely stay here again.

Opção muito boa 15 minutos pé centro Cabanas

Situado em condomínio fechado com garagem, bom para quem leve carro. Local bastante agradável a 15 minutos a pé do centro de Cabanas e do cais de embarque para a ilha, para quem goste de caminhar é muito razoável. Apartamento bem equipado com praticamente tudo o necessário. 2 varandas bastante amplas bom para relaxar e tomar refeições. É uma opção muito válida para quem não se importe de caminhar 15/30 minutos todos os dias.
