The cottage is a family second home and has been refurbished to provide the highest quality self-catering accommodation. It is an excellent cottage for family holidays, short stays and romantic breaks, very well-equipped and an ideal relaxing retreat throughout the year. Open plan and rustic beamed lounge/dining room, One double. one twin bedroom. Pretty south facing garden and patio. The cottage is non-smoking.

COVID 19 emergency: We have a flexible refund policy if cancellation requests are due to the current Covid situation. Guests are requested to bring their own bed linen and towels.

A peaceful and beautiful spot to stay.

We stayed in Bramleigh late last summer and have just returned for a few days. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and found the cottage to be cosy and very well equipped on both occasions, whatever the weather outside! We found it to be immaculate, very well maintained and welcoming. We visited several of the beaches nearby both during warm, sunny weather and during dramatic storms - both stunning. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage nestled in the peaceful countryside but within very easy reach of so many attractions.

Wonderful stay in a lovely cottage

Undoubtedly one of our best decisions to book this lovely Cottage in this beautiful rural enviroment for our Holidays in Devon. Absolutely quiet, clean and tidy. Everything was perfect. We loved to stay in this completly equipped Cottage and would like to come back again if possible. Such a lovely property. Well equipped & peaceful.

This was easily the best cottage we've stayed in and was equipped with everything needed. The rooms are spacious & modern and the surroundings were exceptionally peaceful. Clearly, Keith & Jean have been very thoughtful when furnishing and equipping the property and we even found items we didn't expect. To sum up, we can't think of anything that would improve your stay and the milk, cookies & wine were a very welcome gesture. Book & enjoy!

Well equipped converted barn.

A lovely clean self-catering property well equipped comfortable with a nice garden. Nice surroundings but a little remote, would have liked to walks to a pub for a drink/meal occasionally, and be nearer the coast. Although you list wheelchair inaccessible perhaps a mention that it wouldn't be ideal for elderly or less mobile people due to steps on approach to the property and maybe a mention also that unloading at the rear of the property is possible. On a positive note the wine, biscuits milk and eggs were a nice touch - and the weather was perfect! Thank you.

South Devon break

Property layout very good - nice large open plan upstairs, well decorated and equipped. Garden looks like it will be nice in the summer. Finding the actual property amongst the small cluster of houses in the dark was difficult - a light at the end of the path lighting the way and the house name would be a good addition.

Excellent holiday home in quiet location

Above all, Bramleigh Cottage is very clean. It is comfortable, well equipped with stylish and good quality fittings. It has the feel of a family home and is set in a very quiet location with helpful and friendly neighbours. Visitors should be aware that this area of Devon has many very narrow lanes and driving requires the utmost caution. The general situation is well placed and within easy reach of coastal locations. Highly recommended

Wonderful cottage

We really enjoyed staying at Bramleigh Cottage. It's in a beautiful rural location. The garden is a lovely place to enjoy the peace and quiet and the cottage is extremely comfortable and well equipped. There's good Wi-Fi but we had no mobile signal. We would definitely go back!

Fabulous property

This property is wonderful, it felt like a real home-away-from-home, comfortable with lovely decor, a really well stocked kitchen and pretty garden. It was great to have the folder full of useful local information which we found very useful. There were just 2 of us staying but there would be plenty of room for a family of four. Excellent value and highly recommended!

A very quiet and peaceful retreat.

Very much as described; comfortably furnished, lovely garden and friendly resident neighbours. Ideal location for exploring South Devon. Be careful on the narrow lanes! Some of the locals will drive much faster than a visitor, unfamiliar with the area!

A lovely quiet peaceful retreat

Our first stay at Bramleigh and we were very pleased with every aspect of the stay. Lovely spotlessly clean and tidy cottage set in a quiet rural location yet with the reassuring company of other guests and residents in the neighbouring properties. Welcome pack was much appreciated and the cottage could not have been better equipped, a true home from home. Driving the local lanes took a little getting used to but the other drivers seemed to have endless patience! Particularly enjoyed Dartmouth watching the activity on the water. Excellent wifi connection throughout the cottage but couldn’t get a mobile signal without going a way up the lane, in hindsight not a bad thing!! Would have no hesitation in recommending the cottage for a quiet relaxing getaway.

The property was lovely, really clean & set in beautiful countryside. It was a real home from home.

The wine eggs and biscuits were a lovely touch. It was ideal for visiting the coast , the walk to Topsham bridge was great. it was just perfect for us combining the coast & country. South Pool was a lovely village with a great pub, Salcombe was really pretty too. The coast walk to GaraRocks was a pleasure. The rewards of a nice drink and spectacular views was well worth it. I would happily recommend this property and look forward to the next time.

Fantastic, cosy and has everything you need.

This cottage is amazing, it is so peaceful and in a beautiful location. The owners have thought of everything you need. It has very friendly neighbours and has beautiful beaches nearby. Who needs to go abroad! We will defiantly be back. The little touches like eggs, milk, wine and cookies go down a real treat too. The cottage was very clean and information for surrounding places to visit and places to eat were very well appreciated. We would recommend Blackpool sands and Bigbury on sea for beaches and go to Torquay to the Model village and Kents caverns. Loved every minute.

Spring break

A great place to stay and we have on several occasions. Thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Off the beaten track, so a car is essential. Maintained to a high standard and well equipped. Location is good for exploring the South Hams and beyond.

Lovely cottage in beautiful location

We stayed in Bramleigh for a week in August having stayed many times in the past. The cottage was, as ever, immaculately presented and was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The location is beautiful, surrounded by farmland: a wonderful place to get away from it all. We love the South Devon area, and the cottage is ideally located for the great beaches and local towns such as Dartmouth and Salcombe. We would definitely recommend Bramleigh to friends and family (and have already done so!). We will be back!

Fantastic Break

We have stayed at Bramleigh several times and have always found it to be a fantastic place to stay. As well as being beautifully presented, the cottage is very well maintained, spotlessly clean and the owners have thought of everything you could need to be comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet and it is a great base for visiting the local beaches, countryside and villages. We have often recommended this property to our friends and relatives.

We have been visiting the area since childhood and then with our own children and now grandchildren. We love the area, whether relaxing at the cottage, exploring the local towns or having fun on the beautiful beaches.
