Chalet Les Chasseurs -
A 5 bedroom traditional chalet located on the lower road in Chatel 3 minutes drive from the Linga lift station. New renovated in 2025 the cahlet is light and airy with wooden floors and cosy rugs. We benefit from having a lovely big garden backing onto the river Dranse. The free ski bus stops outside the chalet.

*Ground floor -

Bedroom 5 with Double bed and ensuite.
Garage for ski/bike storage . Separate toilet. Laundry/drying room .
Stairs to first floor

*First floor -
Open plan well equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Dining area with huge pine table and lounge area with open log fire (logs included) and double doors to balcony. TV with freesat , DVD player , Blue tooth speaker . There is plenty of comfortable seating for everyone. Games for all ages.

Large Balcony with table and chairs and BBQ

* Second floor - bedroom 1 and 2 are doubles with double door access to the balcony.
Bedroom 3 has twin beds.
Bedroom 4 has twin beds, one has a trundle bed under which can be used to have 3 full size beds.
Bedrooms 1-3 all have large wardrobes and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 4 has drawer and shelving units to allow for 3 beds to be used.

Excellent chalet, very well equipped for ski holidays with good drying space in the garage (heated).

Good location, convenient for the supermarket and easy access to the Linga and Pres la Jou lifts. The bus stop outside the chalet is on the direct route to the Linga. The chalet was warm and cosy, with good chilling space. It is on one of the main routes to the Ski areas, which was fine, but on a busy day would make a lie-in noisy...But we were there to ski so not a problem. Could do with a better heater in the downstairs shower room...But that is a real minor detail..It was warm enough for the hardier types( men) . We would book again if we are coming back to Chatel.

Chalet tres confortable

Le chalet situé en dehors du centre de Chatel est très confortable et spacieux. L arret navette tout proche du chalet permet de ne pas prendre son véhicule. En résumé : très bon séjour

Chalet parfait pour accueillir facilement 10 personnes, idéalement placé pour skier, bien équipé et fonctionnel.

bon chalet mais certains point à améliorer

Le chalet est bien placé est bien agencé, assez spacieux, en revanche il manque certains équipements ( micro-ondes, poêle), la cheminée n'était pas utilisable ( quand on l'allumait il y avait énormément de fumée à l'intérieur du chalet) la propreté n'était pas optimale (nous avons retrouvé une souris morte dans sous un canapé).

Prima vakantie

Wij hebben het als gezin van 6 volwassen en 1 kind een prima vakantie gehad. Het huis piept en kraakt soms en sommige deuren sluiten niet helemaal, maar dat hoort bij een wat oud chalet. De ligging is goed en de skibus stopt voor de deur. De schoonmaak is slecht. Bij aankomst lagen haren op de vloer en een tandenstoker op tafel. Ook waren er spinnenwebben in de huiskamer en schimmel (dat absoluut te verwijderen was) op de wc op de begane grond. Wellicht zou een goede stofzuiger helpen. Die deed het namelijk heel slecht. Door de slechte schoonmaak krijg dit chalet geen 5, maar 4 sterren.

Chalet parfait pour 9 à 11 en famille.

Accès facile aux stations, navette à 10m ou voiture tout est déneigé en permanence. Chalet très bien aménagé et chauffé. Manque juste un micro onde. Doit être très sympa en été également.

Half Term dads and kids

This chalet was perfect for our group with a nice communal area to spend the evenings in. There was a nice open fire which we lit every night. Super location . when it snowed over night we were glad of the level access on and off the main road.

Chalet et environnement magnifique

Le chalet est spacieux bien équipé et très pratique pour la navette des pistes de ski. Le seul bémol est la propreté du chalet, le sol la cuisine et les salles de bains ne sont pas nettoyés. Pour le reste nous avons passé un moment extraordinaire

Beautiful well equipped chalet

It has everything you need, a huge well equipped kitchen that has plenty of spices oils, and some emergency milk even! It has a fabulous dining and sitting area and loads of things to games, books and dvds. The garage doubled up as a perfect boot/ski room leading off was a great kids dvd room ( you could loose them down there!) The only struggle was the boiler for 9 people was pushing it a bit but a quick call to the agency resolved how to get hot water quickly. The bedrooms were the perfect size even with the pull out bed making a 3rd bed in one of the rooms. The garden was a great place for the kids to play in the snow after a days skiing. And the bus stop was a minutes walk if that, just down load the bus app to find out how frequent they run ( line E/3) It’s a warm ( so warm we never lit the log fire!) chalet with lots of room, with 9 of us, we never felt on top of each other!

the property is fantastic it has everything one needs and there is plenty of space ,

We had a wonderful holiday in Chatel , The only downside is that the property is not yet registered with the Multi-pass scheme but the house and garden are really good and the weather was nice and hot

Très beau chalet mais ancien

L'emplacement du chalet est idéal pour accéder aux pistes et la superficie est parfaite pour 10 personnes. Petit soucis par contre sur la literie pour les enfants car les 3 lits individuels avaient des lattes cassées et nous avons du réparer nous même les lits. De plus, les matelas étaient bien trop fins. Autre petit soucis, nous avons eu une fuite d'eau de la salle de bain à l'étage avec des gouttes dans le salon. Nous avons appelé l'agence en charge de la gestion du bien qui devait envoyer un plombier mais personne n'est venu dans la semaine. L'entretien du chalet est assez décevant et l'agence qui s'en occupe devrait un peu plus faire attention pour le bien du propriétaire.

Fijn chalet met wat achterstallig onderhoud.

We hebben een hele fijne week gehad in dit prima chalet. + Heerlijk vrij gelegen. + Via garage naar binnen waar je de ski's prima kwijt kunt. - Het is erg gehorig, de deuren sluiten niet allemaal even goed. - De verwarming in de douche beneden doet het niet. - Er is maar 1 sleutel terwijl het een chalet voor 10 personen is. - Diverse lampen waaronder die van de afzuigkap waren kapot. - Schoonmaak kan beter.

our stay in Les Chasseurs end of febr.

It was a nice place to syay, all we need was there. but a view remarks;there where two doors difficult to open and close, livingroom and the door to the bedrooms. In the badroom on the groundfloor was the central heating not working. When we arrived in the Chalet we found in one of the bedrooms, under the bed, dirty underweare and earpluges. Overall we enjoy our stay. Best regards, Holthuis Bouman

We have been coming to Chatel for 31 years and finally had the opportunity to buy 21 years ago and we just love it as much in summer as in winter - you will never be bored of it.

Why they chose this property

When we were first married we came to Chatel by renting a friends chalet - at the end of the holidays we always hated leaving. We knew we had to plan to have a chalet there so it's a dream come true. It has been a constant delight and always full of fun - we love having friends and family filling it with noise and laughter as you can see from the photo modelling our cracker gifts! Pure pleasure every time.
