Welcome to Seagirt Retreat, where you can enjoy panoramic ocean views from every level. This contemporary beach home features four bathrooms and can accommodate up to ten guests across four comfortable bedrooms, including two master suites. Relax in the living room with open cantina doors, immersing yourself in the soothing sounds of the ocean waves.

Spanning 1,550 square feet of bright and open living space, our home is perfect for families and travelers eager to experience all that San Diego has to offer. The kitchen and living areas are located on the second floor, featuring new furnishings, updated appliances, new cabinets, California closets, and hardwood flooring throughout. The private garage can accommodate one SUV and includes a washer and dryer. Our home benefits from southern sun exposure, providing natural light throughout the living space. There are three balconies: one overlooking the neighborhood, and two offering stunning ocean views.

When you're not exploring San Diego's renowned restaurants, prepare a delicious meal in our fully equipped kitchen and enjoy a memorable family dinner at the adjoining dining table. Additional amenities include five smart flat-screen TVs with Direct TV, hairdryers, ceiling fans in every room, and wireless internet access. After a day of adventures, unwind with family and friends on one of the balconies or the patio, enjoying the ocean views and the calming sounds of the waves.

You will feel at home the moment you arrive. Make our home your next vacation destination! We ask that guests respect our neighbors and the surrounding community. Renters must be 30 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent. Please check the calendar for availability and rate details before inquiring. Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Take out Recycling to main outdoor can. Outdoor umbrella in down position and secured. Turn off air conditioners, small appliances and return any moved furniture back to its original location.
Start a load of beach towels in the washer
Close all windows and doors and ensure garage door is closed upon departure
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
No early bag drop off or leaving bags after checkout. No early check in or late check out permitted. We do not do monthly rentals.
June–Aug bookings are Sat–Sat. Guests must have 4+ stars. Guests who have previously canceled a reservation will not be rebooked
Photo ID and rental agreement (with all guest names) is due within 72 hrs of receipt. Reservation will be canceled if not submitted on time.

This is a great property in an amazing location. We had 6 adults and 2 kids under the age of 3. Tons of space and it was nice to have so many bathrooms. Kitchen is full of stuff and there were lots of things in the garage for the beach. Property is steps from the boardwalk and the patio is perfect for watching the ocean. Property owners provided lots of information about the house and were quick to respond to questions before we got there. We would most stay here again.

Great house for a family vacation

The house was perfect for what we needed. We had an extended family stay fit all 9 of us, including an infant. It was nice that everything was so close to the beach, including restaurants and shops. The house was clean and the extras like beach chairs were very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This house is just as advertised! It was perfect for a larger group including 3 set of adults and 4 children including a newborn. The hosts were very responsive and available. Seagirt Retreat

We loved our stay at Seagirt Retreat! The house was beautiful and very clean. It was stocked with many essentials. A short walk to the boardwalk and Pacific Ocean. Ocean views and gorgeous sunsets!

Perfect location

This house is just as pictured, and the location was perfect. We had 2 adults and 7 teenagers, ages 16-18, and we had plenty of room to be very comfortable. The owners were very nice and great communicators. The house is very well stocked for cooking, entertaining or just relaxing. (Which is pretty much what we did, as who really wants to cook on vacation) Plenty of restaurants & shops within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Space and Location

The property was amazing and the location met our expectations! There was plenty of room for the 7 of us and it really allowed us to enjoy our stay. As stated in the listing, parking can be a little tricky but the owner was very responsive in helping us find solutions. We came with a Ford Explorer and a BMW M4 and it was too tight for both. We were able to find parking off location within a very reasonable walking distance and worked out perfectly.

The Best Time Ever!!

This house was perfect for our all girls’ weekend. The layout of the house was so ideal. Our favorite part was every bedroom had a bathroom. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was so well stocked for cooking (we made homemade dinners every night). I have stayed at several VRBO’s and this one has been the best so far. For 4 days we never even had to drive anywhere. Great restaurants and coffee shops, as well as beach access was just steps away. We will definitely be back..

Amazing House for a large family, just steps to the beach

Our family stayed here for 5 nights and we had a great time. The house was clean and well stocked, and EVERYTHING was clearly labeled throughout. There were so many beach items available in the garage, and the location of the house was awesome... just steps to the beach! Check-in and Check-out were both easy and the property manager was responsive and communicated all of the information we needed. Both of our cars fit into the garage which is HUGE on properties located near mission beach. The Air Conditioners in every room helped make sure everybody as comfortable the whole time.

Family beach paradise

This was the perfect house for our group of 10 ranging from 2-73 years old. Each room had its own full bathroom plus hot outdoor shower. The dining table was extra large. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking supplies we needed plus the grill and picnic bench outside. Just steps away from Mission Beach we had great views of the ocean and we fell asleep to the sound of crashing waves. The garage could only hold our mini van but parking for the second car was not too bad. Communication with owners was fast and easy. Overall highly recommend!

Great family beach house!

Everything about this house was great! 9 of us loved having plenty of space to sleep and enjoy ourselves during the day and evenings. The house was clean, had modern appliances, updated bathrooms, a strong a/c system, plenty of beach and bathroom towels, beach chairs and a 30 second walk to the beach! We loved how all the kitchen cabinets and drawers were labeled so we knew where everything belonged, as well as detailed directions for and labels on all the remote controls, light switches and tvs. The owners were quick to respond to any questions/concerns and sent someone to the house to replace a smoke alarm that died while we were there. 5 star place for sure! Our stay was simply the best!! The kitchen had everything that you would need. Everything was marked clearly and labeled. All of the extras for the beach were in the garage all labeled. The host was wonderful to communicate with. We hope that we will be able to be in San Diego again next year. If so, we will definitely be looking to stay here. All of the guests staying where are very impressed with the house.

Our home is located just 3 houses from the beach, so you can enjoy being on the beach or simply enjoying the ocean views. Mission Beach has a small town feel and it is refreshing to park our car and walk! We love that we can get away from it all, unplug and just relax when we are here. With our home, we wanted to create a timeless, simple, clean and functional space that we can pass down for generations to come. We are excited to welcome our guests to enjoy all of the elements that make our house a home.
