An Exceptionally Pleasing Retreat

We found Casa Lola so lovely and relaxing that we spent more time at the property, and less time exploring Menorca, than we had planned!

Beautiful secluded villa

We spent 12 glorious days in this villa for two, and plan to return. The gardens are a delight, the pool is very pretty and there is plenty of shade. Owner Lyndsey is very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Can thoroughly recommend Casa Lola.

Perfect haven for couples

Casa Lola is lovely accommodation and ideal for couples. Is is compact but comes very well equipped and its own pool. Great location; peaceful and completely private with a rural feel, yet only a short drive from Mahon. Lovely established garden and small orchard which we were delighted to share with a family of tortoise! Lindsay is an excellent host.

Sweet stay in the country

Lovely little house in the country but still so close to Mahon, San Lluis, and beaches. We loved hearing all the birds and sharing the property with turtles and hedgehogs. The pool was beautiful and a wonderful oasis on hot days. Lindsay was fantastic and very responsive. We had a wonderful time!

Ideally situated for us. Very well appointed for 2 people. Beautifully maintained.

Initially difficult to find but once we had found our bearings it was perfectly situated in a quiet and secluded location but near all necessary amenities. The island was charming and unspoilt, the weather glorious and the people helpful and friendly. We were visiting to attend a wedding which was held nearby in the beautiful vineyard at Binifadet. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable week.

Perfect for a couple and the pool is special

Perfect in every way. We didn’t want to leave. We stayed put and relaxed by the pool. We barely left the area and didn’t even venture to the sea. We only wish it was a bit bigger so our daughter could join us there sometime in the future

Mark and Janice Cleary

The owners acted promptly to rectify loss of water issues. However there was a severe damp problem after a heavy downpour of rain which made the following couple of days spent there quite unpleasant. Villa nice and secluded.

The unprecedented weather conditions were exceptionally bad …global warming! I would have happily reallocated the guests had they informed me of their discomfort at the time. They suffered extremely unusual weather conditions for October. Since their visit we have installed an eco friendly pellet stove for winter visitors.

Menorcan treasure

We enjoyed a wonderful two week stay at this adorable casita with a lovely private pool. The house is small: a living dining area, one cozy bedroom and a bathroom and the outdoor area is quite large with a pool, sunbeds, outdoor dining area and fields beyond. Extremely peaceful and serene. The house is located on a stonewall lined lane within a 15 minute drive to Mahon, the main city in one direction and southern beaches in the other. Highly recommend!

General comments

We found the directions very vague. Had to call the owner from a nearby supermarket to talk us in. Having driven around there was a much easy way to the property. They directions supplied meant driving down a very/very narrow lane for about 1/4 mile with no passing places. Unfortunately we had a bad storm on our first night and the power was cut. Being so remote that was a problem. All said if you want a peaceful sechuled place to stay this is it. Any issues we had the owner dealt with promptly.
