The room we stayed in looked nothing like the pictures that were provided on the listing advertisement, it was a total Bait & Switch. The furniture in our room was rundown and mismatched. The TV also was very old and outdated and didn’t work half the time either.

Thank you for your review. No it is not a matter or bit and switch in fact on the contrary. Your originally booked apartment had a last minute boiler problem ( no hot water) and building management took an initiative and gave you another studio apartment instead of cancelling the booking and cause an undesirable stress to you thus leaving you without a property to stay in with all your bags. This was an unfortunate situation and I am sure you agree they did the right thing Thank you. Harry

The staff is remarkable (so helpful), 24/7 reception is ideal, the location is outstanding, our first trip to London was wonderful in large part because of the accommodations. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Fantastic home away from home

I really love the Nell Gwynn House Apartments. Perfect location for late night returns from shows and the 24 hour concierge ensures all needs are met. My flat was very modern, very roomy and had everything I needed as I bashed about London for a week. Daily housekeeping is provided and the washing machine provided opportunity for quick laundry if needed. Across the street is a bakery, a Starbucks, dry cleaners and huge supermarket. The one and only thing I don't like is that the building is huge and there are hundreds of flats and there's no accounting for other people's parties or actions. It's on a moderately busy street overlooking a school. I prefer super peace and quiet ... this doesn't always provide that. But I will always return - everything about the place completely outweighs the noise.
