Escape to The Corn Store, a beautifully converted Victorian building offering a peaceful first floor sanctuary for couples. Set in unspoilt countryside, this stylish retreat combines character and comfort with a contemporary finish—perfect for relaxing breaks and exploring North Cornwall and Devon.
Just nine miles from the popular seaside town of Bude, and within easy reach of stunning National Trust beaches, The Corn Store is ideally located for enjoying dramatic coastlines, charming villages, and walking the stunning south-west coast path. Although there are circular walks from our farm, a car is essential to make the most of this scenic area.
This apartment has a thoughtfully designed interior that is light and spacious, offering good wifi. It features a luxurious king-size bed for restful nights, a modern walk-in shower, open-plan living area with a cosy wood-burner and 43” smart TV, together with a fully equipped kitchen.
After a day of exploring, unwind by the fire or head up to the mezzanine level, where you can enjoy far reaching views over the Marsland valley. Depending on the time of year you might see spectacular starling murmurations, long-eared bats catching insects at dusk over our wildlife pond, deer, or hedgehogs late at night. Our black and white rescue cat, Bubble, keeps a watchful eye over the whole farm.
We provide a wealth of information so that you can get the most out of your well-earned break. This includes our own guide covering places to eat and visit, the best local walks, beaches, and hidden gems.
We love welcoming guests from all areas of the UK and the world, with the aim that that they return home with everlasting memories of their stay here.
Please note that the Barn is not suitable for babies, infants or children.

Guests must be shown how to use wood burner before they use it.
Guests cannot charge their electric/hybrid cars on our property. Our domestic electricity supply is unable to support this.

We had a fabulous week staying at the Corn Store, so good we did not want to return home! The apartment is very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. There are local walks you can do from the Corn Store but if you want to travel further afield the location is excellent for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Would recommend the local Farmers Market on Sunday mornings - we picked up some nice local produce.Riki was a great host and very knowledgeable about the local area.

We highly recommend the Corn Store. Riki and Martin were very welcoming and helpful. It was so peaceful and relaxing, just what we were hoping for. The Corn Store is one of the best places we've stayed in. Can't fault it. The bed is very comfortable and the en-suite was excellent. The week went far too quickly. Thank you for a wonderful time at the Corn Store. The cottage was outstanding, a lovely and premium place, furnished to modern and high standards, quietly situated in the breathtaking landscape of northern Cornwall. We nearly felt at home. Moreover, Riki and Martin were marvellous hosts, taking care of us in every necessary way. So we can recommend the Corn Store without any restrictions, for a short stay or even a longer period of time. We stayed for two amazing weeks.

Great place in a great location

Lovely property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were so helpful and friendly, there if we needed them and really knowledgeable about the area. The property feels peaceful but is so close to lots of attractions and beautiful walks, beaches, places to eat etc. Nearby Bude is a real gem. Would absolutely recommend the Corn Store, we loved our stay.

Fabulous Holiday

This was our fourth visit to this beautiful Corn Store. It is a very special place to stay. It is quiet, spotless, comfortable, has everything you need and is set in wonderful countryside. Riki and Martin are the perfect hosts, they have local knowledge to share and are always there to help. If visiting north Cornwall, this is the perfect place to stay. You can guarantee a good nights sleep on the really comfortable bed. We highly recommend the Corn Store and we will definitely be visiting again. Fantastic Property

The Corn Barn is the most wonderful place to stay in a lovely location. It is absolutely spotless, so beautifully equipped to a very high standard, so comfortable with a very modern bathroom and kitchen The hosts Rikki and Martin are fantastic with so much local knowledge to share. Fabulous holiday at the Corn Store

This was our third visit to the corn store. As with previous visits the corn store was just perfect. Really comfortable spacious property.

The Corn Store has been beautifully designed. All furniture and fittings appear new and of good quality.It is very clean and well-equipped, with comfortable bed and seating. Beautiful property and great welcome

The Corn Store is probably the best designed property we have stayed in. It is light and airy with generous sized rooms and heaps of charm. Spotlessly clean and had everything you need to enjoy your stay. Riki and Martin were welcoming yet unobtrusive and we would wholeheartedly recommend this lovely property to anyone visiting the area. The front steps are steep if you have mobility problems, but it was perfect for us.

We had a really great time in Rikkis Cornstore.You can feel, that Rikki and Martin love their Cornstore. The bathroom is beautiful, the badroom is very nice and has enough storage capacity for the wardrobe.The living area is very comfortable with a nice woodburner (which we didnt use, because the weather was great) and a lovely mezzanine with a great view over the countryside.Everything was spotless clean and tidy.The countryside around wollyfarm is beautiful and allows a lot of hikes with phantastic views.Rikkis support and tips were great and very detailled.We really enjoyed our time in Cornwall. Out ninth stay at the Corn Store

We have stayed in the Corn Store 9 times over the last 8 years, which I guess tells you all you need to know as a recommendation.Riki and Martyn are impeccable hosts and maintain the property in very good order. Always welcoming and highly knowledgeable, they have over the years provided many useful local insights and advised on places to explore.Whilst a couple of miles from the sea, there are plenty of easily accessible local walks on the coast path - try Sandymouth Bay or the walk to Sharp Nose Point from the church at Morwenstow. The Corn Store is located close to the A39 and is excellently located to access all the main tourist points along the North Cornwall/ Devon coast or locations inland within a reasonable travelling time.Look forward to going back again

When we unexpectedly found ourselves without jobs after many years of commuting to London we decided to do something completely different - a real lifestyle change. So we bought our dream property in North Cornwall and haven't looked back. Our 5 children are independent; one lives locally with his family, and the remainder still live in SW London. Between us we are proud grandparents to 11 grandchildren. We have Bubble, surviving brother to Squeak, who we rescued from Cats Protection in 2015. Martin has nurtured a flock of chickens - all different breeds - and built a magnificent 'chicken hotel'. We're both keen photographers and walkers - both of which go very much hand-in-hand here. We both worked in London for many years, and met whilst working for a global publishing company. Riki worked locally as a care worker for 4 years, whilst Martin volunteered as a watch keeper at the National Coast Watch Institute at Boscastle. Our aim is that guests thoroughly enjoy the Barn, its location, and the surrounding area.

Why they chose this property

We knew instantly that this was the home for us - it's a truly magical, undiscovered spot. It offers the best of everything -we're in a quiet rural hamlet and yet you can get to the Atlantic Highway (A39) quickly, which links North Devon to South Cornwall. So we're easy to find. Woolley is a very friendly community and made us feel very welcome from the start. Creating this conversion has been a labour of love and we're very proud of the result. It complements our courtyard.
We have worked tirelessly to improve the fabric of our farmhouse and all its buildings - a bit like painting the Forth Bridge .... but I'm sure we'll get there in the end!

What makes this property unique

You can park outside the Corn Store, and enjoy breakfast on the balcony in the morning sun. Or chill out on the indoor mezzanine and admire the wonderful views of the valley. Or curl up in front of the TV and woodburner watching a DVD.
Indulge yourself with the walk-in shower and underfloor heating. Have fun creating moods with the lighting.
Don't worry about how much luggage you bring - there's plenty of storage in the shower room, kitchen area, and cupboard space under the mezzanine.
