Thank you for choosing Cockleshell and taking the time to do a review, I loved liaising with you before your arrival, and then reading that you had a lovely holiday, enjoyed the wonderful views and completely relaxed and recharged body and soul….
When you come back, in the future, we will once again welcome you back with open arms.😊
Stunning outlook from the living room which is situated on the upper floor to maximise the views, really relaxing place to chill out, open the doors when it’s warm and take it all in. Easy access to some amazing food in the village and plenty to do in the local area even in the winter season. Had a great time here and would heartily recommend

"Many Thanks for taking the time to review us, we really do appreciate it"
Everything you could possibly want or need from a holiday rental was provided at Cockleshell Cottage. Sue has thought about every detail to make your stay as comfortable and ‘as like home’ as possible. The views and location are unbeatable- I cannot recommend this property highly enough and I can see why people keep going back!
Our hosts, Sue and Simon, go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. We were greeted with a refrigerator containing local food (cheeses, eggs, meats, creams and more) fresh loaf of bread, wonderful bottle of wine and fresh flowers. Who could ask for a more lovely beginning.
I was looking for a place where I could relax, chill and go for walks with me dog, I got all this and so much more from this cottage, Sue is a fantastic host and provided me with a delicious home cooked meal on arrival. Everything was thought of and I will most certainly be looking to stay here again next year.
