Beautiful Cottage 😍
Stayed here for three nights and thought it was gorgeous, it had everything you could possibly need and was spotlessly clean. This place has so much character I love it
WARM, COSY COTTAGE IN LOVELY VILLAGE OF FAIRFORD. WALKS FROM THE DOORSTEP AND PUBS AND COFEE SHOPS NEARBY. BEAUTIFUL BEAMED CEILINGS AND VERY COMFORTABLE BED, WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
This cottage, with its exposed beams, plank flooring, in a picturesque village, puts you in the right frame of mind for touring historic sites. We stayed there and drove up to the Cotswolds villages, also over to Bath and Avebury. We saw many National Trust houses. This apartment was convenient, comfortable, and had all modern appliances we needed. Stores are nearby, and one in particular, the butcher, has nice pies and other items that are delightful. A great place to stay.
A great property! ideal locations close to all required amenities. Fairford Town/ Village good too. Enjoyed the the history and decor. Would return again anytime. Had all the comforts of home.Arrived at RIAT early and first in line!
Garden very pleasant and would have been great to sit out in the evening.

Out of this world cool!
The pictures and description do not even come close to showing the awesomeness of this place... From the detail in decorating, the absolute comfort, the character of this place, and the beauty of the surroundings. You will feel like you stepped into a long ago era with all the modern comforts. Absolutely fascinating place!!! Loved it!!!
Felt like home immediately. Very cosy. The books everywhere, Shakespeare's buste...funny typical English weird dog lamp. Bathroom to die for. Bedrooms gorgeous. Did not see the ferret. And Fairford itself is a gem. Having read many books about the English Tudor times this was perfect as a place to stay and visit Highclere castle, Jeremy's farm and other lovely things and places in the beautiful surrounding countryside.
We stayed at Tudor Cottage for three nights, a treat for my Husbands birthday .
The cottage is from the 15 th century and is called a burbage . Which means it belonged to a King or Lord ! In this case King Henry the Eighth . Huge wood fire ,,which made the living room really cosy
Although old , the cottage has everything you could wish for.
There is a lovely garden out the back , which I am sure in the summer evenings , it would be a lovely place to sit and enjoy a drink or two .
The bedrooms are beautifully furnished .
My only negative is the stairs , which are steep and windy . My Hysband had to carry our dig up and down at bedtime .
Fairford is a lovely little town with access to some beautiful parts of the Cotsworlds.
We had an Indian takeaway on our first evening there , which I would recommend . Overall , a lovely stay .
Es hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir würden wiederkommen. Es hat Charme. Kleiner Nachteil, im Wohnzimmer hat es ein wenig nach Hund gerochen. Fanden wir aber nicht schlimm.

The moment we entered Tudor Cottage we were surrounded by an environment that wrapped us in an extraordinary experience of comfort, warmth and enchantment. Every need and more was anticipated by the owner. We can never thank you enough for making our stay in the Cotswold an unforgettable experience. Anyone visiting the Cotswolds should add a stay at Tudor Cottage to their experience
We had a wonderful stay at the Tudor Cottage in Fairford. It was in a lovely village, complete with a farmers market mid week. We were is a prime spot to tour the Cotswolds. The house was perfect for my husband, myself and his sister and husband. We could have drinks in the garden and enjoyed meals together at the house or over at the Bull Hotel, just a two minute walk. We created many great memories!
Due to Covid we had to postpone our trip twice, but third time’s a charm!
The Cottage was a charming step back in time…we loved it! Loved the fireplace, all the amenities and the bed were very comfy! We were lucky, we had great sunny weather and spend some time in the garden after a full day of exploring everything The Cotswolds had to offer! Fairford is a great place for making day trips, but also for going out for dinner or taking out! Everybody was very friendly and welcoming and gave us good tips! Visit Eastleach and have a drink or meal in The Victorian Inn….amazing! We also did the beautiful River Walk….soo much flowers in bloom!
Thank you Jody for all the nice communication online for 2 years :-) Anneke & friends from Holland
We loved our stay at Tudor Cottage. It is full of character and beautiful things and doesn't really feel like your normal holiday cottage, more like a home. Very well equipped with everything you need. Bedrooms are gorgeous and beds very comfortable. The garden is quaint, albeit down a little passageway at the rear of the cottage. There is some road noise but to be expected from its location. The log burner was lovely! The village has all the essentials, small Coop, butchers, chemist and lots of places to eat out , parking in the market place was easy, we made sure we moved our car before the market on a Wed morning though. Jody was helpful and very quick to respond to any enquiries. We would love to return one day . Many thanks!
We took a week off work to watch the Rugby World Cup which we did in the comfort of the cottage. It was a bonus to see Fairford rfc beat their local rivals Cirencester on Saturday afternoon. The cottage is handy for both historic places of interest and more contemporary attractions such as the woolen weavers centre. It was a pleasure having many shops and eateries on the doorstep.
Medieval cottage in a medieval village....delightful! Everything was as it should be for a historic cottage right down to the squeaky floors, low ceilings, steep narrow stairs, huge fire place, comfy beds, claw foot tub, cozy living area, functional kitchen, and laundry room. Find your breakfast right next door and there are two pubs just steps away. Perfect!
Stayed for long weekend with friends and we had a lovely time. Cottage is absolutely stunning with so many quirky features. Lovely comfy beds and lucky enough to have great weather so we even managed a few hours in the garden after a nice walk .Highly recommend for all
