Relaxing 3 bedroom cottage located in a prime location on "all sports" Stony Lake with spectacular views. Watch the sunrise from the balcony or the private, sandy beach right in your backyard. Dock your boat at the dock or use the paddle boat, sailboat, or kayaks which are included with the rental to explore Stony Lake. Enjoy swimming, playing in the sand, water sports or fishing off the dock. Create wonderful memories with family and friends while enjoying the cookouts on a new gas grill, campfires, or floating down the river into Lake Michigan. End your day on the 10x30 deck or the beach with your beverage of choice and watch the sunset. Our guests will surely enjoy the newly added, full bathroom as well as the updated family room furniture.

The cottage is located on the south side of Stony Lake which makes access to local attractions such as Lake Michigan, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Michigan Adventure, golf, horseback riding, bike trails, or a quick trip to the store very convenient. Ludington, Pentwater, Montague, Hart and Whitehall are all within 30 minutes.

Stony Lake family vacation 2023

We enjoyed an amazing week at this private cottage on Stony Lake. Only about 15 minutes from the sand dunes, and a fun relaxing tube ride from Stony Lake creek to Lake Michigan. Cottage was clean, with all amenities needed for a vacation week with family. We were very pleased with this rental 👍

Lakeside getaway

Stoney Lake is a beautiful destination for a lakeside getaway. This lake house was well stocked and had just about everything we wanted. There are lots of fun games and activities for rainy days. Tom was very responsive to any questions that we had. The only downfall that I could see was that somehow mosquitoes and many many spiders were making their way inside. We did notice some screens had holes and this is possibly the cause. Despite this, we had a blast and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic cottage on a beautiful lake

We had two families in the home and it was perfect! It has everything you need for your stay and the lake is so peaceful. Will definitely come back!!

Family Get Away

Very pretty property with Great Lake access. Updated kitchen and living were great with the whole family. Close to Lake Michigan, Silver Lake Sand Dunes, and Lewis Family farms.

We live very active lifestyles and enjoy living life to the fullest with our 4 children. We have been vacationing in this area for over 20 years and finally purchased this great cottage 5 years ago.

Why they chose this property

There is so much to do right at the cottage or unplug from it all and simply relax. You will love stepping out onto the balcony with a cup of coffee or tea and watch the sunrise. Then just a few more steps across the sandy beach and you will dip your toes into the perfect summer temperature of Stony Lake. It's perfect for families or a couples retreat. We are sure you will enjoy it as much as we do!
