Grace's Cove Cottage is an idyllic Block Island retreat with sweeping views in almost every direction. Sit on the porch and savor the sunset, or lie in bed and gaze all the way up the North Point to the North Light. The views are simply spectacular. Tucked away from the bustle of town on the island's quiet west side, high on a hilltop, the cottage offers the very best of Block Island. With 4 acres to meander, the setting is spacious, private, and serene. Pick blackberries or raspberries in the yard, or amble down the dirt road to peaceful Grace's Cove, where on even the busiest of weekends you are likely to encounter only a few souls. The home has been lovingly refinished with pretty wood floors and comfortable coastal decor. It retains the charm of an 1800's cottage, including the original steep, narrow staircase to the second level. The three bedrooms are on the second floor so please keep in mind that this gem of an island home is not accessible to all. An artist's beloved residence, colorful paintings of the island's natural beauty fill the walls. You may never want to leave, and find yourself dreaming of this sanctuary when you are away! Sleeps 7 in 5 beds, plus a crib. No Pets.

Once again, this was an amazing stay at just the most perfect Block Island house. The architecture is just lovely, the spaces are both historic-feeling/charming but also fresh and updated. The deck is perfection, with glorious sunsets better than any movie. It's so nice to just start a walk at the house, along Dunn's Cartway, with such scenic beauty you can't believe it. Quick walk to the most gorgeous beach that is usually completely empty of people (although we also like to mix in an easy drive to the main sandy Crescent Beach (usually at Mansion or Scotch entrances) for a more traditional beach experience. Really we love it and hope we can stay here every year!
Spacious and well decorated decor. The view and sunsets were beautiful. Restful comfortable sleeping with a relaxing outdoor shower! Great location away from crowds. Private.
The house sits up on high ground on the west side of the island, with sweeping views of the water and fabulous sunsets. The house is air conditioned but the breezes that run through the house create an island feel. Very private with outdoor shower sitting on 3.4 acres stocked with everything one could need or want. Close to town , marinas and restaurants.
This is a charming renovated cottage with gorgeous views, lots of room downstairs and stylish vintage furnishings throughout. House was super clean and had everything we needed from beach towels to games to baking equipment. We loved biking and hiking on the dirt roads nearby and hearing the distant sounds of cows and chickens at the farm down the road.
The house is well-equipped with beach towels, bath towels, and beach chairs. The kitchen has everything needed to cook homemade meals, which we did every night and enjoyed the outdoor patio dining table.
The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor so not for the handicapped.

Thank you so much for your review! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay.
We had the most marvelous stay (perfect weather didn't hurt). This house is sheer BI perfection--it has a vintage-y quaint charm, but with updated bathrooms and kitchen and all the amenities you would want. The photos are totally accurate. It is wonderfully decorated with beautiful art and joyful colors. It is cozy--most of the rooms are "just-right-size", and it has a massive yard both front and back, with a perfect deck for dining, hanging out, and watching the magnificent sunsets over the water. The beach near the house (walkable) is gorgeous with cliffs and cool stones and almost always completely empty--it is fairly rocky but sandy patches are there for your chairs if you want to sit here. Fantastic for walking or swimming. Or it's a shortish drive to the popular large sandy Crescent Beach. Just loved everything about this place!!
Charming house in a beautiful part of the island with INCREDIBLE VIEWS! The house is nicely appointed with everything you need to be comfortable (good mattresses and pillows, high quality linens, plenty of towels, extra blankets, upscale kitchen appliances and accessories). The listing is a little misleading in terms of bathrooms...it was fine for us (two parents and two teenagers), but having a second family would have been tough. There is one full bath on the first floor, and one half bath upstairs. A sink in the master bedroom and an outdoor shower don't count as additional bathrooms in my book! Highly recommend for one family though!
