Gorgeous, impeccable, spotless property in a quiet location. Hazel is incredibly friendly, kind, helpful and just a wonderful person who responded very quickly to our questions.Would love to stay here again and one of the easiest recommendations to anyone interested.
This host thought of everything! It smells and feels almost like a spa retreat! The home is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and beautifully located with water views. The proximity to Inverness if perfect. Highly recommend this home!
Beautiful location. Very, very nice house. Great host.
Hazel was great, easy to communicate with and was there to settle us in at check-in. The location can’t be beat. Our favorite place so far on our Scotland trip.
Our desire to be near water but close enough to local sights was met beautifully at Hazel’s cottage! So well appointed and kept, we enjoyed our time (albeit too short!) and terrific memories made!
The house was just as described and had everything we needed! Very spacious for our group and had great views of water. The host was quick to respond to any questions. Would recommend this property to anyone who is visiting the area.
This property was the best vrbo we have ever stayed at. Good location. Good view. Well furnished. The “pod” outside was a fun addition. Loved our time here.
We had an amazing stay at Hazel’s Sea Cottage. Everything was better than expected. Wish we could have stayed longer. We will most definitely stay here again if ever back in Inverness.
Stayed on the first night of a two-weel vacation. Wished that we had more time! A great spot, fantastic location and wonderful host. Highly recommended!
Pictures do not do this beautiful cottage justice. It is in the most perfect location and Hazel is the most outstanding hostess who has thought of all of the details. I would not hesitate to book this proprerty.
This is one of the best VRBO locations we have ever stayed at. The cottage is wonderfully decorated and furnished and every possible need for travelers anticipated. We would definitely stay here again and would only change one thing -- we would stay LONGER!
The cottage is absolutely lovely and I wish we could have stayed longer. Hazel Bell is very responsive. The house provides all you could wish for, including the opportunity to sit out (even in a cold drizzle) and look at the sea. Our stay was short, but we loved every minute of it.
This is a fantastic home to stay in. It is well laid out with comfortable, cozy rooms. The kitchen was very well stocked and clean. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and varieties of soaps and lotions and shampoos. Just really nice. We ate at the hotel down the street and had an excellent meal, at Hazel’s suggestion. The views of the firth were lovely.
Highly recommend!
Can't begin to say how much we enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cottage by the bay. We didn't lack for anything, attention went into every detail was so appreciated and thoughtful.
The location is a real plus - easy access to points north and west, plus into Inverness. The view from the front rooms is exceptional.

Hazel has maintained and decorated her property to the highest standards. Everything you could possibly need has been provided. The location is superb-just what we hoped it would be. Access was so easy and Hazel personally welcomed us. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. If we ever get an opportunity to visit this area again we will definitely book here and stay longer.
Such a wonderful time spent here at Hazel’s cottage! Everything was top notch! The decor, the provided amenities, the box of chocolates that welcomed us♥️. The village provided beautiful views of the loch, delicious meals, and pleasant strolls. I’m already planning a return to Hazel’s cottage. And what a sweetheart she is!
The Stone Cottage was just beautiful. It had all the amenities you would need. Immaculately clean. The owner was very responsive to our questions and helpful in her suggestions for a nearby market. We had had a long day of travel and it was very relaxing to sit out front and enjoy the view, sunset, and those who passed by on the path beside the loch. Would definitely book here again if we are ever blessed with another trip to the area.
