Great property!
We stayed at the farm house to attend a conference that was held at the Grand Traverse Resort. This house was great. It was spotless and stocked with everything we needed. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a quiet spot in the Traverse City area. You will not be disappointed.

Wow Darcy we wouldn't have even known anyone was in the house - thanks so much for leaving it in such terrific condition. Come stay with us again!
LOVED our stay at the Williamsburg farm house! The home is beautiful with everything you need for comfort & convenience. 3 weeks of Traverse City June horse shows were enhanced by the location & ease of lodging.
Joy is a top host with sincere hospitality & generous wishes for a super stay.
Will for sure rebook on our next trip!
The owners of this restored farm house have done a great job and are super helpful. They went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of.
The kitchen is really well equipped, the house is very comfortable and super clean.
The house is surrounded by cherry orchards that you can stroll through and there are many farm stands nearby. We enjoyed being near enough both Elk Rapids and Traverse City if we wanted to go out to eat.
A VRBO I’d like to return to!
I can't say enough good things about this house and its owner. We stayed here while my daughter attended a horse show at GLEF, and it was the perfect location - only five minutes from the show. The house is very clean, stocked with everything you could possibly need, has great WiFi, and is super comfortable. It backs up to a beautiful cherry orchard. Watching the sun set while sitting by the fire pit was one of the highlights of our stay! The owner, Joy, is absolutely amazing. She responded to every text immediately and even stopped by to bring us some freshly picked cherries from the orchard! We will absolutely stay here again!!

Thank you Sandra - we look forward to hosting you again next year! Best guests ever!
My impression of the house started within a few steps inside. This place is absolutely immaculate. I have never been in a cleaner rental. The positive impressions continued. The place was extremely well furnished with amenities and kitchen equipment. The floor plan was well laid out; three bedrooms upstairs, one on the main floor along with a large kitchen, dining and family room. We had six adults with some hard scheduled events, so getting ready sometime a challenge. Not here, there were two full bathrooms and we never ran out of hot water. If heading back to TC with family, this will be the first place I check.

Thank you Tom! We would love to host your next stay!
We came for the horse show (21 days!) and had such a lovely time. We rented both the main house and the carriage house across the street. Highlights of the houses: They are beyond well-equipped.We never bought toilet paper or paper towels. Whatever we needed was found in a drawer or hall cabinet. Owners are very near and answer any questions/concerns quickly. Houses' location is 3 minutes from horse show. 10 minutes to grocery and 18 minutes to downtown. There is ample parking for multiple cars and trailer and set on a beautiful cherry orchard. The houses were so charming that we cooked a lot and enjoyed our stay.
We were in TC for a horse showing event that we attend every year. This year we tired a VRBO house verses the large campers we own and normally haul up. This property was perfect. Lovely home. Plenty of room. Clean, up to date and has a fun backyard with expansive lawn, cheery orchard and crop fields. All with a back drop of a tree line that was just starting to think about changing colrs.
This house was perfect while my daughter competed at NAYC 2022. Just a couple miles from the showgrounds and close enough to everything we wanted to do while we were there. The house was perfectly stocked with everything you need while on vacation or at the show. The beds are very comfortable, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Very relaxing atmosphere, and I loved walking through the Cherry orchards.
Joy is a fantastic host! very easy to get in touch with, very kind and caring.
Cant wait to stay again. Michigan has become one our favorite places to visit.
The house is exactly as represented in the listing. And it was so CLEAN!!!
The owner responded quickly and went out of her way to accommodate us on my special requests. There were so many special touches and little things (e.g., providing makeup removal pads and cotton swabs) that made such a huge impression overall! As one example, I asked about picking cherries, and Joy’s husband dropped off a huge pan of the most delicious cherries.
The orchard setting was beautiful. My husband and I would sit outside on lawn chairs to enjoy the views before the kids woke up. The kids had plenty of room to run, explore, and play.
For anyone looking for a place to stay while participating in horse shows at the nearby Flintfields Horse Park, it is a 5 minute drive and convenient because it’s located in the opposite direction of the Bates Rd/72 traffic that tends to back up from time to time (and completely avoiding that stop sign interchange).
This is truly a wonderful place to stay, and the owners clearly take great care in preparing it for guests.
This charming farmhouse was well appointed and very clean with many thoughtful touches like USB ports for charging. We loved grilling out on the beautiful deck overlooking the cherry orchards and sitting by the fire pit in the evenings. Boating in Elk Rapids was less than 10 minutes away and the owner left suggestions for nearby restaurants and points of interest. The freshly baked pies for sale down the road were amazing as well.
Loved our time here. This was our second stay here and we will stay here in the future. Wonderfully clean and well appointed home. Beautiful deck and back yard overlooking the fields. Less than 5 minutes to the horse park. Five stars 🌟
Joy was absolutely the nicest to coordinate our stay with. We are so lucky we were able to stay at her property during our 2 weeks competing at the Traverse City horse show. In addition to the house being immaculately kept, Joy went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. In fact, when we left, we accidentally forgot some important things in the house, and Joy helped us coordinate a way to have it returned to us. We cannot thank her enough for everything!
We were in town for GLEF. Joy was a pleasure to deal with and the house was easy to stay in. Very close to the horse shows and close to Elk Rapids for dinner
Joy was so pleasant to work with. The home was very charming , neat , clean and comfortable for our stay . I highly recommend this property and I would definitely stay again.
The house had everything we need. Joy even had a full coffee service and the kitchen was stocked with supplies like storage items, olive oil, salt and pepper, etc. . The place was immaculate and roomy. The bathrooms are updated and the kitchen easy to work out of. The backyard is glorious and we enjoyed the fire pit with the lights. We hope to be back.
We stayed at the farmhouse with friends we hadn't seen in a while. Everyone was pleased with their rooms, the home was VERY clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed to make a few meals in, we had TONS of space to play backyard games. The fire pit was beautiful and set up with everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again!
Communication with Joy, was wonderful and she was available if we needed anything. If you want a place where you can really relax and enjoy yourselves, this is the place!
Can't wait for our next visit!
This home worked great for us. It’s in perfect condition. The owners thought of every last detail to make our stay comfortable.
