Cute 1 Bedroom efficiency Condo At Glendon Beach With a community Inground Pool

A cute 1 bedroom/efficiency condo 1/10th of a mile from Glendon and Hagis Beach. !! The Cape is open and welcoming visitors. We look forward to your visit!! Our cute 1 bedroom condo is in a perfect location for walking to the beach, walking to area restaurants with outside dining and entertainment, and local hiking and biking trails. We have outside areas here at the condo which gives you plenty of space to enjoy your vacation. There is a large inground pool on the property (we have no control over the opening and closing dates but usually mid June til Mid September it is open). We have 1 full/queen bed and 1 full size pull out sofa. A fully equipped kitchen. We sleep 2 - 4 people. and 1 parking space. wifi.

Dennis has 17 beaches, historic areas, as well as the cape cod rail trail for bikers with bike rental available right at the trail. A short ride away is historic Provincetown, and a short ferry ride away is Marthas Vineyard and Nantucket. This is a great year to see the Cape and enjoy the outside spaces that CapeCod has to offer.

Perfect getaway

Unit was very clean. Comfortable bed, bathroom upgrade was excellent. Futon as sofa not very comfortable to sit for extended periods of time. Overall, our second time with host, highly recommend.

Perfect little efficiency for one person or a couple, close to public beaches and centered right in the middle of the cape to go both north to PTown or West to the canal. The pool on site was a nice touch too.

Our family of four enjoyed our brief stay. Honestly, it’s really only suitable for 3. The couch that makes into a bed might be good for 2 kids but not adults (or teenagers). It is hard! FYI - shower is small and bathroom is tight.

Fair price for the duration of our stay. It’s good if you plan to just sleep and go out for activities. Pool had a close sign posted during our whole stay despite listing offering pool access. Short distance to local beach and a few dining choses. Had to bring our own sheets and clean before we left but you will still be charged a cleaning fee despite leaving property as we found it. Toilet could use some repairs especially the handle.

Pictures deceiving. Bed too large for room; had to climb over spouse to use bathroom. Shower curtain too short for remodeled shower and hot & cold reversed. Had to turn kitchen sink to warm to get a warm shower; then hard to regulate temp almost scalded 2x before we learned the awkward system. Cabinets painted over, but not inside doors. Silverware drawer very dirty still had crumbs in bins; used plastic and paper plates. Also Board of Health shut down pool so we couldn’t use that. We asked for rebate but haven’t heard from owner as yet.

Needs updating and repairs, and better furniture

The unit is depressing in the way that old, dilapidated, cheap, and dirty furnishings are. As soon as you walk in, you're hit with the smell of mold, perhaps years worth of animal vistors or proximity to the ocean. The bed was soft--very uncomfortable to sleep in--and smaller than described. The back yard is a tiny, filthy patio. We found the place so dispiriting that we left a day early.

Back area wasn't the least appealing but nice sitting area in front. Bed was very awkward getting in & out for 2nd person. They should turn the bed the other way. Full kitchen and a small couch and table. Place isn't big but it's totally okay for 2....would be great for 1. Wifi is very good. Night before we arrived the host contacted us to bring our own sheets and towels which I found very odd. She said that's quite common since covid. First I've ever heard that ever. We were flying so told her that would be difficult and we'd have to buy those items. She said "that's okay then. We have sets for guests flying in." Host also asked us to leave the suite very clean.....whatever that means?? Anyway....good area. Good price. Good unit.

Not as described

This is not a one bedroom place. It is one room with a partial room divider between the living area and the bed area (plus a bathroom). There is no door as would be required on a bedroom. The bed is not a queen. The mattress is 52 inches wide and 75 inches long. Even a full mattress would be 2 inches wider. A queen should be 60 wide by 80 long. The bed is pushed up against the wall and on awkward blocks that prevented us from moving the bed out a little bit. When the "inside" person had to get up at night, the "outside" person had to wake, too, to make room for the "inside" person to get out of bed. We would not have rented this place if it had been described accurately, and we slept poorly for most of the week. The owners did not respond about these concerns when I contacted them. That said, it was clean, attractive, and close to the ocean.

Cape Cod getaway

The unit was very cozy. Not a lot of space but very adequate for 2. The appliances, coffee maker, toaster, etc worked fine. Food supplies were limited so we needed to find a store immediately.
