The location was fantastic. 2 blocks from the Old Course and minutes from great restaurants, pubs and shopping. Comfortable accommodations and very responsive communication from property manager. They followed up upon our arrival and allowed us late check out due to our luggage issues with the airlines.

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a wonderful review, we really appreciate it. We're so delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at Sandmill and very much hope to see you again in the future.
Enjoyed the property.
Feedback, small door stoppers I would recommend. Very noisy closing. Beds small for 6 ft person, and duvets same.
Otherwise space and size of rooms great, showers great, kitchen amenities great.
Excellent location. Fantastic view of the the sea and west sands from the living room window and from front bedroom. Spacious and comfortable house . Loved it . Only drawback -no outside space . Not a problem in February , and a short walk to the beach . Grassy area with benches about 40 metres away.

Great location, amazing view over the ocean and St Andrews Links. Well equipped kitchen. Perfect in all ways for a large party (6 persons) as all 3 rooms have 2 single beds each.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
A tired unclean version of the listing
Initial entry up the first set of stairs showed stains on the carpet. There was an unpleasant smell.
The apartment looked tired and less clean than the photos on the web site.
The kitchen rug was worn and filthy caked in dirt and dust. We moved it behind the sofa rather than stand on it. .
The first bathroom toilet did not flush without the cistern lid being lifted.
Pants retrieved from behind the radiator in the third bedroom were so covered in dirt that we ended up putting them in the bin.
There was a shortage of decent glassware - we purchased a few and have left them there.
The whole tap in the kitchen sink came off on the first morning flooding the kitchen. The mop in the cupboard was filthy . Although tap fitting was repaired promptly when advised.
On the plus side the bedding was clean and the beds comfortable. There was a washing machine and dryer which was also useful.
Location is fabulous but the seagulls are horrendous in the street and kept everyone awake.

Good Morning Fiona,
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review. While I am glad to hear that you rated the location of the property and found the beds to be comfy, I am extremely sorry to hear that you found the property to be dated.
Sandmill is extremely popular due to the size of the property and premium location - due to the property being situated on one of the most prestige areas of St Andrews. We are aware that the property is not modern in style, however feel the pictures of the property are a true representation. Taking into the consideration the price of the property, the premium location and the price per person, per night, we do feel the property is fairly priced.
I will of course be sure to pass on your comments to the owner, who sincerely appreciates feedback. Thank you for acknowledging that we were able to promptly rectify the issue with the tap, as soon as we were notified.
Thank you once again for choosing Kingask Properties.
Kind Regards,
Kingask St Andrews
