✶Creek Safety✶ The home backs directly onto a natural year-round stream. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children must be supervised whenever outdoors near the water. Do not climb rocks or cross the creek to the opposite bank, which is private property. Rocks and banks may be slick after rain or snow—enjoy the scenery safely.

We had a wonderful stay! House was beautiful with lots of charm and stocked with everything you could need. Our kids had a great time with all the games available. Jaquie was an exceptional host! We could most definitely stay here again.
"We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Colorado home! The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, close to nature, yet peaceful and private. We especially loved the stunning views and the thoughtful touches throughout the house. The host was very responsive and made the entire process smooth and easy. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Colorado and would definitely stay here again!"
We had a great time staying at this circus themed home. The decor was cute, the house was spacious, perfect for our multi-generational vacation. Close to shops, close to highway. Nice yard.
Our family loved staying in this property. The theme was adorable and we loved the decorations around the house and the photo booth/foosball table. It was so quaint and cute! Everything we needed was provided, in the kitchen as well as bedding. The outdoor space was great with the grill and my kids liked exploring the stream. We even saw a snake and 3 deer. We would stay here again, especially in the winter.
It had been 4 years since my wife, her mom & sisters had all been able to spend time together as a group! With our niece being in the figure skating nationals, it was the perfect opportunity. We were blessed to find a rental cozy and big enough for all of us. Kid friendly also! We had a blast.
The house was very comfortable. Well stocked for needed items. The stairway is pretty steep, but did not bother the younger members in our group. Ee realy enjoyed our stay.
This is the second time I stayed at this property, and I enjoyed my trip both times. The house is so clean, and the seating areas (love sitting by the fireplace!) and beds are comfortable. I enjoy looking at the decor in the house, and learning about the history behind it. The host promptly responds to questions, and the whole process was smooth and easy from check in to check out.
This house was perfect! There was a good amount of stores in walking distance and the bigger attractions were just a 15-20 minute drive away. The house was perfect, from having games for everyone to enjoy to a lovely private backyard (with a grill!).
10/10, will be booking again when I am back in Colorado Springs!
A most enjoyable stay even with an unexpected 10 inch snowfall. Great location near many of the major attractions in Colorado Springs, yet off the beaten path in a quiet residential neighborhood. Having a home instead of a room was a world of difference for the better.
Would stay again if the situation presents itself
The circus theme of the home is fun and refreshing! There was plenty of space for each of us and it is close and easy access to the NEI conference, which was located at the Broadmoor.
The host was easy to communicate with and replied quickly to any inquiries we had.
Would highly recommend this home and would stay again.
Such a creative house to stay at. Very clean, there were comfy beds. Plenty of linens and pillows. Lots of room to eat together. If you are over 6 foot 2 you might not fair so well upstairs. Elderly in a walker friendly. Close to shopping which makes getting the essentials a breeze. Location is perfect for a USAFA graduation. Yes there is an iron! I highly recommend!
We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It is an older building but the owners keep it in immaculate shape and take care of it well. It had everything we needed for our stay. The kids LOVED the fusballl table as well as having the upstairs for themselves. We were there during winter and while most days the temps were mild, an unusually cold front came through for two days. We had problems with the heating on the first floor and Mary Kay sent out a maintenance guy immediately with spare heaters while he checked things over. The second floor never got cold and was always toasty warm. The fireplace is easy to use and adds warmth to the evenings in the living room. It was a quiet safe neighborhood and in a great location. If it was warmer we would have walked to the Edelweiss German restaurant. It was so good we went there twice! We would come back again to stay at this cottage again. Thank you!
Aside from being outright tacky, this place is a glorified bug motel. We had 4 kinds of bugs pop out from everywhere, forcing us to find another property in a hurry. I have the photo evidence. We were scared to catch Lyme disease inside the house. The cupboards reek- forcing you to wash all the cups and plates prior to use. The appliances are dated- the a/c barely cooled. The strange decoration gets stranger when you realize bugs are creeping up the walls and falling in the middle of the dining table. The owner and host were anything but hospitable. We had to call the police on the owner for her to return a computer we accidentally left behind because she refused to surrender it voluntarily. Stay away from this circus! It’s bound to make your vacation a nightmare!

We had to call the police multiple times due to safety and security issues with this guest. Unfortunately the review misrepresents the situation and quality of our home because they were angry with the police intervention. We take great pride in providing an exceptional experience for our guests and ensure our home is clean and welcoming to those visiting our serene stream side setting. We have been hosting guests for over 15 years and have a positive tract record of reviews and engagement.
This was a lovely house to stay in! Room to spread out; central location - 15 minutes from most major attractions. I loved being able to look at the creek from the kitchen. Highly recommend!
