You will find a country pub, restaurant and general stores in the village centre. The long tract of sandy beach at Porthpean and Pentewen are within easy reach and the charming fishing village of Mevagissey and historic port of Charlestown are also well worth a visit. Lovely Cottage convenient for visiting many Cornish locations
This property is meticulously appointed.
In the modern kitchen, with a breakfast bar for two, on arrival there was a lovely box of goodies provided by the owners (who, very considerately, contacted us beforehand wishing us a good week's stay). The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent with great modern fittings which worked well. It was very quiet inside the cottage ... although slightly noisy from traffic when sitting outside, but it wasn't too obtrusive. There was a comfortable upstairs sitting room for relaxing in. Well done to the owners for all the above ... including their own domestic brewery in an outbuilding producing delicious bottled beer; many thanks for that bonus! Cheers!
