Please Note
This is a private ground-floor apartment located beneath our family's home. We live upstairs with our two children, so you may occasionally hear normal daytime family activity. We want guests to enjoy an authentic New Orleans home—not an anonymous apartment building—and we're always happy to provide local recommendations or assist if you need anything during your stay.
The apartment has lower ceilings (approximately 6½ feet in most areas), which is common in historic New Orleans homes and something taller guests should be aware of.
To help maintain a peaceful environment for everyone, we do not allow parties or events. Guests must be at least 25 years old to book.
A signed rental agreement, government-issued ID, and security deposit authorization are required before arrival. Exterior security cameras monitor the entrances only.
We can't wait to welcome you to New Orleans and help you experience the city the way locals do.

We had an amazing stay. Great location and loved having everything we needed to cook meals. All the comforts of home while in vacation. Places like The Right Place are exactly why we choose VRBO over hotels for vacations. Highly recommend!

Thank you, Rebekah! We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again soon!
Charming bottom floor apartment with plenty of room for 6 of us! We were so busy we didnt get to use the hot tub but my kids LOVED having the Xbox! We parked on the street and never used our car again! The streetcar is an easy walkable distance.
This VRBO was perfect and one that we would book again. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the porch concert we were invited to on our VRBO host's front porch. Plus the game room with a turntable and old records was a hit. Great location.
Amazing apartment in a quiet, charming, walkable residential neighborhood with the best pizza and ice cream literally 3 blocks away. Space was perfect for our traveling party of 5, incl 2 kids. Relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day was the best. 10/10 would rebook if we’re ever back in New Orleans!
Great place! Close to the street car so it was easy to get around. Kids loved taking the streetcar. The hot tub was nice to come back to after all the walking. It was nice we all had our own rooms and extra space to hang out in.
Everything we needed was there it was really in a great location and perfect for the three of us sisters. We each had our own space. Communication is excellent. Katrina was wonderful.
Great neighborhood, quick trip to streetcar or an affordable uber/lyft to French Quarter and other areas of the city. Clean, comfortable and has everything you need and then a garlic press! Hosts are quick to respond.
Our host Katrina was very welcoming and responsive. The place was very clean, thoughtfully laid out, decorated, and stocked. Great space for our family of 5! Easy location to get to and from the main attractions within 15 minutes by car, and street parking was very easy.
Our stay was terrific. The host was available when we had a small snag with the keypad login; we loved the neighborhood and the kids wanted to take the foosball table home with us. The space was comfortable and inviting.

Really enjoyed the patio and living room. Rooms/beds very comfortable. Kitchen had anything one could need. Perhaps more backup on paper goods. Would definitely recommend!
Spacious, inviting apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for groups who want to be close enough, and far enough away from it all when you want to be. Everything was as advertised or better. Highly recommended!
This is such a clean & comfortable place to stay! The host was very helpful in helping us navigate the local area & the house was just right for our group of 3 adults & 4 teenagers. We were there for a tournament at the convention center & this was a perfect location for an easy commute in the mornings and afternoons. I’d highly recommend anyone staying here’
We had such an amazing stay! We were there with three teen boys and a girlfriend. Perfect, relaxing space. Plenty of room, comfy beds, stocked kitchen. Excellent host communication!
