About the host
Hosted by Tracy Kennedy
Hi! I'm Tracy, having moved to Bury St Edmunds in 2014, I spent time renovating our cottage and starting hosting guests in 2017. Having worked in customer service for over 30 years, I always enjoy meeting wonderful guests from all over the world.
I have a passion for baking and making preserves with fruit from our garden. Love nothing better than being outdoors in the garden and enjoying countryside walk in the surrounding area.

Why they chose this property
Our cottage is a quintessential thatched cottage overlooking the village green. I fell in love with the area as soon as I saw it. It is a beautiful village set within the Suffolk countryside and within walking distance to Kings Forest, Culford Park, West Stow Country Park and river walks.
The historical town of Bury St Edmunds is only 10 minutes drive away and is super for a day out with it's wonderful shops/market and array of restaurants and cafe's.

What makes this property unique
6 The Green dates back to 1640 and has a wealth of original beams. It was originally a workers cottage for the Hengrave Estate and is now the only thatched property on the village green.
