Very good accommodation, small but efficient with excellent bed. Would recommend staying here as it is on a quiet street with easy access to the town center, 10minute easy walk.
The Gray Room is exactly as advertised. It is in a quiet area with plenty of parking. I was in town for business and would have no problem recommending the accommodations in the future. I look forward to returning to BSE!
Great self contained rental. A lot of thought has clearly gone into the Greyroom to give the client the perfect experience. Well done to the hosts 10 out of 10 and thankyou from us x
Complete waste of time no check in instructions.
Advertised as with parking host told us were to park then got a parking ticket.
Booked for 2 nights stayed for 1 glad to get home.
Bury is a lovely town though worth visiting
Owner Cate is lovely , put a few things in the room for a couple of days of breakfast
Room and good size
Nice En-suite
No bath extractor this created humidity
Whilst the room was nice , it was poorly lite as was the bathroom, and no place to hang used towels to dry . Needs shelves in the bathroom.
Not enough drawer space .
The door was stiff and we were always concerned about waking people up.
Parking is close by .
Can walk into town .
The property is just as described and as lovely as it looks in the pictures. Nicely furnished, comfortable bed. The host provided essential food for the first breakfast (and beyond) which was a lovely and welcome touch. There was even an iron and ironing board provided. Parking was nearby and easy. Would not hesitate to recommend or stay again.
Just spent 8 days at this property - it has everything you need and more. Thank you Cate for a lovely stay and all the nice touches you took the trouble to provide.
Excellent in every respect - we will return!

Room was exactly as stated. Very private and clean. Property owner was very accommodating and friendly. She provided small touches that made the room feel like home.
The Grey Room is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. It takes 10 - 15 minutes to walk into the town centre. Parking is on the road just round the corner.
We had a great couple of nights here whilst at a friends wedding nearby. The room is a good size for two sharing and was really well equipped, super clean and modern. Cate sent clear instructions on how we could let ourselves in when we arrived, and left some breakfast items for us which was a nice touch!
Was awful sorry but don’t like saying this but they was nobody there to let us in ...
Nothing good to say about this place so disappointed ☹️ sorry

Three nights stay at the Grey Room Bury St Edmunds
The room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Likewise the bath room. There was all the equipment there that I needed. The area was peaceful and pleasant. It suited me perfectly.

Wonderful accommodation a short distance from town
I stayed at this lovely property for just over a week. Everything was supplied to cater for a week of comfort and the bed was superb. Cate very kindly supplied breakfast items and also took in some shopping I had ordered prior to my arrival and everything was unpacked and put in the appropriate place which was a lovely touch. This accommodation is an easy walk into town where there is a superb shopping centre and many locations to eat. I can highly recommend this accommodation.

Fabulous view, comfortable base for exploring picturesque English countryside
We had a lovely stay. The house is clean and comfortable and accommodated a family of four well. The owner was friendly and helpful.
Lots to do nearby - we went fossil hunting in Walton, trips to the beach at Frinton and had lots of local walks in the Dedham area.

Idyllic location. Beautiful property.
The bungalow is set in a stunning location on the edge of the Dedham Vale close to Flatford Mill. The accommodation is spacious, spotlessly clean and is well equipped. The owner provided a super welcome pack and was on hand to answer questions on our arrival. As a family, we wanted a place to relax. Flatford Lodge delivered! I shall certainly miss waking up to the view of the Dedham Vale. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely accommodation in a great location
We stayed at the White Room for three nights as a base to explore Suffolk. The accommodation is modern, comfortable and quiet in a great location just 10 minutes walk from the centre of town. A welcome pack of breakfast goodies was in the room on arrival - and although we didn't meet Cate, she gave us her mobile number should we need anything. The comfy bed was very welcome after a day's exploring - as was the powerful hot shower. Lovely accommodation that we will definitely return to when next in the area.

Please come and explore some more and discover more hidden gems around Suffolk.
