Cabin sleeps Two in the loft bedroom in a queen size bed.
Come and stay at Gwen’s Cozy Cabin. Our cabin is situated just outside of Rosman, NC nestled on Line Runner Ridge Lake in the mountains.
Great romantic setting for couples!
Our adorable log cabin is a 1 bedroom loft with a queen size bed and a full bath. It is 930 square feet of coziness, constructed of large logs which makes it very unique. Wake up and gaze out at the lake without getting out of bed or better yet, have breakfast in bed, it has a great view from the loft. Enjoy spending days around the cabin, we have fishing (catch and release only), two kayaks and one canoe for lazy trips around the lake. Go swimming right outside your front door to cool down. Bring your dog, there is a large fenced in back yard for hours of play time. Cook on our charcoal grill (charcoal included) and enjoy a great meal at the picnic table or on our large front porch. If you enjoy walking, walk on the many miles of roads on Line Runner Ridge, take a hike in the woods or around the lake. After a long day at the cabin, enjoy the fire pit in the back yard fixing smore's or grab a drink and take a relaxing bath in our old fashion claw foot bath tub with tee light candles. Play some good old fashion board games or just kick back and watch TV. The living room has an electric “old fashion stove” to set the mood. Our unique kitchen is filled with everything you need, from cooking a gourmet meal or just hot dogs, it comes complete with a gas stove and oven, microwave convection oven, coffee maker, coffee, tea pot with soothing tea, toaster oven and a dishwasher.

Want to venture out to sight see? There are so many quaint shops in Brevard, which are only 30 minutes away. Visit the many restaurants and shops in our area. Brevard is the land of waterfalls, hiking, biking, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, golf, tennis, skiing, horseback riding and for the adventurer in you, how about zip lining. Pisgah National Forest and DuPont State Park are just 30 minutes from the cabin. Check out www.visitwaterfalls.com .

No worries, if Brevard doesn’t have enough for you, Biltmore House and Grove Park Inn are only an hour away in Asheville. Asheville is a great city to visit for shopping, arts, walks and many parks to visit. You can even hop on the Blue Ridge Park Way, and enjoy the scenery and dine at the Pisgah Inn. Hendersonville, Highlands, Cashiers are just a few more quaint towns that are close to you.

If you enjoy the arts, Brevard Music Center, Flatrock Theater are just 30 minutes away. If interested you can find schedules on their websites.
Need groceries? There is a small grocery store 20 minutes away, in Rosman. But if you are looking for more, Ingles, Food Lion, BiLo are only 30 minutes away in Brevard.
Thinking of flying in for your stay? Asheville Airport is only 45 minutes away from your cabin stay.

Cozy Cabin

Gwen is an amazing host! The cabin was beautiful/cozy! We were welcomed with an anniversary gift and basket of goodies. Our pups enjoyed the backyard and swimming in the lake! We loved every minute of our stay! Looking forward on coming back.

Absolutely amazing!!!

This is now one of my all time favorite places! The property is absolutely gorgeous and soooo relaxing. This came at a time that I needed a refreshing break from everyday life and believe me...it couldn't have been any better! Gwenpaid attention to every small detail and truly made this a trip to remember and most importantly we will do again! If you have the chance to stay at this location...do it! You won't regret a second!

Cozy Cabin Getaway

We really enjoyed the cabin, the lovely property and nights around the fire pit. It was perfect place for the two of us to stay for a mountain getaway. This was our second vacation at Gwen's cabin and we will definitely be back again soon.

Gorgeous property

Gwen is about the easiest & nicest person to work with. Very friendly and helpful with anything you need. The cabin is beautiful and well stocked with anything you need. The property is clean, the bed is very comfortable and the lake is stunning. We really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a pet-friendly, beautiful property.

We had the best time at Gwen’s cabin. The cabin is so clean and cozy and we are made to feel comfortable immediately. The lake and fenced in back yard were perfect for our dogs and we spent hours enjoying it each day. The location is perfect, so quiet and serene. We are already planning our 3rd trip back!

Sweet and cozy cabin on the lake

Our stay at Gwen‘s cozy cabin was delightful in every way. Gwen was attentive to our every need and went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was both comfortable and enjoyable. Our car battery died in the cold weather and Gwen‘s husband Dan came immediately to our rescue so we were able to get on the road home as scheduled. Five star hospitality in all regards! Cozy Cabin, out of the way

My wife and I try to take a yearly spring trip, to a small town in the NC mountains, and always stay in different VRBOs. This was, by far, the best cabin we've stayed in. The host literally thought of everything! The cabin, itself is beautiful, and the views are to die for. Since the cabin is right on a lake, there are kayaks for guest use, and there is easy access to the water. We had a amazing weekend, and hope to stay here again, in the future.

Relaxed to the max

My husband and our two dogs thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay at Gwen’s cabin. We were immediately welcomed with a basket of snacks (much needed and appreciated after our 9 hour drive), a personalized welcome note and even treats for the dogs! The cabin is so comfortable and inviting; we instantly felt right at home. It’s unbelievably quiet and so peaceful. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and disconnect. The huge fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs and we were truly able to relax knowing they were secure. We explored Pisgah and Gorges nearby but also had plenty of downtime at the cabin, too.

So glad we found this cabin

My wife and I wanted to go on a last minute gateway to celebrate our 29th anniversary, so we started by finding this secluded cabin on VRBO, we are so happy we found this one, it was super clean and everything was pristine, the owner Gwen went the extra mile to arrange such a beautiful property and make our experience an unforgettable one, all the positive reviews about this property are short on describing how beautiful and well maintained this cabin is, is equipped with everything you need and more to make you feel like your second home, even out pets enjoyed the comfort of the cabin and oversize fenced backyard overlooking the lake, location is perfect for a couple retreat, the property is a little love nest. Thanks to the owner Gwen for making our trip the perfect one with all the attentions and little details, we definitely will be returning soon!

Absolutely wonderful!

We stayed for a week and loved it! Very clean cabin, kitchen had everything you needed. It was cozy and the fenced yard was great for our Beagle Chiclet. The only thing with the yard was when going down the steps Chiclet crawled between the opening of the steps and escaped! Thank goodness we caught her. She is only 17lbs so if you have smaller dogs, just be cautious. We would definitely rent again! Thank you Gwen for sharing your cabin! 😊

Pure bliss

This is our second time staying at Gwen’s cabin. Definitely won’t be the last. It was just as lovely, if not more, than the first time. Cozy, warm, homey, peaceful…. I could keep going and never run out of positive adjetives to describe this vacation rental. The dogs love the fenced yard. We love the view from the porch. There’s absolutely nothing negative about this place and Gwen is the most thoughtful host we’ve ever had (we have been using Vrbo since it was called home away, LONGTIME!). Don’t hesitate, rent it and take care of it, so we can all continue to enjoy this piece of heaven. THANK YOU GWEN! You’re the icing on the cake for this property!

Perfect couples cabin

Our stay was amazing. Gwen goes above and beyond,. During the process of renting the cabin I had mention it was our anniversary , her birthday and our Christmas to each other. We also had pets. Gwen the cabin owner asked for a picture of us. I thought to verify who we were when we arrived. So I sent a picture of us and one of our pets. When we arrived we were speechless. Gwen had the picture of us framed in a nice frame and the picture of our pets with a treat basket for them. The next evening we noticed she had a hand made Happy Anniversary banner with our names hanging from the upper loft. The cabin is absolutely perfect. Loved the floor heat it keep the whole cabin heated. We will definitely be staying again.

Couldn’t have been better!

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is beautiful, comfortable, and so clean! We rent cabins frequently and this one is definitely in the top 3! There is nothing that could make it better. The cabin is so nicely decorated. And to be able to take a piece of Gwen’s artwork off the wall to purchase was so convenient! When you read that you only need to take clothing and food, it’s true. From spices to cook with to loofahs for the shower. Plenty of paper towels, toilet paper, even laundry detergent. The cabin has everything. The lake is so peaceful. We really enjoyed the kayaks. Our dog had the best trip ever. The fence is secure. Ramsey could leave right off the deck and roam around the yard. Thank you Gwen for the anniversary banner, picture, and treats for us and the dog. It was so appreciated!! We look forward to visiting again. You will not be disappointed if you stay at Gwen’s Cozy Cabin!

We had a wonderful stay at Gwen’s cabin. the fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and all of us to relax and look at the little lake. We loved rocking on the front porch and watching the storms roll by. Gwen made an adorable little welcome package for the doggos which was so appreciated. Very hot good pressure shower and everything you need in the kitchen. If i had one suggestion, it would be to upgrade the sofa. We loved it here

Beautiful, cozy cabin on a peaceful lake! Gwen went above and beyond to make us feel welcome ! Fabulous location near many state parks , National forests great for hiking , kayaking and many outdoor adventures. Our pup really enjoyed the fully fenced in backyard.

Loved Gwen’s cozy cabin! She literally had anything you could think of there, if you forgot anything. The lake was peaceful and beautiful. We enjoyed kayaking and lighting a fire in the evening. We celebrated our anniversary there and Gwen made it extra special! Our dog loved it there too!

Great Getaway!

The cabin was wonderful! We enjoyed the beautiful lake view while sitting on the porch sipping a glass of wine. We were so happy to be able to have our dogs stay with us. They loved the large fenced yard! There is no negative evidence that any dogs have ever been in the cabin. It is immaculate!! Very nice relaxing getaway.

Peaceful Cabin

Gwen is an incredible host! She had absolutely everything we needed. My husband and I stayed Fourth of July weekend with our two dogs. It was the perfect place to spend the holiday weekend! Very peaceful and little to no fireworks (our dogs are afraid of the noise). Our two year old lab even learned to swim in the lake! The cabin is perfectly decorated and extremely clean. We definitely plan to visit again!

THE MOST PERFECT MOUNTAIN CABIN!!

I cannot say enough about how BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL and AMAZING the property and our experience was. Gwen is an spectacular host. We travel with our 2 dogs and are selective to choose the right property to keep them safe. We hit the jackpot! This by far has been our best trip. The quite mornings on the porch, access to canoe and kayaks, fishing and watching the most beautiful FIRE-FLYS in the evenings. This cabin had everything to make our stay convenient and comfortable from a well stocked kitchen, coffee, charcoal and firewood. It was the easiest packing trip we had, allowing us more time with the family. We cannot wait to come back. Thank you Gwen - we made so many memories!

Why they chose this property

We originally purchased this property to stay in while we visited the Brevard area. We fell in love with the area due to the beautiful weather and the majestic mountains. Our plans included retiring to this area, which we did!
