About this property

In the heart of the old town of Ventimiglia, this 19th century house, already an inn in the past, has been restored with old materials in the respect of its history. Tiles, floors, furniture come either from recycled materials or antiques.

Located in a very quiet pedestrian area, the house is close to free parking.
The train station is a fifteen minute walk and the city center or the beaches are only ten minutes walk.

The house has a large living room suitable for organizing receptions, a dining room with fireplace, and a kitchen with modern equipment.

Three bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms are available: a matrimonial, a double and a triple. The first two open onto a balcony overlooking a garden. An independent studio is also available.
A small terrace is accessible from the kitchen. On request the whole house can be rented by the week for 9 to 10 people.

Liebevoll restauriertes Haus

Das Haus besteht aus mehreren Zimmern die sich teils in unterschiedlichen Gebäuden auf einer Ebene befinden. Es sind viel original Teile, die voll funktionstüchtig sind, liebevoll restauriert worden. Die Küche ist in einem guten Zustand, der Geschirrspüler hat bei uns nicht funktioniert. Die Waschmaschine ist top. Die Duschen sind Unikate die es so wahrscheinlich kein zweites Mal gibt, deren Handhabung muss etwas geübt werden, funktioniert dann aber einwandfrei. Den Teenagern wird das WLAN angehen. Ivana war ein super Host. Stets hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Wir können den Aufenthalt empfehlen, wenn man mit kleinen Comfort Abstrichen s.o. zurecht kommt.

Liebevoll und individuelle gestaltete Altstadt-Wohnung

Wer bereit ist, auf Klimaanlage, W-LAN und TV zu verzichten, wird mit einer großzügigen und sehr charmant renovierten Ferienwohnung belohnt. Hoch über der Bucht von Ventimiglia, lebt man mitten in den mittelalterlichen Gässchen. Die Atmosphäre und der Umgang mit den einheimischen Nachbarn sind fantastisch. Zum Strand (Stein/Kies) sind es nur ein paar Gehminuten den Berg hinab, Restaurants, Bars, Mini-Supermärkte und anderes liegen in direkter Umgebung. Wir hatten mit vier Personen eine wunderschöne Woche und möchten die Wohnung und die sehr nette Vermieterin, Ivana, sehr empfehlen!

Posizione davvero strategica

La casa nella città medievale è a pochi passi da un affaccio panoramico suggestivo. Si arriva in pochi minuti a piedi al sentiero per le spiagge. L’interno è essenziale ma molto affascinante. La proprietaria è stata molto cortese e veloce nelle risposte. Per completezza, si segnalano aspetti di cui può essere utile tenere conto: durante il nostro soggiorno non era presente Wi-Fi (abbiamo risolto usando i cellulari come hotspot); in linea con le abitudini della vicinissima Francia, i bagni non prevedono bidet; se non avete bisogno di tutte le stanze da letto, come nel nostro caso, potrebbe capitare come è accaduto a noi che la stanza inutilizzata da noi fosse destinata a altri ospiti (questa possibilità non era chiara dall’annuncio).
