We had a wonderful time at this property. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with useful items. The owners were very nice and communicated well. Would gladly stay again!
Our host was wonderful to work with. She even left an activity for our grandchild to create during her stay in the cabin. The Cabin and lake view were everything we hoped for.
The cabin was great, clean and well stocked for cooking. Beautiful views from both decks. We enjoyed the kayaks and board. Caught a lot of fish but couldn't find the walleyes!
It was a well kept location and home
Friendly, safe neighborhood
Beautiful lake
Wonderful people to deal with
Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the vacation
Great place. Great location. Great Communication. We had 8 adults and 2 kids. Overall it was enough space and we had a really good time. Restaurants on the lake were awesome.
This home has everything you need both inside and out! The lake is crystal clear and great for swimming. The kayak and floating mat is wonderful. Beautiful views from the deck along with awesome sunsets!
Our stay was perfect! This is our 3rd time renting this cabin and it accommodates our growing family quite well. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals at home and the living space worked well for our group of adults and kids. Beds are comfy, towels are fluffy and the view of the lake at sunset is beautiful. We will be back!
We had a relaxing vacation on Lake Alexander. The lake is beautiful, clear, and peaceful. The home is well appointed and perfect for a large group (9 adults) and the owners are fantastic to work with. Our family had a great time!
We had a fantastic week at this beautiful lake house! The views were incredible, the house immaculate, and plenty of room for lots of big family dinners out in the deck. All of us were paddling, kayaking, swimming and boating and we couldn’t be more appreciative of all the amenities. We would be so happy to come back next summer!
My family and I had a wonderful time at this property. View of Lake is wonderful. I had never heard of Lake Alexander before so I was a little apprehensive. I shouldn't have worried! This is a beautiful lake and the cabin is is a beautiful setting. Great fire pit outside with plenty of seating. Cabin very well supplied. We hope to rent again in the future.

Great
We spent the majority of our time on the deck and the dock. The house is adequate, but we felt like there was WiFi that we weren't able to use or a TV.

Hello:
I am glad you enjoyed the deck and dock.
We do not have WiFi at the cabin- our reason for not having internet or TV is to keep the simple pleasure of a cabin and give all a time to unplug.
Having grown up on the lake, it was great being able to spend a week with my entire family there again.
Ogema Point is a great spot for fishing, swimming, bird watching, and leisurely walks. We rented a pontoon locally and docked it with ease for 6 days. We also hired a fishing guide for the dads and he was able to pick them up right from the dock and show them the hot spots. We cooked several fresh walleye meals and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of free time swimming and sunning. Thankful for the opportunity the host gave us to show our kids the lake life we remember.
Perfect cabin for our annual extended family gathering
Very clean, comfortable, well-outfitted cabin in a gorgeous setting. Lake is crystal clear. Swimming was great. The 6 kayaks got much use. Stunning lake views from both levels of the cabin. Having two decks to choose from was a real treat. We were a family group of 11 - grandparents, children and grandchildren, ages 6-78. It worked well for all of us. Rented a fishing boat from LB Rentals in Pillager that was delivered to the public landing. Also rented ebikes and bikes from a bike shop in Nisswa. The hosts were easy to communicate with. Very responsive to questions. Much appreciated. We are already talking about coming back next summer.
This is our second stay at the Cushing cabin and just like last year it was a perfect spot for a relaxing family cabin week. The cabin has everything you need for cooking great meals at home and is close to a grocery store (15 minutes) if you need something. The beds are comfortable and we had plenty of room for 8 adults to relax and spend time together. We reserved again for next year!
It was a perfect cabin experience for our family. The view from the deck was amazing. We enjoyed swimming, skiing, tubing and the had tons of fun fishing. The layout of this property was perfect. We are already planning our return trip next year.
Cabin was great, clean, as advertised. kayaks were fun and in good condition. Lake is big but calm, was good for kayaking and fun boating. Beautiful views. Nice little neighborhood to walk around in. Awesome vacation spot for a family with kids.
We had a great week at the cabin. It was a perfect place for 8 adults to relax, eat good food and enjoy Lake Alexander. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen and the beautiful deck for eating meals. The setting is peaceful and sunsets are beautiful!! We plan to come back next year. Highly recommend this cabin!
We stayed at the property for a family reunion. The lake was beautiful, very clear, sandy bottom, not weedy, great for swimming. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. We loved access to the kayaks and lily pad. The fire pit area was also awesome.
We did not read for detail and realized there was no tv when we got there. It turned out to be a blessing but a few members of our party were originally upset to miss hockey playoffs. On the plus side, we got a lot more quality time as a result.
The checkin process was smooth and communication was solid. My only concern was that after booking the property, the description was removed from VRBO so I couldn’t review amenities, layout, etc., I feel like I had to ask questions a lot because I couldn’t go back to see the listing. The property owner was patient with the questions and very responsive.
We loved the area. It was peaceful and we saw so many deer. We took lovely walks every day. Overall everyone from 12-78 enjoyed our stay.
This was our second time staying here and it was as great as the first time. We had wonderful weather and were able to boat, swim, and enjoy the wonderful fire pit. We also visited Castaway restaurant twice—located right on the lake. Overall, a wonderful place and lake.
