About this property
2 bed Cornish cottage with panoramic views of St Austell Bay. Golf on doorstep.
Gribben View is well furnished and equipped, with a new kitchen installed in March 2021. The cottage is well positioned for most Cornish attractions and has the benefit of being situated in the middle of Porthpean Golf Club (discounted weekly membership available).
Front door opens into entrance hall with stairs to first floor. Open plan living room with sitting area, comfortably furnished with two leather sofas, uplighter lamp with reading lamp, books & games, Smart TV, and digital radio. There are large French doors with far reaching views over the bay. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs. The kitchen is very well equipped. Also on the ground floor is a large bathroom with bath, basin and WC (very handy when you return from the beach or a muddy walk)
The view from the master bedroom equals that from the patio! The master bedroom is a huge room, with the second bedroom smaller but still spacious. There is also an upstairs shower room with WC.
Parking for 1 car. Non-smoking

About the host
Hosted by Shona Blake
We love Cornwall! We bought the cottage to share that love with our boys and family and friends
Why they chose this property
We chose the cottage because we fell in love with the view! When we drove in at the top of the drive we said to one another that the cottage was going to have to be falling down for us to not want to buy with a view like that.
What makes this property unique
The cottage has to have one of the best views in Cornwall. Even the very expensive houses in Carlyon Bay don't have as good a view of St Austell Bay. Now that our boys are growing up and playing golf, the benefit of having a golf course on our doorstep is huge, and the course is great. It's effectively both a parkland and links course, with 9 holes of each!
