A great little base for exploring, lgreat hosts, such a lovely couple. The accommodation was comfortable, clean everything you need. A lovely wood burner gives the Dairy a warm and cosy atmosphere, especially when everything was frosty outside.
A very relaxing stay, thank you.

Great stay near Petersfield
We loved our stay in the Dairy near Petersfield and the lovely village of South Harting. The place was roomy and quiet, considering it was close to the road. Henry Adams Holiday Cottages were excellent to work with and our host was available, but not intrusive. We would go there again.

Review for The Dairy
Stayed here for a week of Christmas. The cottage was well equipped and extremely cosy. The owner was very welcoming and pointed out all the essentials upon our arrival. The log burner was a real treat and plenty of logs were provided. Great value for money and good location.

The directions were accurate so we easily found the property and parking was more than adequate. It is on a very regularly used road so traffic noises were a minor issue. We were greeted by a very helpful and convivial host who lived on site so was readily available, (but not obtrusively so), to answer queries. The cottage was cosy and met our short stay needs well; we particularly enjoyed sitting reading by the log burner! Thank you Janet.
Although we enjoyed our stay at the Dairy it should not be advertised as 4 guests in one bedroom there is only one double bed and this was disappointing. The traffic was very noisy and the road was too dangerous for walking.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Disappointed
Pictures are deceiving unfortunately. The place needs a good deep cleaning. The carpeting, cob webs and the bathroom smells. The bath towels were old, thin and scratchy. Instead of loose sugar in a container that had something in it other than sugar, use packets for your quests. The sofas were not comfortable. The bed was comfortable.
