Palms at Wailea #305 is a ground floor 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit close to the pool. It features split system air conditioning throughout the unit, a fully-equipped kitchen, washer & dryer, 2 flat-screen televisions, telephone with long distance to the US mainland and Canada, and wireless Internet. There is a California king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in bedroom 2, and a queen sofa bed in the living. The living room and master bedroom have televisions. Both bedrooms have a bathroom. For outdoor activities, Palms at Wailea #305 has beach chairs, beach towels, cooler, and snorkel gear. Note: A $300 refundable security deposit is required for this unit. This unit sleeps 6.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.

The fabulous Keawakapu Beach is just a short 10 minute stroll from the Palms at Wailea. This beach is world famous for its great snorkeling and long white sandy shoreline. The Palms at Wailea is a gorgeous property; lush with tropical landscaping. There is a large pool and hot tub that is perfect for sunbathing and has a magnificent view of the ocean from the pool area. We are pleased that our properties at the Palms at Wailea have been chosen to be featured in the number 1 selling book "Maui Revealed" and their website. These properties were chosen because of their superior quality and great rates!
** Important Notice: The pool area will be closed Sept. 15-18, 2026, for annual maintenance. The nearest white sandy beach is a short 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the Palms at Wailea entrance. **

This unit in Palms was fine, but candidly the fact that it is located on the ground floor next to the inner road and just across the street from the entrance curtailed one's privacy and enjoyment of the lanai. Also, I know that we were there in the heat of the summer, but the pool was too hot and not as refreshing as it could have/should have been. Overall, however, Palms is a nice complex, and its location in Wailea is proximate to so many great things.

2nd time here and definitely will return!

Stocked full of ocean toys and gear (boogie boards, chairs, snorkeling, etc). Great location across the street from the pool. Condo was very clean and provided everything needed for an amazing week in Maui. Our second time at this unit and will definitely book again!

Fantastic Hawaiian vacation!

Our condo at Palms at Wailea was terrific and a perfect home base for our trip to Maui. Extremely comfortable (A/C and fans throughout), amazing access/vicinity to the pool, fully stocked (pans for cooking and tupperwares for packing beach snacks, great gas BBQ, all the beach gear and toys, chairs, umbrellas). Also great board games and inside toys for back at the condo. Really looking forward to coming back again!

Wonderful condo

This condo complex was well maintained as well as the condo. It was comfortable and clean with all the kitchen items you needed. It was in a location that was great for walking. The condo was so quiet during the evening hours.

The Palms

Property in a great location. A few housekeeping issues that were addressed but other than that unit quite clean just dated and small tv in front room not visible when sitting on couches. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you would need just no bbq on deck as per strata rules.

Great property in beautiful location

Overall the property had everything we could want, even some items I hadn't expected like beach towels and salt & pepper. We really enjoyed our time there and will consider the property should we go to Maui again. The managers were excellent, the process was perfect they handled all details professionally!

Nice unit, great location!

I've stayed at Wailea Palms in the past and always enjoyed it. This time was no exception. The unit was clean, everything worked as advertised and was stocked with beach amenities and everything else you would need to feel at home. The location is excellent and it's quiet.

Unit 305 is spacious & clean. Parking is close for hauling in suitcases or groceries after a trip to Costco. The Palms is close to beaches, shops & restaurants. Great area for those who like to walk. The Ulua beach boardwalk walk is only a 10 min walk to the starting point. It’s a short 5-8 minute drive into Kihei. Love the island vibe!

As a family of 5 with 3 big teenagers!) we had plenty of space to accommodate everybody’s needs. The ground floor location was great for us with the spacious lanai and quick access to the pool.My only complaint would be that the sofa bed was very difficult to fold away - which made the transition from night to day use of the lounge room more challenging.

Nice spot in Wailea

We stayed here from July 10-13, 2021. The unit is true to its description. It was in good shape, and had room for all of us (we had 2 adults and 4 teenagers). Sofa couch was fine for a couple of the teens. Air conditioning was nice to have in the middle of the summer. It's in a nice location, in a quiet condo complex that is well managed. We would stay here again. A couple of opportunities for improvement that really didn't impact us much: TV is a bit dated and positioned in a place where it can't be seen by everyone in the living room, but you shouldn't be watching a lot of TV in Hawaii while on vacation anyway. Wi-fi Internet was a bit slow to the point of being unusable at times, but again, not super important to us while on vacation in Hawaii.

Could be better!

Although there were positives there were a lot of negatives. We rented this condo for a week as it offered a foldaway couch-I thought we would be 2 more people that week. We rented another condo the week before, from the owners and it had much better views and owners were very friendly and available. That second condo had beach chairs and boogie boards, which was great. However we got there at 3:45 but the manager would not let us in early (they had at the first condo). She said the other people had left late and were more important than us as they had been renting for a longer period so we had to wait until 4. The manger was very rude to us. The maid was still there (on the patio) at 7:00 pm! There were no surface cleaning supplies at all and my wife had to use dish soap to wipe the counters! Last when I tried the BBQ there was no gas left! There was another tank but under a combination padlock and I didn't have the number! I sent a voicemail which was answered the next day-too late for that night! I called emergency service and she did answer and give me the combination but was also extremely rude. I hadn't open a combination lock and decades and kind of forgot how to turn the dial. The lady told me but was screaming at me like I was bothering her! Get another condo if you can!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location of Property is excellent.There were only two of us renting for one month.Decor and layout of unit 305 is beautiful.Square footage for all units in this complex is the same.Upon arrival, carpets were noticeably filthy; visible layers of dirt. Property Management company responded immediately having the carpets steamcleaned same day.Appreciating that we all have preferences with levels of firmness with mattresses,the mattress in the master bedroom is uncomfortably lumpy. My husband and I moved to the second room for all of our stay.The washer/dryer needs to be replaced. They are extremely load and are likely the original 30 yr.old unit that was initially supplied when the complex was new.The two tea towels that were left for our one month stay, were old, worn; a sad comparison to our five other rentals in the complex that offered At least eight or in some, a drawer full.The drinking glasses are very old. One was chipped.There was an ornamental tree in the living room that was covered in dust. It clearly had not even been shaken off in a very long time. Beneath the tree, there were significant cobwebs and termite mounds running up the wall.Whomever is in charge of cleaning this Unit is falling very short of doing a reasonable job.When the cleaning person (lady) arrived, she walked Ingo the unit, did not even say hello or introduce herself - and said to me " where are the cobwebs?"Unbelievably rude. This was the cleaner; not the Property Management office staff.There are still dead cockroaches under the area rug in the living room.This unit has recently sold. It surely can continue to be a wonderful rental with some injected TCL initiated by the new owners. Several items must be replaced in far less than 30 years.

Carpets cleaned, tree removed from inside of unit, more tea towels delivered, and the cleaning staff sent back to address the issues. We are very familiar with Maui as we visit annually. The unit could use a good cleaning and a bit of an update. The mirror in the guest bedroom was cracked (I provided a picture) and the carpet by the sliding door in the master bedroom was stained. The complex is nice, the pool area was perfect and the location near the Shops of Wailea made it very convenient. The application and instructions were easy to use and clear. For the price I would try to find a nicer (refreshed) unit.

Too bad it had recently been sold because current owners clearly lost any sense of ownership

My husband and I have stayed in 5 other condos in this development and are very familiar with the development. We rented this condo for 28 days. Because it was sold, it reflects only as 2 weeks. Positives: Great location Great layout of condo space Great access to beaches and amenities The décor of this condo is beautiful; colors, artwork, furniture and it is close to the pool. Negatives: Sadly, upon arrival, the carpets were Filthy. We called the property manager to insist they be steam cleaned. There were cobwebs along the window blinds in the Livingroom and a fresh termite mound along one wall There were 3 dead cockroaches under the area rug The batteries in all phones were drained and so there went our free call access to the mainland. The 2 only dish towels that were provided for our 1 month stay, were discolored; worn. I requested others The very few drinking glasses in the kitchen cupboards looked 35 years old. I requested others. The washer/dryer made unreasonable noise when in use. They clearly are the vintage of the complex; 1992 and had not been replaced. The master bedroom mattress was lumpy. We were bitten while sitting on the loveseat in the Livingroom. We are not new to vacation rentals; 15 years of experience. In fairness to new owners, I feel that the past owners lost interest in maintaining the property after having sold it. I would also say that the standard of cleaning provided by Rentals Maui had slipped substantially.
