About this property

Relax overlooking both beach water views and beautiful sunsets!

We are located on the beach side of the highway in a quiet neighborhood in Playa San Luis on the West end of Galveston. It is just a 2 min walk to the pedestrian only beach. A Beach wagon, chairs, boogie boards, umbrella/toys are provided. Our 3 bedroom, 2 bath home will accommodate 6 adults or 2 couples with kids. We provide a packnplay, high chair, booster chair, kids table/chairs, etc. Many good restaurants are on the West End to avoid the crowds on the seawall. We have a very nice neighborhood pool with baby pool also.

*Sorry No pets/smokers/vapor users are allowed. Must be at least 25 yrs or over to reserve and must remain on property. No parties/groups/reunions/weddings).
*8 max on property at all times.
*Quiet time outside at 10 pm. Monitored by our HOA. No fireworks allowed.

Best rental we've ever had!!

This was easily the best rental we've ever had. The location was a 3 minute walk to the beach. The house had ever amenity you could hope for and it was very well kept. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was supplied with equipment, and they had all the beach accessories you could ever need. If and when we come back to Galveston, we're going to stay here again.

Great beach house for our family of 5

Great stay been here multiple times. Host is very responsive and helpful. Well stocked kitchen for your cooking needs and beach stuff available as well.

Beach house

The house is spacious and held a family 8 perfectly! The beach of the neighborhood is beautiful compared to the grey sand further up the island. The only thing I did not realize, it is about 23 minutes from the main town of Galveston. But we just planned and made it all work! The outside shower has hot water for when you are getting out of the beach. House had every basic thing you could think of that you wouldn’t generally bring. For instance, we ended up needing the first aid kit and the humidifier! House has everything for babies and toddlers! I mean everything you could think of! Enjoyed my stay here

Lovely House and Relaxing stay

The house was perfect for our family of parents, grandparents and teens. Great location, beautifully decorated, very clean and well stocked. We will definitely book this house again.

We love spending time there connecting with our kids and grandkids or just relaxing alone getting away from busy Sugar Land. We love eating both nearby in Jamaica Beach and “in town”. We enjoy the many art galleries and antique shops or gift hunt on the Strand. A relaxing latte at one of several coffee shops or an ice cream at King’s Confectionary or Hey Mikey’s Ice Cream on Post Office is a favorite. Long walks on the beach are always on our to-do list!

Our beach is so relaxing and quiet compared to the of the West End and seawall.

Why they chose this property

Galveston and the West End has so much to offer! We love the quiet wide beach. Homes are set back behind ever growing dunes on this accreting beach.
Driving down to our home on Hwy 288 to the Bluewater Hwy from Houston Is a nice relaxing drive. Hwy 45 to Galveston has a lot of construction and may have closures/slow traffic. Our house is nicely angled placed so we can see the gulf and the bay from our deck.

What makes this property unique

Quiet, expansive beach with NO cars/golf carts buzzing by in front of you are allowed on the beach. Relaxing on the swing on deck while watching the pelicans migrate above.
