We had a very nice stay. We have family in the area and needed a night time escape to rest and relax. We found the home to be clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Although we did not spend too much time there, we still enjoyed the full kitchen, outdoor area, and sitting room. One thing that was very thoughtful was the pumpkin bread on the counter waiting to welcome us. It was perfect since we travelled all day to get there and did not have any food when we first arrived. Another thoughtful thing was the grab bars in the bathroom. I recently broke my leg and I find some bathrooms to be slippery and dangerous for me right now. So that touch was helpful. We will be back again. Very cozy place.

My daughter & I came here for a girls’ trip for her 30th birthday. Rachel’s Place was perfect. We had such a great time. We ended up spending more time here than exploring, because it was just so cozy & relaxing. The sun room is such an amazing touch. We got to sit out there & watch the most beautiful birds. We cannot say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!!!

Everything was amazing! Everything was clean, the furniture was extremely comfortable and cozy, all the amenities were very useful and functional. It was in the perfect spot, nice and secluded and yet the perfect distance from all the attractions we wanted to see. We enjoyed our stay even more than we thought we would and if we were to come back to Tennessee, this place would be our first pick!

So sad I could only spend one night here! The most adorable set up - it feels like staying at your grandparent’s house. Very spacious despite the size and a really nice kitchen. The hosts were so sweet getting everything prepared for us as well. Would 100% stay again! :)

The cottage was welcoming and comfortable. Screened in porch and backyard was peaceful and quiet. Kitchen and bathroom linens are well stocked, comfortable beds, and close to hiking trails. A wonderful experience with our awesome hosts Jerry and Debbie. We will definitely be back.
