18TH CENTURY OLD BASTIDON, VIEW ON THE LUBERON, QUIET.


Detached house of 60 m2, fully equipped, on ground of 3000 m2 with swimming pool. The house enjoys maximum sunlight thanks to its exposure.

Pool owners: 11M X5M reserved for tenants, two terraces, barbecue.
The country house has 2 double bedrooms with a corner shower and bathroom sink. Equipped kitchen (hob, oven and microwave, dishwasher, fridge / freezer), lounge, 1 bathroom, all surrounded by terraces overlooking the rock of SAIGNON

Facing south in the countryside on the heights of APT, in the heart of the Luberon Park. In the area: you can easily reach the city center (2 KM), and in many villages of the Luberon as SAIGNON, BONNIEUX, MENERBES, Lacoste, Gordes, Roussillon, Lourmarin .... not to mention the SAULT Plateau Mount VENTOUX, COLORADO PROVENCAL of RUSTREL GORGES OF OPPEDETTE, LA FONTAINE DE VAUCLUSE.

A super property with very helpful owners. Well equipped. Lovely pool and grounds.The listing stated that bed linen and towels were included in the rental price but these had to be arranged separately with the owners at extra cost, as was final cleaning of the property (unless you do it yourself).

Absolutely perfect

Thank you so much to Claire and Thierry for making us so welcome in this beautiful house. We had a two week stay and could have stayed longer. The house is immaculate and probably the best equipped we have ever had, nothing was missing to make it such a comfortable holiday. The pool was amazing, totally private with lots of lovely seating and sun beds areas. It was very quiet but only a 20 minute walk into Apt centre (probably a bit longer back as it was uphill!). Great shower, plenty of hot water and all equipment seemed brand new. Supermarkets and shopping within a very short drive, great markets and so much to do and see. We did a lot of walking, plenty of variety and difficult and for anyone is interested plenty of running opportunities. We would have no hesitation in returning.

Das Haus ist in einem tadellosen Zustand. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Es gibt drei Terrassen um das Haus herum. Da das Haus auf einer Anhöhe liegt, hat man einen hervorragenden Blick in die Landschaft. Der große Pool, den man in der Nacht abdecken kann um die Wassertemperatur nicht abkühlen zu lassen ist ein zusätzliches Plus. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die herzliche, freundliche und hilfsbereite Art der Vermieter.

Schönes ruhiges Haus

Leider mussten wir unseren Urlaub abbrechen wegen einem Wasserschaden. Das Haus ist wirklich schön und toll gelegen. Das Schwimmbad ist super. In diesem Haus fehlt nichts. Die Vermieter wohnen nebenan und sind total nett. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal dort buchen.

Wonderful location in a beautiful area of the Luberon

The cottage is in an attractive quiet and private location a few minutes drive from Apt. Its elevated position offers wonderful views and the large and very clean pool is a huge asset. Outdoor sitting areas are attractive and the many interesting and charming villages of the region are easily reached by car (more or less a necessity for the property). Apt is a good shopping area for food and drink and has a large Sat market that should not be missed. The nearby and helpful owners take pride in the cleanliness of the cottage and it is very well equipped with lots of nice touches such as converter plugs for British electrical goods. There are even bicycles available for use. Sadly, there are two drawbacks. It has no independent wifi and connection relies on obtaining a signal from the owners' nearby house. This only works when you are in certain spots outdoors (and then often in an unstable fashion). It really needs an independent wifi server in the house. The two bedrooms each have a shower and sink attached to them; but there is only one toilet at the property located on the ground floor. It is all but impossible to use in the night without turning on lights to ascend or descend the circular staircases. This was not a major issue for us (and a bucket is thoughfully provided to save a trip) but it might inconvenience some. We have stayed in many cottages in France in all price ranges over the years and - except for the wifi issues - this is an outstanding one.

Un gîte au top avec un accueil impeccable

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce gîte qui se trouve dans un endroit hyper reposant tout en étant proche des sites touristiques mais également à moins de 5 minutes en voiture des commerces. Claire et Thierry gèrent le logement à la perfection, il ne manque de rien et il est d'une propreté exemplaire. Ils sont de très bon conseils pour les visites à prévoir tout en restant discrets. La piscine est très grande et très bien entretenue. De plus, elle est exclusivement réservée aux occupants du seul gîte et est très proche, ce qui permet une surveillance des enfants. La région regorge de petits villages sympathiques à visiter. Bref, si vous recherchez un gîte à louer dans cette région, nous vous recommandons celui-ci les yeux fermés. Encore merci à Claire et à Thierry pour leurs bons conseils et pour l'attention qu'il ont portée à notre égard.

Endroit idéal pour découvrir le Luberon

Location en tout point conforme à l’annonce. Les propriétaires sont tres agréables et discrets. La maison est très propre et tres bien équipée,la literie est confortable . Séjour très agréable à Apt

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans ce gîte très bien aménagé et équipé . La piscine est très belle et bien entretenue. Elle bénéficie d'un environnement calme et bien arboré avec une très belle vue sur la campagne. Charmant Bastidon

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans le bastidon de Claire et Thierry. Lieu idéal pour de multiples visites. À proximité immédiate de jolis villages comme Saignon et Goult. Possibilité de se promener au milieu des sentiers d'ocre (Roussillon, Rustrel). En étant dans les hauteurs d'Apt, il y a tous les avantages d'une grande ville sans les inconvénients. Le bastidon est agréable et super bien équipé et en extérieur il y a à disposition une piscine XXL. 👍😊 La gentillesse et la disponibilité de Claire et Thierry rendent tout simplement cet endroit idéal. Heel leuk huis in een prachtige omgeving

Vanaf het eerste moment dat we de sleutel kregen van Thierry en Claire de zeer sympathieke eigenaren, begon een hele fijne vakantie in hun mooie, goed geoutilleerde huis. Vooral zwembad was favoriet met het warme weer. Huis is zeer compleet. Enige wat ontbrak was airconditioning en de WiFi is niet heel sterk. Wij hadden een extender bij ons en dat was een prima oplossing. De ligging van het huis in de Luberon was verrassend goed. Veel kleine dorpjes en de Mont Ventoux liggen dichtbij. Wij hadden het geluk dat de lavendel nog op het land stond en bijna werd geoogst. Prachtig.

We hebben genoten van een geweldig huis met magnifiek zwembad. Internet/WiFi was helaas matig, maar Claire en Thierry waren geweldige gastvrouw en gastheer! Zeker een gelegenheid om weer eens naar terug te keren.

Au top niveau.

Que dire à part parfait ? Accueil de Claire et Thierry sympathique. Quelques conseils de visites bien utiles pour ne rien rater. Une belle location, calme, propre et où rien ne manque. Une terrasse au bord de la grande piscine où il fait bon prendre ses p'tits apéros et repas en surveillant du coin de l’œil la cuisson des grillades. La région est superbe, pour les visites des nombreux villages tous plus beaux et typiques les uns que les autres. Pour les amoureux du vélo, il y a vraiment de quoi se faire plaisir. Bref, une belle semaine chez des hôtes sympas, discrets et très serviables. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir. Merci Claire et Thierry.
