We really enjoyed our holiday , may be the chalet could do with a bit of updating but everything worked and everything we needed was there , the chalet was clean and we really enjoyed the leisure centre where we bought a 3 day pass , the staff were very friendly and we would come again

Great for a short break

Nice accommodation, could do with a small bit of modernisation. Local Pizza place (Ape) doesn't deliver. Local Co-op was no more than a 10 minute walk. Overall great for location to Bude and Widemouth beaches by car. Swimming pool and Squash court in some reviews has been closed for a few years.

Last minute getaway

Wasn't sure from the outside.. but was lovely inside. There is plenty of room. Host was quick to respond and instructions clear. Lovely village with all amenities close by.

A place what we needed for a holiday

We were looking for a comfortable place to stay me, wife and a 3 year old. we were looking for a place where we could prepare our food, a quiet place with parking and secure. This satisfied all my needs. If I need to say what could be added, I would say a bath mat and a chopping board. also if you could fix the roller blind on the wash would complete anyones expectations. Thanks for the lovely place.

Did not sleep well

Was a great location and easy to check in. Bed was uncomfortable and only one flat pillow. A blind on the door would not go a miss as we slept with our door open because of our child next. But because of this we were woken each morning at 5am or earlier with the sun. The kitchen was tiny. Think it would be better with some TLC.

I have never had the issue raised about light coming in through the front door before but I will look into it to see if a blind would help this problem. I’m afraid there is nothing much I can do about the size of the kitchen but it is next on my list for upgrading so maybe a change of layout might be better. In regards to the extra charge for electricity, it is clearly stated in the website description that the chalet has an electricity meter that takes £1 coins, this is a standard feature of the properties on the site. Urlaubsreise Cornwall

Sehr schön. Allerdings war das Badezimmer voller Schimmelpilz und in den Schränken waren Krümmel und Fett vom Vorgänger *innen. Auch war das Geschirr teilweise verdreckt. Im Wohnzimmer war der Teppichboden und die Couch voller Krümmel. Abgesehen davon war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

Great location short drive to beaches

Property was in a great location 10 minute drive to bude, near shops and relatively easy to park. The accommodation is quite basic but reflected in the price which was very reasonable. There is an on-site bar / entertainment you can use. There is a nice pool too but we were unable to get access to this which was the only real negative but we just headed to the beach instead.

Central location

Nice chalet very central for getting places within Devon and Cornwall. Beautiful beaches within 5 miles. Nice villiage location with some good places to eat all reasonably priced. Kitchen in chalet is very small but functional. All rooms very usable, with everything you might need. Good place to stay.
