Villa Tortuga is a beautiful villa located in Binisafua, Menorca. Surrounded by a spectacular private garden of 1000m2, a covered terrace and a wonderful 30m2 swimming pool. It's located in the quiet and residential area of Binisafua only a few minutes walk from the beach. The Villa is composed of 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms on the the ground floor, each with two beds. Then, on the 1st floor, a master bedroom, complemented with an en-suite bathroom and a terrace with wonderful views to the sea.

The villa is near the village of Binibeca Vell, the old fisherman´s town with picturesque small white houses, and a lively atmosphere with restaurants and local stores.

We had a really lovely stay in the villa. The gardens and pool area are gorgeous and the surrounding area is very peaceful. The villa had all the facilities and equipment you’d need and overall I’d really recommend it as somewhere to stay on the island (particularly if you have a car as it’s a great base to explore from).

Perfection

The villa was spotlessly clean, and absolutely beautiful with the surrounding gardens and pool. The owner, Alberto, could not have been more helpful (we have two teenage children - one with additional needs - which were fully accommodated). Ordering a delivery from the local supermarket was easy to do from England which meant we were able to relax and enjoy the villa and the pool. Having said that, the local restaurants were also lovely. The locals were friendly and the surrounding area is simply stunning. Our elder teenage daughter also enjoyed the market and shopping of Mahon. We will certainly be back to rest and enjoy this small corner of paradise again. Thank you Alberto for the opportunity to stay in this stunning villa, and thank you for being such a good host.

From the very beginning the communication from Alberto, the owner was second to none, if we had a question it was replied to almost immediately, letting us know when the gardener was coming and asking which day we would like cleaners, our son is blind and has no communication, so little things like this make such a difference x The welcome details to the villa sent to us before we left home was so helpful, from beaches to restaurants & supermarkets, everything you need to know about the villa. The villa was spotlessly clean inside & outside on arrival, such a beautiful place to stay. We love cooking and we have never stayed in such a well stocked villa, everything you need to make delicious meals, cutlery, utensils, pots, chopping boards, an amazing plug in hot plate, we cooked sea bass, steak, aubergines and much more. It’s in a very quiet area, perfect for us, quite near the airport, so planes flying over, this was never an issue, quite the opposite in fact, we loved watching them !! We will definitely be back thanks to great communication & a perfect villa, thank you to Alberto & family x

Fabulous holiday

A wonderful relaxing holiday in a beauiful location. Alberto, has thought of everything so need so bring yourself, some shopping and chill by the pool. We walked a couple of times to Binibèquer Vell early morning to get bread and have a coffee, which isn't too far and takes you past the beauiful Binisafuller beach and along a very small stretch of the cami de cavalls, but you really need a car to enjoy the island fully, which we did from Mahon to Ciutadella. That is the beauty of Menorca, so easy to get about by car and so much to discover, and at the end of the day returning to the beautiful villa for a dip in the pool and drinks in the garden. Ultimate relaxation, and we hope to return. As for the planes overhead, we got used to them very quickly, and the kids enjoyed watching them guessing the airline, didn't bother us at all.

Perfect family villa in a very nice coastal location

The process of renting could not have been easier. No stress at all. We will use VRBO again, The villa owner Alberto couldn't be more helpful through the whole vacation giving us a very useful guide to the area before we departed. The villa was very well equipped and spotless clean throughout. We travelled as a family and our two early teenagers really enjoyed the villa and it's facilities. Pool was perfect and cleaned twice a week, Garden was manicured and even had wild turtles wondering around! The villas location is good and within easy assecs to explore the whole island. Sa Botiga de S' Uestra supermarket and dinner is perfect to pick up essentials and also have a bite to eat. Just wish we had found it sooner as it's a real taste of menorca! Once again I would like to thank Alberto and toyo for making this a enjoyable visit (toyo even brought my expensive Bose speaker to the airport for me after I had left it in the villa!) Thanks again guys and hope to visit again soon. Mucho gracias!

Superschön!

Sehr schönes Haus, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Großer, gepflegter Garten, der fast uneinsehbar ist und somit viel Privatsphäre bietet. Toller Pool. In Fussnähe zwei gute Restaurants sowie zwei Buchten, eine mit Sandstrand, die andere eher felsig, aber auch wunderschön. (Ein Mietwagen ist trotzdem empfehlenswert.) Der Gastgeber war jederzeit erreichbar und stets sehr hilfsbereit. Einziger Wermutstropfen: die Flugzeuge ... das Haus liegt wohl tatsächlich in der Einflugschneise ... aber nachts ist Ruhe :-)

Traumhafte Villa - modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet - alles perfekt

Die Villa Tortuga liegt etwa 500m vom Meer entfernt in einem Villenviertel sehr ruhig in einer Sackgasse (einschränkend muß man sagen, dass der nahe gelegene Flughafen schon eine gewisse Lärmbelästigung darstellt, die uns aber nicht gestört hat und die sicher im Osten der Insel überall vorhanden ist, denn die Insel ist ja relativ klein). Der wunderschöne Touristenort Binibequer Vell befindet sich ganz in der Nähe und bietet hübsche Geschäfte, Boutiquen, diverse Restaurants und einen kleinen Supermarkt. Ein großes Einkaufszentrum ist ebenfalls nicht weit entfernt gut erreichbar an einem Kreisverkehr in Richtung Mahon. Zu Fuß kann man den Strand, eine der besten Tapasbars der Insel und weitere Restaurants erreichen und den Cami de Cavall - einen traumhaften Wanderweg, der die Insel umspannt. In Binidali gibt es eine wunderschöne verträumte Badebucht unterhalb des Miradors. Die Hauptstadt Mahon ist nur wenige km entfernt und lädt zum Bummeln und Shoppen ein. Die Villa ist absolut sauber, brandneu und geschmackvoll mit hochwertigen Möbeln eingerichtet und die Ausstattung ist bestens - es fehlt wirklich an nichts (außer vielleicht an deutschen Fernsehprogrammen, die der Vermieter aber bestimmt einstellen kann - wir wollten nicht fernsehen und haben deshalb nicht danach gefragt). Sie verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer, wovon das schönste in der oberen Etage liegt. Dieses Zimmer verfügt zusätzlich über einen Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Schöne weiche flauschige Handtücher, Decken, eine Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden. Die Klimageräte funktionieren auch als Heizung. Die Küche ist mit super Geschirr, Kühlschrank, Gefrierschrank und Geschirrspüler eingerichtet sowie einer Nespressomaschine. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Eßtisch, und einem Sofabereich mit Fernseher und ist geschmackvoll dekoriert. WLAN ist vorhanden und das Internet ist schnell und zuverlässig. Der beleuchtete große Pool bietet eine besondere Atmosphäre am Abend. Der Garten ist nicht einsehbar und bietet somit eine angenehme Privatsphäre - wo man sich wie zu Hause fühlen kann. Eine überdachte Terasse, schöne Gartenmöbel aller Art, Hängematte und ein Grill machen das Frühstück und die Abende (natürlich auch die Tage) zum Vergnügen. Der Vermieter (englischsprachig) ist ausnehmend freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Wir waren rundum ausgesprochen zufrieden und werden sicher gerne wiederkommen!
