Generally a really good experience. Stunning views and easy parking arrangements. We had a couple of issues with appliances but these didn't detract from our stay and manager was available in person/via phone to assist.

Fantastic location
Wonderful location the highlight being the massive sun terrace. Very comfortable. The only fault is that it could do with a really good clean . Cobwebs on ceiling and the cooker hood was filthy. We would definitely return.

We were gutted to hear that the apartment wasn't clean enough and we have asked the staff responsible to go back and give it a deep clean. Had you let us know about these issues we would have sent the cleaners straight round to re-clean the apartment.

Amazing views from this apartment!
Our stay at this apartment was outstanding! The views from the rooftop deck were fabulous. Close to town and with the Côte card, was able to ride the train as many times as you want. Be aware, however, that you must exit the train before the last stop or you will be charged a fare! You can always hop back on when the next train comes. We did not and ended up paying 27 euros for about a mile trip. The apartment has everything you need, very neat and tidy. You will not regret your stay!

Amazing View!!
Well equipped apartment, clean and tidy. The view and outside space is amazing! Loved sitting out in the evening and enjoying the view.
Had a car issue when we were there and the lady managing this apartment was very helpful even though it wasn’t really a problem with the apartment.
The only negative was we were a family of 4, the second bedroom which had two single beds in it pretty small and has a window with no blind or curtain onto the dining room. Meant our teenage daughter didn’t have much privacy and used our bedroom to get changed. The bathroom also has a large window looking out onto some flats also without any curtains so you felt quite exposed! Only a small thing but a couple of blinds would make such a difference. Definitely book again though!

Très bel emplacement avec une vue à couper le souffle sur la montagne ! La terrasse est top ! En dehors de ça, nous trouvons que les photos sur l'annonce sont trompeuses et ont été prises il y a peut être un moment. cet appartement mérite d'avoir un bon rafraichissement car il tombe un petit peu en ruine... (Store de travers, le four qui n'a plus de poignée, matelas un peu usé, impact sur la plaque de cuisine, les tiroirs qui s'ouvrent pas correctement, il manque des poignées de fenêtre, très très peu de possibilités de rangements, le "dressing" qui sent le renfermé etc) Nous avons eu une serviette chacun pour 2 semaines... c'est dommage !La configuration de cet appart est bizarre (salle de bain au fond de la cuisine, la deuxième chambre est une extension de terrasse pas bien isolée, ..etc) mais bon c'est pas grave en soi ! Pour information, il faut marcher une bonne vingtaine de minutes pour aller au centre ville de Chamonix (un peu moins si vous marchez vite). possibilité de prendre le bus ou le TER pas loin ! Autrement, il y a un lac très sympathique juste au pied de la résidence avec un petit parc ! à 2 min, il y a des possibilités de faire de l'escalade, accrobranche et balade ! 5min en voiture il y a un super U, une boulangerie et une boucherie. c'est très pratique! On a passé un bon séjour malgré tout mais on ne reviendra pas. Bonne continuation

Le logement est super, conforme à ce qui est décrit sur l’annonce, vu magnifique, logement propre.
De plus l’équipe de chamonix homes notamment Becky était très disponible pour nous aider !
Je recommande cet appartement pour votre séjour à chamonix.
15/20min à pied du centre ville, station de bus qui passe juste devant l’appartement c’est super!
Great property, 10 minute walk to Chamonix centre, we used the quiet back road to walk in. Very comfortable apartment, well equipped, amazing view of Mont Blanc from the very large terrace! Excellent communication both pre visit and during our stay - all in resort queries answered immediately - we were able to stay in the apartment until 6pm due to late transfer out of Chamonix and no-one booked in that night - a great way to end the holiday! Highly recommend both the apartment and Chamonix!
Geweldig, het terras en het uitzicht is niet te verslaan!
Fijn ruim appartement, alles prima. Het terras is werkelijk fantastisch: groot, met zonnescherm, ligstoelen e.d. en met een geweldig mooi uitzicht op de Mont Blanc en het bergmassief. Met de verrekijker kun je zelfs de bergbeklimmers spotten.
Ik hoop hier nog eens terug te komen!

2ème chambre > pas vraiment une chambre mais plutôt un jardin d’hiver.
Aucune armoire disponible pour ranger nos vêtements.

Nous avons été très désolés d'apprendre que ces clients n'ont pas apprécié l'appartement et nous avons été surprisé d'entendre leurs commentaires négatifs, car cet appartement a été rénové en novembre 2017.
Nous sommes conscients que nous devons ajouter plus de stockage de vêtements à la deuxième chambre à coucher, mais l'appeler un jardin d'hiver semble plutôt excessif. Beaucoup de clients préfèrent rester dans la deuxième chambre, car il a une meilleure vue sur les montagnes et la pièce est bien chauffée.
Le balcon, qui est considéré par de nombreux clients d’être la caractéristique la plus forte de l'appartement, a été sous la neige ces derniers mois, il est donc tout à fait possible que les déchets laissés par les invités précédents, puis recouverts de neige, soient entrés vue lorsque la neige fond. Nous sommes toujours disponibles pour envoyer des nettoyeurs dans le cas où nos clients trouveraient l'une de nos propriétés ne pas être à la hauteur de leurs normes. Malheureusement, une fois les invités partis, nous ne pouvons pas faire grand-chose pour remédier à ces problèmes.
De même, en ce qui concerne l'absence d'une fondue dans l'appartement, nous aurions heureusement apporté un s’ils ont demandé.
Nous espérons que les clients potentiels qui envisagent Appartement Gaillands North regarder plus loin que cette seule critique 2 étoiles au moment de décider s'ils veulent rester ici.
Les photos de l'appartement ont été prises en Décembre 2017 et montrent l'état actuel de l'appartement après la rénovation en Novembre 2017 et la propriété à 4.6 / 5 avec 16 avis de voyageurs, qui, nous espérons, montre la satisfaction que la majorité de nos clients ont avec leurs séjours à l'appartement.

We were very sorry to hear that these guests didn’t enjoy the apartment and were surprised to hear their negative feedback, as this apartment was renovated and refurbished in November 2017.
We are aware that we need to add more clothes storage to the second bedroom, but to call it a winter garden seems rather excessive. Many guests prefer to stay in the second bedroom, as it has better views of the mountains and the room is well heated.
The balcony, which is considered by many guests to be the strongest feature of the apartment, has been under snow for the last few months, so it is entirely possible that rubbish left by previous guests, and then covered in snow, has been coming into view as the snow melts. Very spacious and well thought out.
They weren’t exaggerating when they said this apartment has the best view of the Chamonix Valley from the massive roof top terrace – absolutely stunning. I don’t think the photos really show how spacious it is.
It was clean and well maintained. It was obvious that the owners of the apartment had actually stayed there themselves as everything worked and was well thought out. I’ve stayed in many apartments where there quite simply isn’t enough space. You could live quite comfortably in this apartment. The beds were comfortable and there was space to hang cloths.
For once there was good quality bedding and towels. When you arrive by plane, no bedding or paper bedding which seems to the norm in French ski accommodation these days is just so not acceptable, and as for having to take home damp towels in your luggage...The bedding and towels
provided for us were therefore much appreciated and made the apartment look homely as soon as we walked in.
The kitchen was big enough and well equipped to cook proper meals. Having stayed in French ski apartments where they can't even be bothered to provide the basics like a cork screw, scissors or matching wine glasses it was great to find everything provided. The bathroom had enough space to move and have a nice soak in the bath after a big day out. For once in a French ski apartment I didn’t feel like a sardine.
Well done, we’re saving up already for our next holiday with you.

Chamonix Les Gaillands Penthouse apt
We had a great time and the apt. was very convenient to town and areas for walking the dogs. There is a small lake next door and trails across the street that were perfect. Very clean and well maintained. Had no issues and arrived with a very clean apt. ready for vacationing. A cute little bar across the street which has good food and drinks, Hotel Vert. Would certainly stay here again.

Amazing penthouse with beautiful view
We have spent in penthouse three amazing weeks. It is really comfortable for 6 persons. Beautiful balcony with amazing view on Mont Blanc - perfect place for bbq and chilling after ski.
Appartment is beautifull, comfortable, very clean and well decorated, there is everything you need for perfect stay.
Location of the appartment is really the best - free parking near the house, bus stop in 1 min walk, center is in 10 mins walk - very quiet place.
Bob is very helpful - helped me to organize our vacation long before our arrival and asked all questions during our stay.
I will stay again :)

BREATH TAKING VIEWS
We found the aparmtment clean and was stocked with everything we needed for a month stay. I was comfortable even for a family of 5. Great location without a car. Train station 5 mins walk or 15 mins walk into the heart of Chamonix. Very quiet.

Impressive vieuw; quiet, yet nearby centre.
Info was accurate. Everything well put in order. Appreciated very much the weekly cleaning. Loved the laundring machine. Livingroom has a comfertable and sportive ambiance. Great terrace, to be used during almost all kinds of weather. Good customer service and personal contact. Would recommend this residence to my friends. Enjoyed special bar and restaurant Munchie at Chamonix.

fantastic functional apartment
great apartment with everything you need, easy parking, high spec, sky tv, quiet and constant hot water with a shower that has fantastic pressure after a long day. Worth staying for the huge terrace alone with amazing views.
Bob at Mont Blanc Retreats, was good to his word in everything he did and very helpful..
would definitely stay again

Gaillands North - stunning view of mountains
Biggest balcony I've ever seen, looking straight out onto Mont Blanc etc, takes your breath away. Very cosy, comfortable and spacious flat, simply but elegantly decorated, clean and tidy throughout. Agents very friendly and helpful. Easy key system so you don't need to faff with going to agents office etc. Nice and quiet as bit out of town, but not so far away that it's a pain to get in. Slopes are short car or bus ride away. We loved it and will definitely be back - probably in summer too as there's a great climbing rock just opposite the flat.

This property is amazing. Dont hesitate.
The property is in a building complex that borders a park which is the chamonix riviera in the spring. It was quiet. When you get to the top floor where the apartment is located you enter into a apartment that matches the photos perfectly It is modern, clean, two great bedrooms including one with one of the best views I have ever woke up to. The property managers are top notch and quick to attend to any requests and provided great advice for the valley. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit Chamonix and have the most epic bbq of their life:) Seriously...I wold recommend this for families, couples, or if you want space, kitchen, laundry, and the best balcony ever for same price as nice hotel.

It's true, Gaillands North has the most outragous terrace to BBQ on, with Mont Blanc and the huge rock&ice walls of Aiguille de Midi literally breathing over you.
Since we renovated and redecorated the apartment and put in the oak flooring we've had nothing but glowing compliments from everyone who stays there.
